Chapter 25:
*No one's POV*
The morning of the double wedding has finally come. The Shield cannot believe that it's finally here because of the recent events. Both Artemia and Adrienne, with Feronia, arrived at the church with everything they need for the weddin.
"Come on ladies," Artemia speaks to them, "it's noon already!" She quickly heads towards the entrance.
"Coming Mommy," Feronia says, keeping up with her mommy.
Adrienne follows the suite. Even though the wedding is scheduled for late afternoon/early evening, there's a lot of things to do. Roman and Dean are fixing up some stuff at work so everything is on the bride's shoulders.
The younger bride's dress hangs on a hanger next to my dress in the bride's room. Feronia's dress needs to be ironed which Artemia immediately begins on it. Adrienne has our makeup sets out and ready for when they do the pictures.
"Mommy," Feronia says to her.
"Yes Feronia?" she asked, flipping the dress over.
"Your headband is gone!"
"What?!" she exclaims, getting her attention.
"Yes Mommy."
The second bride quickly looks through the stuff and sure enough her headband is not here. The headband is going to be her 'veil' for the wedding.
"Little Sister," Art said, pulling out her phone "please finish ironing Feronia's dress!"
"Yes Big Sister."
Between the two, Art's the one is being the crazy one, maybe close to being a Bridezilla. Adrienne's the one who thinks magic and goodness will appear, so she's not worried at all. Natalya's number gets dial as a panic attack rises through the pale skinned body. "Come on, come on," she mumbles repeatedly.
"Hey cousin," her cheery voice answers.
"Hey cousin, I need your help," she says, freaking out.
"Whoa cousin, calm down. Now tell me what you need."
"The headband that I am going to wear as my veil is still at my house. Will you please get it?"
"You at the church?"
"Yes I am."
"Great, will be there in twenty minutes."
"Thank you cousin. Love you."
"Love you too. Try not to stress out."
"I'm trying to.
As soon as the call ended, the wedding planner aka Pastor David wife comes over to the daughter of the Hitman. "Artemia," Stacy speaks, "I need to ask you something."
"What is it Stacy?"
"The decorations has arrived, but…."
"But what?"
"Both cakes and food won't be here until seven thirty."
"But I told them at seven during the ceremony," she exclaims to her "so they are here for the cocktail hour!"
"The only time they can do it is seven thirty."
"Call them back and tell I want the food and sweets at seven o'clock."
"I will and also the volunteers are waiting for someone to show them how the decorations should be like."
"Alright," Art sighs.
The area of the reception has a series of tables each has either or of our colors. One of the two tables have the decorations should be. Her decorations has black tablecloths and cloth on the chairs. Purple ribbons are already tied at each chair. Sterling silver silverware places into the proper style with a black fabric napkin. Matching silver goblets are neatly in front of the large plate where the smaller one is on top. In the center of the table is a cylinder filled with water and black rose petals gently float down to the bottom. Small lavender scented candles float on top of the water. Large green leaves surrounds the cylinder making it stunning.
Adrienne's decorations are similar to hers, but with red and gold instead of purple and silver. Also her centerpieces blossoms into gorgeous blacks, reds, and hints of hot pink roses.
"Listen up," Artemia speak out to the volunteers "purple, silver, and water are my decorations as Adrienne's contains of red, gold, and roses. May I clear?"
"Yes," they said.
"Perfect, now who's in charge of the music and technology?"
"I am," one of them speaks.
"Okay how are we with everything?"
"We place the speakers up last night as the music playlist is ready. Lights will be on when the music turns on."
"Alright thank you. I need to get ready so please get all of this done before the reception starts."
"Yes ma'am."
Around three o'clock, Roman texts Artemia saying that he and Dean have arrived at the church. "I cannot wait to be your wife :)" is the text she replies with.
"Just as much as I cannot wait to be your husband :)" is his response.
"Is Daddy here, Mommy?" Feronia asked with a smile.
"Yes Daddy's here."
"Are we going to meet him later?"
"Yes after when Daddy and I say I do, you're coming with us for pictures."
"Okay!" she smiles.
They soon get ready with hair and makeup before putting the dresses on. Each dress are different styles with similar colors. No traditional white or any shade of white for this family. One of their strong beliefs for them only is having an all white colored outfit, let alone a dress, wouldn't work for them especially for Artemia. Just the color doesn't seem right to her for her body. Her daddy agrees greatly. When it is getting closer to the time for Brides' pictures, Artemia's pale eyes look at herself in the full length mirror with her pale hands on it. Adrienne look into her large makeup mirror.
"It's finally here Little Sister," Artemia finally speaks.
"Yes indeed," Adrienne agrees.
A middle school dream has finally come true. Back in elementary school they both never knew the meaning of a wedding or a marriage. It wasn't until after the holidays is when they learned it. Artemia was still in eighth grade as Adrienne was still in sixth grade. Just months after they first met
"Mommy," Feronia, the adorable flower girl, speaks, "are you alright?"
"You will understand when you're getting married Little Goddess," she smiles down to her daughter.
"Okay."
"Ladies," Stacy comes in to the room with two gifts in her hands. "Your grooms has these for you two." When she looks at the two brides, her face light up with a huge smile. "Oh my gosh you girls are so beautiful!"
"Thanks Stacy," Adrienne smiles to her.
"So anyways, your grooms has these for you two."
Roman has given his bride a gift wrapped with black wrapping paper and tied with a purple ribbon. Dean did the same thing with his bride, but it has a red ribbon. Both brides open the gifts and have different reactions of what's in the gifts. Adrienne squeals like a fangirl as Artemia has a shocked look. Each one has a set of jewelry of their own personal liking.
"It's gorgeous!" Adrienne squeals more.
"It's beautiful," Artemia speaks breathlessly.
Each bride quickly puts on the jewelry, eagerly wanting to put them on for the wedding. Once they did, wrestling legends Ric Flair and Bret Hart comes into the room. Hart is wearing a black and white tuxedo as Flair wears a silver tuxedo.
"Oh my gosh you're beautiful Little Moon," Bret smiles to his daughter.
"You're so beautiful Adrienne," Ric smiles to his daughter.
"Thank you Daddy," the brides smiles back to them.
Before taking them to pictures, both fathers wishes to be with their daughter alone. Stacy takes Feronia away so Little Goddess can help out with a few things.
"Artemia," Bret says to his daughter "remember when I told when you were a little girl?"
"You said a lot of things when I was little."
"True, but I meant about finding a good partner in life. He has to be strong, brave, and a good father. Your mother and I were talking about you and Joe in the beginning and we gave him our blessings because he has meant each standards."
"Thank you Daddy," Artemia smiles.
"Remember marriage is a lot different than just a relationship. We understand that you two are living under the same roof the sake of Feronia and also you two are already acting like a married couple, but this is an official marriage. A partnership must be between you and your husband. Everything are both yours and his. Now i know that your mother's and mine's marriage didn't work, but we still care for you just as much as your older siblings."
"I understand Daddy."
They both smile while giving each other a hug with so much love between a daddy and his little moon.
"Mommy," the sound of the little goddess Feronia speaks as she hurries over with Artemia's bouquet. "Here's your bouquet," she smiles, giving it to her.
"Thank you Feronia," Artemia smiles back, taking it.
Artemia's bouquet has black and purple roses with hints of silver. The three gives each other a family hug before heading outside for pictures. This bride's photographer has her to pose a few pictures with the sun setting down behind the trees making it somewhat darker. Soon the photographer does the same for Adrienne.
Before anyone can know it, the wedding has finally come. Big Sister gives Little Sister a hug, wishing her luck for the marriage. Little Sister does the same.
"I love you Little Sister," Artemia whispers, smiling.
"I love you too Big Sister," Adrienne whispers back, smiling as well.
The church has two aisles perfect for the two couples. On the left has candles and black rose petals on the ground as Dean walks down that aisle wearing a dark gray tux and a red tie. On the right one has candles as well, but no rose petals. Roman walks down that aisle wearing a black and gray tux with a black tie. Guests of all kinds of their families listens to Corpse Bride's wedding song being played as the grooms walk to where Pastor David awaits with the official tools.
Feronia makes her grand entrance wearing her black flower girl dress with green flower designs along the skirt and a matching sash around her waist. Her signature makeup is placed on her face with the signature earrings. No footwear for the flower girl as she walks down the aisle to place down the rose petals on the floor. Roman watches with a smile and almost a tear in his eyes. His little goddess as the flower girl. She stands next to her daddy holding the basket in his tiny hands. A smile meets her daddy.
The part when the bride comes begins. Everything goes dark as the candles stayed lit up. Two legendary wrestlers link arms with their daughter as they walk down the aisle. The goddess bride walks down first. her pale eyes makes eyes contact with Roman's gray eyes. He's stunned to see his goddess transformed into the most beautiful bride in his eyes.
Artemia Hart is wearing a black mermaid dress with straps and purple peering out of the skirt below. The silver and black jewelry fits perfectly among her skin as the black and purple makeup matches perfectly. A purple headband with black flower designs has pulled everything together.
Dean look at his aisle to see his bride. His dark eyes couldn't stop looking at her brown eyes. A red and black ballroom dress with no straps as the red and gold jewelry suits well with her skin. Red sheer from her veil covers her black and red painted face.
"Who gives the brides away?" Pastor David asks.
"Her family and I," Ric answers with a smile.
"Everyone in the Hart family and I," Bret answers smiling as well.
The fathers has their own way of showing their love for their daughters. Ric kisses Adrienne's forehead as Bret gives Artemia a hug and kisses her cheek.
They hold hands with the ones they are going to marry. Art's and Adri's mothers got the opportunity to hold their baby girls' bouquets when the bonds are being united. Adrienne and Dean is going to unite through a candle being lit. Roman and Artemia wants to have Feronia to join in their bond through sand. Feronia has forest green sand. Artemia has purple and Roman has black.
The candle lights up when the three colors of sand mix together into a bond of love. Each couple has their own stand to pray a prayer for their future as husbands and wives.
"Adrienne Lily Flehir," Pastor David speaks to her first, "do you take Jonathan Good as your wedded husband, in sickness and health as you both shall live and even in death?"
"I do," she answers, smiling placing the ring on his finger.
"Artemia Raven Hart, do you take Leati Joseph Anoa'i as your wedded husband in sickness and health as you both shall live and even in death?"
"I will," she smiles to her love, placing the ring on his finger.
"Jonathan Good, do you take Adrienne Lily Flehir as your wedded wife, in sickness and health as you both shall live and even in death?"
"I do," he answers, smiling back.
"Leati Joseph Anoa'i, do you take Artemia Raven Hart as your wedded wife, in sickness and health as you both shall live and even in death?"
"I will," he smiles back, placing the new ring.
"Oh my gosh love, it's beautiful" she whispers with a teary smile.
Roman has given her a silver ring with a blue band around it with her birthstone in a mysterious tone to it.
"Well then, I pronounce you four husbands and wives. Jonathan, Leati, you both shall kiss your brides."
Dean lifts up Adrienne from under the arms to his level as Artemia stands on her toes, with one curl up, to Roman's level. Cheers are being called as the newly married couples kissing for the first time as husbands and wives
