Chapter 9

Alice POV

As I walked around inside the house I noticed that all of the furniture was like one of those very typical family homes. The first thing I noticed was Stefan dearest blocking the doorway from the view of his lovely friends.

"Alice come on in" said Stefan in a tone that screened don't mess this up.

Do I really have a choice I thought? So there I was casually walking into a room of people that I will completely hate me or just except my existence … well wish me luck. The first girl who spoke was your typical perky blond headed cheerleader

"Hi my name is Caroline Forbs" she said in the most genuine happiest tone I have ever heard.

The next girl was about middle height with brown hair and a look of a witch b=must be a new Benet "I am Bonnie Benet" yep I was right.

The next person was a boy with sandy blond hair and the build of your typical jock " Hey I am Matt Donavan" I reached out to shake his hand that was already moving towards mine.

The next one had a very muscle figure and when he turned around towards me I released he had the vague likeness of John Gilbert "Hello I am Jeremey Gilbert" .

The only other person that I hadn't introduced herself was the person what without a doubt would clash with me you guessed it the douple ganger "You must be Stefan's sister I am Elena Gilbert". She put on one of those fake 'I'm so happy' voices but you could clearly see the shock that was creeping into her voice.

"Well my name is Alice … Alice Salvatore and as you can already guess I am the younger awesome sister of Stefan and Damon" I replied

I could see out of the corner of my eye Stefan giving me his frown face well as long as im here I might as well make it fun I thought.

Caroline spoke up "You look so much like-" "Damon i know we are practically twins" I said cutting her off in my oh so sarcastic manner

"Alice I think it was time that we head back" said Stefan in a tone that was calm but firm.

"Stefan doesn't usually let me meet friends he is just to afraid that I will just embaress him or something" I said playfully

"It was nice seeing you guys" said Stefan

He then grabbed my arm and dragged me through the family home I now know to be Elenas and outside to Stefan's as he calls it 'vintage car' (If you ask me it is just some car he kept from when it first came out). Silence came around us and chocked out any form of noise until I decided enough was enough and broke the unnerving silence

"Stefan I know something is up" I said while looking him in the eye.

"Alice how do you except me to be alright form what you have told me!" he shouted at me

This Stefan caught me off guard usually he is the calm understanding one I haven't seen him this angry in years.

"Stefan there is nothing I can do!" I shouted back at him with equal force.

"You are not responsible enough for a child" Stefan said with his increasing rage

"Stefan I am sick of you always looking down at me like you are some sort of morale compass" I screamed at him

I can't take this anymore I thought so I jumped out of the car and sped off to the Salvatore boarding house.

As I entered the house I noticed Damon sitting on the house with his favourite choice of poison bourbon

"Your back early "Damon remarked flatly

"Stefan was just being Stefan" I replied in the same manner

"What did our dearest Stefan do this time?" Damon questioned me and moved closer to me.

"Sometimes … I think Stefan's mind is still stuck in the 1800's" I said sadly

Damon put his arm around me and said "Stefan well ….. he always cares about his image and the bigger picture"

"Tell me about it" I said then sighed

"Alice sometimes our brother loses sight of his family" Damon said and got up

"Damon sometimes you can actually be the more caring one" I said in a surprised tone

"Oh but only when my family is involved" said Damon as he walked out of the door

I decided to head off to bed. As soon as my head hit the pillow I was haunted by some ghosts of my past.

I only own my characters Alice and Isabelle Salvatore. The other characters used are owned by L.J Smith and Julie Plec. I would love to hear your reviews so please comment and tell me what you think. Things are starting to plan out so next chapter as you will get to see who Alice's former flame is.
