Chapter 19
Alice POV
"No…..not…..my children my poor children you have been turned into vampires" said my mother with sadness and worry etched into her face. My brothers and I just did the first logical thing that we could come up with stare at her like a couple of naughty kids (not like we did anything wrong really).
"Who did this to you?" my mother demanded now standing in front of us.
"It doesn't matter now mother we have more important things to discuss" I said after a while finding the courage to speak since my mother's outburst. I then at that moment heard the cry's of my daughter Melody coming from the bedroom.
"I'll go check on Melody you guys need some space to talk things over" said Caroline awkwardly then she left us with our mother in the living room.
"Who is Melody?" my mother questioned us in a composed tone. I never knew that she could hide her emotions so well.
"I know this may be hard to understand mother but…. She is my daughter" I said to my mother looking in the eye then I took her hand into mine.
"Oh Alice how did this happen" said my mother with concern in her tone.
"Some witches took me and told me that well long story short I was going to have some miracle child I had no idea that magic could do things like that" I said in a surprised tone if anyone should be able to understand what I am going through it would be my mother with her being a witch and all.
"Magic can't do things like this Alice" my mother said in a serious tone looking at me in the eye.
"How did this happen to me then mother" I demanded of her if it wasn't magic then how could this miracle happen.
"It's in your blood Alice….. you are special my dear" said my mother choosing her words very carefully.
"Wait it's a family thing what is this thing then mother" I said in an exasperated tone none of this is making sense I know my mother was a witch oh I don't even know how to process this information.
"I went through the same thing Alice love" said my mother
"Vampires can't have kids mother that's insane" said Damon. Great so my brothers have finally decided to join in this little family chat.
"For you to be able to understand all of this my son it is best for you to know my past first" my mother told us slowly. Now we finally get to know about our mothers childhood after years of wondering about what Italy was actually like around that time.
Story mothers point of view
"Have you heard of the story about Siles and Ketcia you know the original vampire?" mother questioned us.
"Yes Silas was a complete jackass to the Ketcia girl he cheated on her before their weading so she cursed him to live forever as an immortal vampire" said Damon in his charming voice. Lots of things must happen in Mystic Falls these days I thought to myself.
"Well I come into the story a little while after Silas left" she explains to us.
"Ketcia as it turns out was pregnant with Silas child so when she found out started to put a certain plan in place… she wanted to Make sure that when the child was born it would have enough power to rival Silas should he ever rise" she paused for another breath to try to fine the words to continue her story. "Ketcia cast a spell on the baby so that when it was born the child would be immortal. So many months past and the child was three years old something extraordinary happened the child performed magic. Ketcia had performed the impossible she had created a vampire witch. So Ketcia spent the rest of her mortal life training her child to become the strongest being there was or ever will be" when be mother finished her story she looked at us with a more distant look on her face.
"How does this story you have told us mother have any relevance?" I questioned my mother really what was the meaning of it?
"Well Alice this story is very important as this child I told you about was me" said my mother like this was the most normal thing in the world.
"But mother that would make you like 2000 years old" I said in disbelief
"Magic can do wonderful things my child" my mother said to us sadly.
"Hold on a minute … mother how did you have us if you are you know a vampire?" Damon asked my mother the one question that was on both Stefan and I's mind.
"Every spell has loopholes Alice I know what you are going through" she said to me in her loving motherly voice.
We just simply stared at her we all couldn't comprehend what are mother just heard.
"Look magic made me a vampire but a was born a witch this isn't some nature magic, light magic Alice we practice something darker blood magic it is a part of you Alice" said my mother in a pleading tone clearly trying to get this information into our stubborn skulls.
"Alice" a Caroline screamed from the bedroom oh no Melody. I rushed into my room without a second thought but what I was faced with when I arrived was something out of my worst nightmare.
What I saw in that room was my father in all his manipulative glory holding my precious Melody in his arms. I was trying to speak but it was as if my throat was slowly closing up forcing me to relive all of those horrible memories again and again.
"Oh if it isn't my monster of a daughter" my father said with pure distaste.
"Stefan killed you" I said in shock this can't be happening this isn't possible.
"Alice" Caroline mumbled form where father had her tied up in the corner of the room. I then ran over to Caroline to help her out of the ropes and judging by her hisses of pain I guess they were drenched in vervain.
"I am sure that we will meet again Alice" my father said just as I was about to grab onto him my father he seems to always be able to anticipate my every move so to stop me he snapped me neck. The darkness is now closing in around me it seems that even now I am still powerless to stop him. I am still that helpless little girl.
I only own all of the fan characters that have been created for this story all of the other characters have been created by the vampire diaries TV show and all the book series. i hope that you all will enjoy this new chapter and in the next chapter you will get to see a flashback and also more on the Salvatore father.
