Chapter 17
Alice POV
I ran down as quickly as I could to tell my brothers what i had found out
"Guys you won't believe this" I told them as I entered the living room.
"So are you feeling better? You have been up in your room for almost a week" remarked Stefan then he took a sip of his animal blood Stefan is basically the vegetarian of the vampire world.
"What has our darling sister found out then" said Damon while he was drinking his usual bourbon from one of those fancy tumbler glasses.
"You have to see what I have found out from fathers diaries" I said in an impatient tone shoving the diary opened up at the exact page into Damon's face.
"Okay Alice calm down" said Stefan clearly thinking that I am some crazy person. Damon stared reading the pages of the entry I gave to him concentration seeping its way into his features.
"This…this can't be" Damon stutters in complete shock.
"What's all the fuss about" said Stefan as he took the book from Damon so that he could see what all the apparent fuss is about.
"He lifted his head up from the diary to face us and said slowly "You guys weren't kidding….. This is unbelievable"
"We have to do something" I said suddenly.
"Alice what do you want us to do go dig up her coffin?" said Stefan sarcastically.
"You know Stefan that might not be a bad idea" I said thinking out loud.
"Oh no Alice we can't even be sure that it is even true" Stefan gasped while looking at Damon and I.
"Well my dear brother there is only one way to find out" said Damon then winked
"I'll go call Caroline to see if she will look after Melody" I said and walked out of the room.
"So is everything all right Alice?" Caroline questioned Alice over the phone.
"How do you feel about spending some quality time with Melody" I said trying to sound casual so she doesn't suspect a problem or worse worry.
"Of course Alice anytime" replied Caroline cheerfully.
"Could you come soon Car" I asked her sincerely.
"Sure…..Alice are you all right" said Caroline to me.
"Yeah I am doing just fine" I replied to her then I hung up the phone.
This right her is why Caroline is the type of person that would make a good friend. I walked into the living room after the conversation with Caroline so we could start coming up with a plan.
"So is everything sorted Alice?" Damon inquired then sat down on the couch.
"Yeah Caroline will come over soon so we are all set" I said while walking over to join my brothers.
Christian POV
So here I am sitting yet again in this shack watching Elizabeth threating yet another witch this time the dear little Emily.
"Is everything ready girl?" said Elizabeth while standing over Emily's shoulder as she was reading over some spell book of sorts.
"Yes it is done" said Emily in a tired voice.
"Excellent now let see if it actually works" said Elizabeth for the thousandth time today oh someone is on a mission today. "Christian bring in the ingredients" said Elizabeth to me and being the oh faithful servant I complied.
I returned into the shack with one bag full of the bones of the late Salvatore and set it onto the table before the two of them. Emily started chanting in some unknown language in front of the bones. The whole room started to vibrate I could barely stand up. The massive explosion came into my vision causing to lose consciousness.
Alice POV
Here we are in front of the Salvatore family crypt. I couldn't shake this feeling that had come upon me it is like a bad disease no matter how hard I tried I couldn't shake these nerves from my body. We entered this small enclosed space which contains the remains of my fallen ancestors.
"Do you know my any chance which one contains our mother" I said to Stefan pointing to the many coffins.
"There is only one way sister you have to read the names" Damon said knowingly and showed me the plaques placed next to the coffins.
Well I know one of them for sure it will be one awful long night. I was looking at the various names of our ancestors until I came across one name in particular 'Isabelle Salvatore' if my heart still betted it would have stopped right at that moment.
"Guys I found mother!" I shouted in surprise. At that moment they were both at my side.
"So let's open it up" said Damon as he slowly open up the coffin lid.
There was my mother lying there in all her beauty wait how has she healed this isn't possible. What came next was even more shocking her eyelids opened up to revel her startling blue eyes. My mother lives.
I only own by fan created characters: Alice, Melody and Isabelle Salvatore. The werewolves Christian and Elizabeth not forgetting the little witch Emily. In the next chapter you will find out more about the mysterious Salvatore mother. I don't own the vampire Diaries it belongs to the TV show and the books by L.J. Smith.
