Eliot made his way into the club easily, immediately seeing Ale on top of a table, dancing with a line of other girls. There were men crowded around the bar, all of them handing the girls shots.
Ale was the most attractive girl up there, and the guys were taking notice. Ale was only gving Alex her attention, and he was definitely enjoying it. When the song ended Ale let Alex help her down from the bar, wrapping her legs around his waist.
It was difficult to see Ale act like girl who couldn't control herself. It wasn't like her at all. She was convincing, though, and Alex was definitely enjoying her attention.
"And now, open mic night. The hottest, best singer will walk away with a free round of drinks. Ladies, get your asses up here and sing!" the announcer said over the mic, Eliot finding a booth to sit in.
"I say you do the competition," Alex said, looking at the stage.
"I don't know. Those girls are all really sexy," Ale sighed.
"Come on, I'm sure daddy wouldn't approve," Alex whispered in her ear, Ale planning a kiss on his lips.
"You're right. He wouldn't."
Eliot watched as Ale made her way up the stage, talking to the MC. It was clear that all of the guys' attention was on her. And Eliot wasn't exactly keen on the idea. Alex, on the other hand, seemed extremely pleased. He was proud that the girl he brought was the one grabbing attention.
Once Ale was on stage the crowd began making catcalls, Ale seeming to seep it up. As she sang and shimmied around the stage, she was the perfect mix between sassy and sexy, her voice sounding perfect and her performance enticing. The audience was enraptured.
Eliot couldn't look away.
Once Ale was done singing the crowd erupted in cheers, Alex offering Ale his hand to help her down from the stage.
"How was that?" Ale smiled, putting her hands on her hip. Alex looked a little surprised, Ale simply laughing.
"Are you going to buy me a drink or am I going to have to dance up on that bar again?" she said, Alex shaking his head and linking his hand in hers. Alex led Ale over to the bar, ordering both of them drinks. Ale, when Alex wasn't paying attention, told the bartender to make anything Alex ordered a virgin, since she was doing a sociology report. He kindly obliged once he got a good look at Ale's body.
As Alex continued to try and get Ale drunk, she kept complaining about the life that she was having to lead.
"It's exhausting," Ale slurred.
"I know what you mean. That's why I do stuff like this," Alex shrugged, taking a sip of his beer.
"But it's not even illegal," Ale laughed, winking at the bartender as he handed her another drink.
Having to pretend to be drunk was exhausting.
"Well this isn't the only thing that I do, darlin'," he drawled.
Eliot immediately froze. He noticed that Ale did too.
Eliot froze because no one else called Ale darlin' except him…he assumed Ale froze because Alex had finally admitted to something other than being fed up with his dad.
Ale froze, in part because Alex had admitted to something other than being fed up with his dad, but mostly because he had called her darlin'. The nickname sounded foreign in Alex's mouth. The only person who was supposed to call her that was Eliot.
Not that she liked when he did, or anything.
"No? Then what do you do?" Ale slurred, leaning closer to Alex.
Before he answered he covered his mouth with hers.
"That's a story for another night, church girl. Your daddy will be waiting for you," he whispered, giving her another kiss.
Eliot was frozen in his seat. He did not like that Alex kissed a very 'intoxicated' Ale.
He watched as Alex 'struggled' with a drunk Ale, stopping to get her a coffee on their way home. Once they were outside Ale's house, Alex helped Ale up the stairs, kissing her a few more times before she slipped into the house.
Eliot watched Alex for a few more minutes while he looked at the house, a mixture of awe and confusion in his eyes. He left, and once he did Eliot got out of the car, grabbing Ale's clothes from the bushes, and going in the front door of the house.
The first thing he did once he got inside was hand Ale her clothes, not being able to look her in the eye.
All he could see was her dancing seductively in the bar.
Not that he didn't enjoy it or anything.
