Chapter Three Pov: Lisanna Strauss

I sat down in Magic History without saying anything to anyone all day. I pushed my white bangs behind my ears as I pulled out the textbook for class. Professor Brain stepped infront of the chalkboard with a smile. "Good Afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to Magic History." His voice boomed through the lecture hall a lot louder than I would have first thought. As I took notes on his lecture of the forbidden spells I felt like someone was watching me. I felt the intense desire to not turn around, but I did anyway and there he was. His orange eyes made me feel like he was reading my soul. I lost myself in his eyes. An unsure smile crept onto his chisled features. A scar on his right eye only seemed to do him justice. Making him seem tougher, stronger even. His blonde hair was styled in a way that suited him well. It looked like he has covered his hands in hair gel and moved all his hair back and then up. I had only been back in Magnolia a year, but I was still kind of antisocial. As I turned around I heard the professor ask him to answer something that had to do with Lullaby and why it was so dangerous. He called him Laxus. After the professor went on with the lecture I felt his eyes again. I turned to him again. This time when I lost myself I did not realize I had done so till the bell rang loud through my shocked ears. "Hey, I saw you sitting over there on your own. I thought that I would come over and say hey." His voice was as rough as his features. "Well, Hello. I am Lisanna. Lisanna Strauss. This is the first time I have been back to Magnolia. Well, I have been here for a year, but I was gone a long time."

He stood there for a moment staring into my blue eyes. "Your Mira's sister." His eyes brightened just a bit. "Yea, and Elfman. They are the only family I have now." I had barely noticed the shakiness to my voice. I was always noticed for my brains or my creativity, but the way that Laxus was staring at me made my heart flutter. He thought that I was beautiful. "I understand." He nodded with a gentle smile on his chisled face. "Will you have dinner with me, Lisanna?" My eyes grew with slight shock, but my voice surprised me with my steady answer. "I would love to have dinner with you, Laxus." His large shoulders seemed to relax a little. "If you two need anything that is related to the History of magic or maybe questions on your assignment about banned magic then I am here. If you are not then my next class is starting in twenty minutes." Professor Brain said glancing up from his schedules and lesson plans. His hair never seemed to move when his head did. "Of course sir. Have a nice day!" I said as I picked up my pen, purse and notebook. "What kind of food do you wanna snag for lunch?" His voice deeper than before, but gentler as it danced across my skin. "Well, there is this little Chinese place in town. It is about a five minute walk from here if you want we can go there." I smiled what Mira would call my "I like you" smile as we walked down the stairs to exit the building. I was surprised to see him holding the door for me. "Ok. That is not often done for me." The thought danced through my mind.

I had only been back a year and had not been a guy magnet, but whatever I was doing I was doing right. Mira would more than likely be telling me right now that that is silly. We stood outside the building for a little while enjoying the setting sun. The next thing I knew I was starring into Laxus' orange eyes. He leaned close to me as his left hand caressed the back of my neck. "You are so beautiful." His voiced sounded like he was breathless. Before my brain could register what was happening he had pressed his lips to mine. We stood bathed in the sinking sunlight engaged in a kiss. I dropped my notebook on the sidewalk as my hands caressed his stone like chest. I felt glued to him. I could not pull away. His tounge invaded my mouth. Tenderly. His left hand traced my left side moving slowly and tenderly to my back. His right hand stopped at the small of my back and pushed me closer to him than I was before. His left hand traced my collor bone lightly as his kiss roughened. My hands tangled in his blonde hair as his hand that was tracing my collar bone moved over my shoulder and caressed my breast.

At the moment his hand caressed my breast his hand froze. "Laxus, is this how we show our love to women in public?" A voice called from behind him. Whoever it was was deffinately shorter than him. His hand dropped from my breast as he turned to face the man behind him. "Old man, it was not my intention to allow my body to override my mind." The small old man behind him nodded. "I understand that Laxus, but is it me that need your apology?" Laxus' head lowered in what looked like shame. "Lisanna, I'm sorry. It was never my intention to show you such physical affection our first day together." My cheeks turned three shades of red at his apology. "Can you find it in your heart to forgive me?" While my face had changed three colors already, it had changed three more when he dropped to his knee in an apologetic manor. "Laxus. It is ok. I forgave you before you said it." My voice showed my nervousness to no one, but Laxus because we were the only two people in sight. The man had vanished from sight. He returned to his feet. Laxus cleared his throat as he stood. "Are you still willing to go to dinner with me?" A smile spread on my face. "Of course, Laxus. I am not going to not go with you just because you felt me up." It was his turn to blush, I chuckled lightly as color flooded his cheeks.

I was only a minute off with the walk to the Chinese place in town. We entered the restaurant holding hands. "Oy! Miss Strauss, you back already?" A tall man said with a smile as Laxus closed the door behind us. "Yes, my date and I are here to get dinner, Mr. Chu." Mr. Chu laughed lightly. "How many times I have to ask you to call me Shan?" It was my turn to laugh. "Well, Shan How many times must I ask you to call me Lisanna?" Shan smiled as he pulled two menus and seated us on the patio. "Come here often do you, Lisanna?" Laxus asked me as Shan came back to the table with silverware for him and chopsticks for me. "What can I get you to drink, sir?" He was always so polite to people. "Sprite please." Laxus said as Shan wrote it down after he set down a pot of tea. "Thank you Shan." He nodded. "You wave me over when you are ready, okay?" We nodded as he turned to walk away. "You never answered my question, Lisanna." Laxus said as he set the menu back on the table. "Which one?" I asked before I took a sip of my tea. "About coming here a lot." I laughed softly. "Yes, I am here a lot. Two maybe three times a week. If it is a good week more." Laxus nodded with a small smile. Dinner seemed to go slow, but that was a wonderful thing. We sat and talked for hours about little things. When dinner was over I felt my face show that I was a little sad that it was already over. "Come back to my apartment with me? We can watch movies and just hang out." He asked as we walked to the back of the restaurant to get my car. "I would like that." Laxus held out his hand at me. I gasped lightly, he wanted my car keys. At that point I could not help but smile and hand him my keys.
