Chapter 20 It's A Boy Girl Thing!
Claire's P.O.V
Thing isn't happening. This can't be happening. I can't believe Shane actually went with Nicky, he is this huge jerk who thinks he can get any girl in this school. He isn't even attractive, I mean he hits on every girl in this school hoping to get lucky with them and he never succeeds and now Shane has gone with him to in fact get lucky with him. The worst part is I'm a virgin, and I was waiting for someone special to come along and now Shane's going to make me lose it to some grease ball who couldn't care less about girls.
What if this gets out? The whole school will think im some slut and I'd have to live with the fat that I slept will Nicky. I sighed as I wiped a tear away and continued to stare at the ceiling of my room. I couldn't hate Shane more now, and if he does go through with this I will never forgive him.
My phone buzzed and I sighed again, that better not be Shane telling me how much fun he's having now. I checked my phone and stared at my screen, it was Sandra she had texted me her address. I had completely forgotten about our date tonight, and to be honest I had no idea what I was going to do. I mean I guess all I needed to do was take on her date I would like to go on too, were both girls here...well sort of. All I need to do is act how I would like a boy to act with me.
Shane's P.O.V
So I guess I didn't really think this through. I mean sure I wanted piss Claire off and I'm sure I succeeded in doing that, but now I'm stuck in some trailer park with Nicky.
'Here babe' Nicky says as he passes me a beer bottle.
'Thanks' I said as I grabbed it from his hand and gulped it down.
'Wow' He says as he stares at me.
I frowned 'What?'
'I've never seen a chick drink like that before' He told me.
'Oh...well i have a dry throat' I lie.
'Oh? Well maybe I can do something about that' Nicky says as he sits down and moves closer to me, my eyes widened as I realised that he was leaning into kiss me.
I moved back quickly and held up my bottle 'Another beer?'
Nicky sighed and got up to get another drink. This is going to be a long night.
Claire's P.O.V
I waited patiently for Sandra to come outside of her house, it just so happens that her mum answered the door when I knocked for her. It looked like she was excited for me to take Sandra out which totally surprised me, I expected her to be protective and assume that I look like the type to use girls...because well that is what Shane does.
The door opened and Sandra walked out the house and smiled shyly at me, I saw her mum watching us from the window grinning at us. I held out my hand for Sandra and she grabbed hold of my hand, we then began walking out of her front garden on or way for something to eat. Tonight she decided to wear a floral dress with little white sandals, she also wore a white cardigan to go with it and to top that off she clipped some of her hair back.
'So where are we going Shane?' Sandra asked me.
'I thought we could go to the Big burger place' I answered.
'I love burgers' She laughed...and then snorted.
'Oh...well that's good' I said, I was not looking forward to this night but I knew that it was the only way to piss Shane off.
Shane's P.O.V
So far all that's happened is that I've drank a lot more beer and Nicky has tried to kiss me about 5 times already. I really am regretting even going through with this, I don't know what I was thinking. But maybe if I'm lucky Nicky wont expect anything to happen tonight and I can go home like nothing ever happened.
'How about we take this to the bedroom?' Nicky questioned. I stared at him speechless not able to speak.
'Come on babe lets gets cracking, I've been ready for this all night' Nicky says as he started taking his top of.
This isn't happening, he' going to make me his bitch!
'Come on baby I want to see some flesh' He told me. There is no way I'm going to go through with this, he's not touching me.
'I...uh...' I couldn't find the words to speak.
He looked at me 'What's wrong babe?'
I stared at him not really saying anything.
He raised his eyebrow and smiled 'Do you need some help?'
Okay this has to stop now, think Shane, say something...'I have to pee' I announced.
Nicky frowned 'What? Right now?'
I nodded 'Yep that's right, so why don't you get undressed in here' I told him as I pushed him into his room...'And well...don't start without me...I guess' I shut the door and ran to get my coat and bag, I then opened the door and bolted out of his house...well his trailer.
'Hey!' I hear Nicky shout.
'Shit' I mumbled as I ran faster.
'Come back!' He shouted, I completely ignored him and carried on running I need to get as far away from him as possible.
Claire's P.O.V
This night has been terrible and I've hated every minute of it. All Sandra has done is laugh...and snorted at almost everything I've said. I mean all she wants to talk about is me and if I don't find a way to continue the conversation, then it would go really awkward and Sandra would just sit and stare at me.
'So did you have a nice night?' I asked her.
She nodded 'Of course I did we should totally do this again sometime'
'Totally' I said, we walked up to her front door and she turned around to face me.
'I had a really nice night Shane' She told me.
I smiled at her 'Good, I'm glad you had fun'.
'I was totally surprised you even asked me out at first, but then I realised that it must of been all those times I've talked to you and Michael. I must have made an impression' She grinned.
'Erm...sure?' I said not really knowing what to say.
'I mean its like we are meant to be together, don't you agree?' She asked me.
I stared at her in shock, does she really think that her and Shane re made for each other? No one is made for Shane, who would seriously want to put up with him, he's a jerk. After everything he's done to me, He doesn't deserve to have someone like him so much. Shane doesn't even deserve Sandra.
'Shane? Do you think we are meant to be together?' Sandra asked me.
But what Shane deserve is something that will piss him off for everything he's done.
I smiled at her 'Sure Sandra'.
She grinned at me and I awkwardly smiled at her.
'Its getting late, why don't I see you at school tomorrow?' I asked her.
'Sure Shane' She said.
I nodded and then leaned in and kissed her cheek, she giggled and looked down.
'See you later' I say as I walked away from her.
I can't believe she likes Shane so much, I don't know what she sees in him. How can she not see that under all of his good looks he actually is the most horrible person ever. Wait did I just admit that Shane has good looks? Stop it Claire don't think like that. I just don't even want to talk to him now and I'm not looking forward to tomorrow, I'm sure Shane will be excited to tell me how much fun he had tonight. I just hope Sandra starts telling people how much fun she had tonight and then hopefully Shane wont be so popular any more and he sure does love his popularity.
