Chapter 16 POV Aquarius
I sat curled up in Scorpio's arms thinking about what Lucy had said about a wizard killing so many people. "What are you thinking about, we?" Scorpio asked breaking my concentration. "I'm wondering about the murders that Lucy was talking about. She said that a lot of wizards and a few regular citizens were murdered in their dreams." I replied with a soft sigh. "Why can't her world be a little less deadly?" I thought to myself.
"Aquarius, relax a little. Between the we spirits, Fairy Tail and her smarts she will figure it all out; we." Scorpio said kissing my cheek. "I know. I just worry about her, Scorpio." I said with a slight sigh. "Great! Now the date is gonna end on a sour note. Thats not what I wanted at all! Damn it!" I thought sadly. "Don't worry, Aquarius. Everything is gonna go well, we." Scorpio said tickling me, causing me to giggle happily. We sat and giggled for over an hour before I was summoned through a gate.
I growled irritatedly as I came through the gate to the human world. "Lucy, I was with Scorpio! What do you need?" I demanded harsher than I intended. "Aquarius, you see him? Take him out!" Lucy said furiously. "Fine! I'll do this then get back to Scorpio, my boyfriend." I said with a grin. "You don't have to call him that! I know what he is to you." Lucy replied as I began to attack my target.
After I took care of my job I went back through the gate to Scorpio, who was passed out on my sofa. "Oh honey. I'm sorry." I whispered before kissing his cheek. I turned and started for my room. I sat on the edge of my bed with a sigh. "I suppose that I could just go to sleep. I do need it. Leo and Scorpio would probably scold me for lack of sleep." I thought with a sigh. With sleep decided I pulled back the covers and crawled into my bed for some much needed sleep. I fell asleep quickly and began to dream a horrid dream.
I was standing in a hallway with terrible carpet and torn old wallpaper. "Aquarius, how nice to see you. I thought you would never arrive." A creepy genderless voice said. "Who the hell are you?" I demanded. "You may call me God." The voice said as if it was whispering into my ear. "Well...God, why me?" I demanded as I crossed my arms across my chest. "Why not, Aquarius?" The voice replied as if whispering in my other ear. "Are you the one that has been getting into people's dreams and killing them?" I asked as I looked around the creepy hallway. "Well, since it doesn't matter if you know or not because you won't find me. Yes, I am the person behind all those beautiful deaths." God replied back with a sinister chuckle. "Beautiful? There is nothing beautiful about them." I replied irritatedly. "Tsk tsk. They are lovely deaths." God replied as my throat closed off. I slapped at whatever was around my throat, but it didn't help at all. "Now, now Aquarius. I'm going to send you to your master with a warning. Tell her to stop looking. She does not want me to find her physically. Do you understand?" God demanded as the invisible hands around my throat loosened. "Good." God replied as the hands left my throat completely. "Good morning, Aquarius."
I sat up with a start in my bed, in my room. Breathing heavily I made my way to my mirror to find bruises around my neck. It showed that I had had hands around my throat last night. That part of that dream in a sense was real. "Lucy..." I said under my breath as I opened the gate myself to where she was.
Lucy looked up at me from her bed. "Aquarius, what are you doing here? What-What happened to your throat?" Lucy asked as she sat up so fast that she nearly knocked Natsu out of the bed. "Lucy, he has demanded that you stop looking for him. He said that you don't want him to find you physically. Oh, Lucy I am worried about what could happen to you if you keep this up; but I am also worried what could happen if you do not keep looking for him." I rambled a little louder than I had planned on, but then I had to because Natsu is not a quiet sleeper.
Lucy shook Natsu hard. "Natsu! Natsu! Wake up!" She said loudly as she shook him and shook him hard. "Wha-?" Natsu said as he sat up rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. I stood there a little scared, but kept it hidden as best I could as Lucy brought Natsu up to speed. "Well damn. We need to bring this to Gramps." He said as he rolled out of bed.
The three of us went and saw Makarov about my dream and I showed him the bruises on my throat. "Well, we have to be careful; but I do not think it wise that you be a lead on this Lucy. It could be a lot worse for you than the rest of us." Master Makarov said after being deep in thought.
