~Lacy~
It was the first day back from Holiday break and I was not feeling it. Until lunch... Then it got considerably better. And that's probably because of the reactions. I sat down tiredly at the main dining hall at school were we have the second meal of the day five days of the week and almost face-planted into my mashed potatoes.
"Wake up!" Kayla snaps
"What?" I whine miserably
"Fresh Meat." Lacy whispers next to me, laughing
Fresh Meat=New Kid=Kayla is going to make this great.
Just then, Kayla whistles, and I finally get a glimpse at this new kid. It's a guy. His hair, a lighter shade of Sarah's dads hair, in the style of Poppy's dad's senior year hair. His smile was memorizing, perfect, straight, white teeth. He was tall, maybe at least 6'0". It's like Jesus just decided one day to take perfectness and stuff it in a 14 year old boy's body.
The boy walks towards us
"Well, helllooo." Kayla smiles
"Hello, I'm Jake, Jake Greenwood, and you are?" He asks, I can already tell there's an American accent in his voice, oh boy, this was going to be interesting
Kayla sticks her arm out across the polished wood, her bracelets sliding down her wrist to her forearm. "I'm Kayla Lewis. And trust me, keep talking in that accent and you can have anything you want around here." Then she looks at us "and this is Poppy Clarke and Lacy Campbell... If only I could find Sarah and Scarlett... But anyways, we are 3/5ths of the Anubis girls!"
"Well... I'd better just sit down because you are you my new house mates." He smiles
Kayla smiles wider. This was going to be a good day.
~Sarah~
I run into the dining hall. I had to warn Kayla. I just say the boy from my dream in the hallway. I quickly go to our table. But, then I see him. The boy was at the table. Fish. Of course he would be in Anubis! Then conveniently meets my friends. I run up to her
"Kayla, I don't mean to intrude, but I've gotta talk to you," I say, then look at the boy "alone."
I drag her off her seat and to a corner
"What? God, calm down." Kayla rubs her wrist
"That boy. He's the one from my dream." I say quickly "I am going to die."
"No, your not. Lucas isn't here." She reminds me
"Your right." I sigh
"I always am!" She laughs and flips her hair
Oh god, why am I trusting her with my life? The girl dresses like life is a cat-walk and I'm putting my literal existence into her hands basically. And I don't know if this is good or not, but I officially need to start thinking things through more
