~Chapter 16~
-Jake-
After Sarah passed out, fell out of her seat, onto the cold tile and I was was asked to carry her the nurses office (which I did) I can confidently say this has been my weirdest first day I've ever had.
I look up at the clock as I grab another bad of ice from the fridge for Sarah, who's first bad of ice had already melted, I saw the time was about 9 o'clock. Sarah has been out for about fifteen minutes. Walking across the room from the fridge to the bed in the corner where Sarah was, I could see Kayla's frantic worry on her face as well as Roberts calm, cool, collected facade.
It's hard to believe that they could ever be a couple, and by the reactions last night, you could tell, I wasn't the only one.
"What if... you know "who" did something to her?" Kayla asks Robert
"Kayla, he's a lunatic, not a sorcerer." Robert replies calmly, "it's probably just because of stress or shock of something."
"Look, I may be American, but I can still see through your crap code." I remark as I put the ice pack on Sarah head, but she's already beginning to stir, then her green eyes flitter open
"Wait... What's going on?" She asks
"You met the new teacher, then pass out." Robert explains
"I know what happened doofus." Sarah tells him "but what's going on?"
"Well, it's 9 am and your in the nurses office-" I start but Kayla pushes through me and Robert
"Sarah! Thank god! I have apple juice and a bannana? Oh, and I have cookies!" Kayla rushes
Sarah sits up the bed "Kayla, I'm fine." She pushes away Kayla's food
"GUYS!" AJ rushes in "Who is Sohpia Danae? Why is her brother here? And why does he want to sacrifice Sarah?" He holds up Roberts thin MacBook
"Umm..." Kayla looks between Sarah and Robert "what if I told you Anubis house is magical?"
"Scientifically advanced." Sarah corrects
"Wait... So your telling me our history teacher want to kill our housemate?" I ask
"Yeah, basically our new history teacher is a potentially-murderous, lunatic who wants to advenge his dead sister by killing mine." Robert tells us
"Well, that was left out of the school brochure..." I inform them
"Trust me, 'death of friend' wasn't included in the activity section of mine either." AJ reminds us "so what is hell is going here?"
