So this is the end. The last chapter. Or at least the last for a while. I really wanted to kill off Booth, but if someone else did that would piss me off to no end. So, I didn't. Maybe later. I may or may not update and "fill in the blanks" once I am not so annoyed with myself and how I am writing this.
I watched the "The Woman in White" yesterday, and I am kind of angry that Jared Booth wasn't there. I get that Brendan Fehr (*Swoon*) was filming a new show and whatever, but still, if Cyndi Lauper could make time I'm sure he could too.
Also, whoever that reviewer was, I do not know what OOC stands for. A million different possibilities went through my head, and somehow most of them made sense in context.
Brennan sat her wedding picture down on the mantle 'Two years.' She thought, she'd have sworn it hadn't been more than a few months.
They were finally moved into their house. It had taken over a year to build. Booth had insisted on building it himself, the way his grandfather had. He had help, of course, but every little detail was thought about and discussed in length before anything was done. What they ended up with was a modest abode, a strange mix of morbid, masculine, feminine and warmth. Crown moldings, and wainscoting, ten hand built bookshelves, and a skeleton standing in the corner.
"You're home." She turned to see a very tired Seeley Booth taking off his scarf and then boots in the foyer, leaving a slurry of mud, ice and snow in his wake. "I missed you."
"I wish I could have just stayed home with you all day." He kissed her lightly on the lips. "What's for dinner?"
"I left some mac and cheese for you in the oven."
"You're the best." He kissed her again and then headed toward the kitchen, running his hand through his wet hair.
She stared at the Christmas tree. It really was picturesque, all lit up standing in front of a bay window, you could see the snow falling in the distance.
Temperance walked up to the pine, twiddling a rocking horse ornament between her fingers, "Noah's First Christmas" written across the bottom.

Temperance watched as he climbed the stairs ahead of her, ducking into the dark room at the end of the hall.
She waddled into the doorway opposite to the one he had disappeared into, climbed into a flannel sheet laden bed, and waited for her husband.
"You shouldn't have waited up for me." Seeley watched her wiggle around in the bed while he took off his watch and placed it on the dresser.
"I wanted to." She smiles, "Noah is sleeping?"
"Like a rock." Booth hated working late, all he could think about was all the things he could be doing with his son. But it was all worth it, knowing he was going to be off the next couple of weeks and he could spend the entire time celebrating the holidays with his wife and four year old son.
He slid into bed beside her. He loved these cold winter nights. He'd turn down the heat in their room just so she would sleep closer, and rub her cold feet against his legs. "I love you." He looked her in the eyes then kissed her softly.
"I love you too, Booth." And she meant it.
"And I love you too," He rested his hands on the swell of his wife's very pregnant torso, "baby girl." He finished before turning off the light and curling into bed against his wife.
