Chapter Two: Levy POV

I stood up and left my first class. As I stepped into the rather crowded hallway my heart skipped a beat. Gajeel stepped out of his class and into my view. I chuckled lightly as Lyon Vastia pulled an icy prank on Gajeel. My laughter stopped in an instant as he pinned Lyon to the wall. "Icy-Bastard! Do not try that shit with me again." I could hear the iron sword forming on his left hand. "Gajeel!" I called as I made what I call the mad woman dash through the crowd. As I came up to Gajeel I saw Sherry Blendy looking up at him in fear. Her true blue eyes held tears. Sherry and Lyon had always been the best of friends, she was always there for him. "Gajeel," I started as I touched his arm. "Stop. You have made your point." Sherry's pink ponytail bounced as she agreed. Slowly his hand returned and he put Lyon on his feet. "Gajeel," Sherry's shaky voice started. "It was all in good fun. I won't let it happen again." He nodded one and grabbed my hand. We took our time walking through the packed hallway. I smiled as I pushed a lock of blue hair behind my ear. We stopped infront of our next class. Gajeel looked down at me, and as I looked up I saw his many facial piercings twinkle in the flourescent lights. "Gajeel, Levy" Professor Marl spoke softly as she flapped her feathered wings almost silently. "Good Morning Professor Marl." I was definitely impressed to hear that the gruffness that was there a minute ago was already gone. His lips were soft as he kissed me before class. I heard Professor Marl sigh in a sense of happiness. Gajeel was never one for displaying affection in public, well displaying affection period. "Ah, young love." Professor Marl said with pure kindness to her voice. "Gajeel, Levy please. Take your seats." Her brown eyes light up as Gajeel and I took our seats in the front row. As we sat down I noticed that Laxus was to my right and the Erza to his right. To the left of Gajeel was Gray and then Lisana. Professor Marl stood in the center of her desk with her back to the chalkboard. "Good Morning Ladies and Gentleman. Thank you for you interest in Literature." Gajeel sighed lightly as I pulled out my notebook and put my red glasses on my face. As I took my notes through the lecture I noticed that Gajeel was doing the same. The class was shocked to their feet at the shrill sound of the bell. "Hey Levy, you wanna get together and do lunch?" Gajeel asked as he wrapped his arm around my waist. My cheeks filled with color as his hand traced each one of my ribs. I nodded with flushed cheeks. We talked about lunch as I packed my bag and we made our way to the hallway filled to the brim with students, and staff. "Levy!" I jumped at the sound of my name. As I turned I was pulled into a rough embrace. I winced as my face collided with a breastplate. "Hey Erza, how are you doing?" I mumbled against the breastplate as Gajeel saved my red frames from certain destruction on the floor. The way she stared at me made me realize that there was something wrong with her. Something wasn't right. Her brown eyes filled with some confusion. "Gerard asked me out. What do I do? What do I wear?" Erza's cheeks turned as red as her hair. I heard Gajeel try to hide his laughter while I stood there thinking, tapping my left pointer finger against my jaw. "Well, you could always show up nude. He'll be happier than any other guy I can think of other than me." Gajeel said with his wide grin. I stared at him in shock. "That is not nice, Gajeel." I said as both my hands made their way to my hips. "I love when you get mad." He said as we made our way to the courtyard of the University. "You get so hot when your mad." He murmered as he bent to kiss me. His kiss had left me breathless, I had even noticed that he kissed away my anger. I turned to Erza. "I am sorry about that. With guys you just have to be yourself. There is no reason to be anybody, but you." I started as I moved my glasses from my head to their case in my purse. "Next, where is your first date going to be and when?" Erza's cheeks flushed again, this time at the thought of her very first date. "His house." Her voice was so quiet compared to the way she was normally.

"Ok." I was shocked. With dating there were unspoken rules. Atleast that is what I was told. The rules are that the first date is usually a movie or dinner, even both are a great idea. For a first date to be a his house. With no one else, it makes one wonder. "Ok, when is the date Erza?" I asked as I pulled my keys out of my purse. "Oh, umm. An hour." I thought for a moment that my hazel eyes might pop out their sockets. "Niether of us have any other class today, so we thought we would get together and have fun." She said pushing her scarlet colored hair behind her ear shyly. I turned to Gajeel who had grabbed my free hand. "Can I get you to do me a favor?" Gajeel's smile brightened as I batted my eyes at him. "What you need babe?" The softness of his voice and the petname surprised me. He had been doing that a lot. "Meet me at the apartment? Mine." He nodded as he leaned forward to kiss me again. His callous covered hand goosed me. I squeaked at his action as I put my hands on his chest. It was then that I noticed the tounge ring. He pulled away from me, leaving me breathless. Gajeel had been shocking me since day one. "Okay." I nodded with a smile as I handed him my extra house key. We had been together since junior year in high school. Two years. I turned to Erza with a smile on my face and nodded. "Come with me." Together the two of us walked across the street to the mall. Once inside we made our way to the third floor and entered a party attire shop. I pulled a beautiful emerald green party dress. Nothing fancy, but cute. Beautiful. "What do you think?" I asked showing her the dress as I pick up a box of shoes. She ran her hands over the cottony fabric. Erza took the dress in her hands and walked to the dressing room. She stepped into the first stall and put on the dress. The fabric fell mid thigh in length. At the bottom of the skirt is small black fabric that goes all the way around. The dress showed all of her features really well. Her clevage was rather visable in the dress. There were no sleeves on the dress. Erza fidgeted with the skirt of the dress trying to make it longer as she pulled on her green strapped wedges. "Erza, come on. You have ten minutes till you have to be there." I said lightly knocking on the stall door. "A-alright." She managed as she stepped out of the stall. "Wow." I was stunned. "Erza! You look great." I said as I walked in a circle around her to be sure that it all fits right. "You think so?" She asked with uncertainty on her face as she stepped up to the three way mirror. I nodded as she walked back to the stall to get her other clothes and the price tags. Erza walked up to the registar and payed for the dress and the shoes. "Later Erza! Have a good time." I said as I waved my good byes leaving the mall to go home.

I stood infront of my apartment door thinking if I really wanted to go in. I knew that it was silly to not want to go in. I opened the door to find the apartment darkened and the curtains closed. As I closed the door I could feel the warmth of the small fire in the marble fireplace. I inhaled as I locked my door, and smelled homemade Chinese food. On the couch was my boyfriend. Boyfriend. That word ran through my mind so many times in that instant. The back of the couch and my boyfriend were infront of me. I stood with a smile as he plucked the guitar strings and humming along. "It is beautiful." Even though my eyes were closed I knew he jumped having been obsorbed in what he was doing. "Thank you." Gajeel said putting the guitar down as he stood up infront of the fire. "I was writing it for you." I smiled at him, a smile that I hadn't smiled in the longest time. "I made lunch for you, babe." He mumbled as he took my hand in his. "You didn't have to." was all I got out before his lips latched onto mine. His tounge exploring my mouth. His hands caressing me as I twisted my fingers in his hair. Gajeel broke the kiss with a smile. His kisses had a way of leaving me breathless. "Geehee." Was all I heard before my feet left the ground. "What are you doing, Gajeel?" I asked wrapping my arms around his neck so as to not fall. "Dinner and a movie of course." He grinned impishly. I giggled as he set me on the bed for our dinner and movie. Off of the desk with my book neatly piled in the corner he grabbed a bed table and put it over my legs. "It smells wonderful Gajeel. Thank you." I said as I patted beside me. He moved some what slower than I thought as I picked up my chop sticks and began to eat on the chicken fried rice he had made. As he got comfortable on the bed I noticed that he had taken off his gloves. We spent the evening watching movies and eating on Chinese food.
