Catherine sat in her bedroom. Sara, as far as she knew, was still outside.

She just couldn't get over it. Sara's father was capable of doing all that to her. It was monstrous. It was disgusting. But what could she do? She couldn't tell Sara how disgusted she was, she knew how she'd react. It was clear that Sara needed some fixing up, she was not confident, she hated herself, and she could never see the good that was ever-present inside of herself.

It was then her mind wandered to the surprise she'd began preparing for the other woman. She could definitely use that to her advantage, but it would need some tweaking. Possibly, she'd need to scrap the whole thing and start over- but she didn't really mind. She knew that right now, Sara would be worrying that Catherine would be so horrified that she'd abandon her. She might even be entertaining the idea that she could become her father- or even her mother. Whilst Catherine knew that Sara wasn't capable of becoming that person, she was also aware that she was entirely capable- and it was extremely probable- of thinking the worst of herself.

It was decided. Catherine Willows would be the catalyst Sara needed. She'd help her help herself.

And she had an idea of how to do it.
