Chapter 12 POV Aries

"It was a beautiful evening, Leo." I smiled sweetly. I was working really hard to be a lot less shy than I was before I started dating him. He was perefect. In every way. "You are most welcome, Aries." His smile warmed my heart. He took my hand in his as we walked out of the restaurant. "Aries, would you like to walk along the beach with me?" A smile crept across my face as he leaned close to me. "I would enjoy that." His lips hovered over mine. "Good." He whispered against my lips before he kissed me. My heart skipped a beat as I smiled. "Come on." He spoke softly as he tugged on my hand, leading me towards the beach down the road.

Before stepping off the steps I slipped out of my shoes to feel the sand between my toes. Together we walked along the beach under the moon. "My goodness. This is by far the very best date that we have ever had before." I thought as he kissed my cheek. "Leo, this is a beautiful date. The best one by far. Seems like they just get better and better every date." His hazel eyes sparkled under the moonlight. "I have to say that I agree with you there, Aries." He smiled leaning close to me, his breath smelled of peppermint. "You look beautiful." My heart raced as I leaned forward, feeling the warmth of his body.

"It's getting kinda chilly." I spoke as I rubbed my hands up and down my arms in hopes of getting some warmth. "Let me walk you home, Aries." A smile spread on his face as he wrapped his arm around me. My cheeks flushed with color as he kissed me, his tongue exploring my mouth. A slight gust of wind broke the kiss as I shuddered. "Come on." He smiled as he took my hand and led me to my apartment just off of the campus. "It is still so amazing to be able to walk amoung the mages as if we were truly human." The thought ran quickly as I unlocked the door to my home. "Thank you for a wonderful night, Leo." I spoke kissing his cheek. "I am glad that you had a wonderful time." His smile lightened the dark area in front of my home. "Good Night, Leo. I do hope that we can do this again soon." I spoke as I pushed a lock of pink hair out of my face. "Good night, dear Aries." He smiled as he left for his own home.

With a smile I closed my door and went to my upstairs bathroom to bathe. I stopped by the linen closet to grab a large light pink fluffy towel and walked to the bathroom to turn on the light and hot water. As the water filled the tub I slipped out of my shoes, skirt and top. As I stepped into the hot water I turned off the faucet, slowly sinking into the water. "Mmm. After a long day and a bit of a chilly night at the beach this is just what I needed." I mumbled as I leaned my head back against the small towel I placed there a while back.

"Aries, I have missed you so." Leo's voice echoed through an empty hallway. "Leo? Leo, where are you?" Confusion filled my heart. "Aries, I am here. Right here. In front of you, dear." Leo spoke softly as he appeared before me. "Leo, what is going on?" Something about the creepy hall and the way he appeared made me fear that something was wrong. "Aries, there is something that is going on. Something dangerous is coming. Be aware. Be on your toes."

I woke with a start as my dream ended. "Oh my goodness. It was just a dream. Thank God for that." My heart raced as I stood in the freezing water and wrapped myself in my towel and drained the tub. "Perhaps, I will speak with Leo tomorrow about this." Still trying to shake the fear from the dream I walked to my large dresser and pulled out a medium sized fleece nightshirt and put it on after hanging the pink towel up in the bathroom. With slight fear I crawled into my empty bed leaving the bedside lamp on, my small diary sitting beside the lamp.

"Aries, you must be aware. Be on your toes. There is something going on. Dangerous. Beware." Leo said as he appeared in the very same hallway. The wallpaper and the carpets were worse than they were the night before. "Leo what are you talking about?" My heart was racing and felt as if it would pound it's way right out of my chest. "Aries, you have to warn the others. Please. This being is dangerous." His voice held some fear of his own. "Leo what is going on?" My face portrayed all the fear that I had. "I do not know what it is Aries, but he is dangerous. Beware."

I woke that morning in a full sweat with only one thing to do. I had to tell the others. That was the second dream that night regarding the same topic.
