Kikyan's POV

"!" I froze, still grasping the phone.

"Honey?" Mom asked worriedly. "You're not seeing someone are you?"

"N-No… I'm not." I replied.

"Alright… So when do you want to meet this person?"

"Uh…"

"Better yet, why don't we meet up somewhere and you can introduce yourself to him."

"Wait, you're coming here?" I gasped.

"Yes, of course. Plus, we want to see how you're adjusting."

"Alright…" After saying a few more sentences, we hung up. I sighed and held my hair with one hand in frustration. "So mom and dad made an arranged marriage for me…" I muttered to myself. My phone vibrates in my other hand. On the screen shows Tatsuro's name. "Hello?"

"Kikyan? Where did you go?"

"Oh! I'm sorry. I'll be right there." I replied and left the table.

"Hey Kikyan, where were you?" Ranko, who was already drinking, asked me.

"Um… Talking to a friend." I answered.

"I see… Come drink with us!" Ranko said happily and handed me a drink.

"Don't you have work tomorrow sis?" Tatsuro questioned.

"Yup!"

"Then you shouldn't drink so much." Tatsuro whispered softly and gently took the glass from her.

"I can handle a few more drinks."

"No you can't."

"Yes I can."

"No you can't."

"Yes I can."

Knowing that this was going to take forever, I interrupted. "Um… Guys? We still need to order."

"… Oh!" They both quickly grabbed a menu.

"We should get this!" Ranko pointed at some dish on the menu.

I simply nodded and stared at my phone. Marriage… I never even thought about that… Plus, I'm still in college, who thinks about that in that age?!

"- matter?"

"Huh?!" I looked at the two siblings who stared at me worriedly.

"Are you okay?" Tatsuro asked me.

"Yes, fine." I replied sadly. "Oh! Um… I forgot I had to so something. Sorry." I stood up and grabbed my purse.

"Where do you need to go? We can take you." Tatsuro offered.

"No, it's fine." I said and walked past Atsumu and the others.

"Kikyan." Hiro called.

I turned around. "Yes?"

"Are you sure you're alright?" He inquired worriedly and the others looked at me.

I took a breath and faked a smile. "Of course!"

"Don't lie." Takuto muttered while eating his pork noodles.

I swallowed and met his gaze.

"It's all Riki's fault that this happened." Takuto started, the others listening while Riki was nowhere in sight. "He made you cry even if it all happened in a day… I'll take you instead."

"!" I gasped and so did the others.

"I'm serious." His gaze stayed with mine.

"I-…" I paused. What do I say? What should I say?

"Takuto." A voice called.

That voice… I didn't have to turn around to see who it was…

"Riki." Kenshi greeted first.

Leave… I thought in my head. I have to leave… I started at Hiro. "Thanks for worrying Hiro, but I'm fine don't worry." I thanked and started for the door.

"Think about it Kikyan." I heard Takuto whispering when I walked past.

I stopped dead in my tracks. When I turned to Takuto, he had no expression as he continued eating. I sighed and speed walked past Riki. I could tell he was staring at me, but I ignored it and ran once the door closed. "I can't take this. First, Riki dumped me and now my parents made an arranged marriage for me." I sighed to myself. "I don't even have the appetite to eat anymore… Can this day get any worse?" I turned to an empty street and crossed my arms. "It's freezing out here… Pretty weird for summer…"

(Footsteps)

"!" Is someone following me?! I quickened my steps only to hear the steps behind me increasing. Hmm… I spun around to see no one there. "?" I swore someone was following me… I sighed and headed for Ranko's house.

(Footsteps)

Not again… I turned the corner and a wall faced me. Dead end… You gotta be joking.

(Fsshh) (Bang!)

A bomb?! "?" I was surrounded by smoke. "What the-" I backed against the wall and cover my mouth.

(Footsteps)

I don't why, but when I saw an outline of the figure, I grabbed its arm. A man…

"?!"

I couldn't see his face, but I saw a glimpse of green. "?"

"I'm sorry, but I must go. We shall meet again Miss. Kikyan." A low voice muttered and ran off before I can see his face.

"How does he know my name? And what did he mean by that?" I panicked. The smoke dispersed and I was the only one standing there. I sighed in relief and quickly ran back home.

Third POV

At LRN

"Thank you, please come again!" Boss said happily and locked the door after the last customer.

"Finally." Takuto slumped onto a stool.

"…" Hiro thought for a moment. "You weren't kidding Takkun?"

"What do you mean?"

"What you told Kikyan."

"… Yeah…" Takuto answered after taking a glance at Riki to see his reaction.

"You really want to hurt her badly don't you?" Riki asked seconds later. "I still love her… But I just don't want to hurt her… Telling her that I was a leader for the Black Foxes for years…" He paused. "I don't know how she's going to take it. I mean like… Who would want a criminal?"

"If she really loves you, she wouldn't think about it like that." Kenshi stated.

"Yeah but still… I just think that she will be happier with someone else."

"Are you kidding me? You liked… No… You guys loved each other for many years now." Hiro sighed.

"That was before I became a Black Fox." Riki replied coolly. "If I wasn't one… I would want to live a happy life with her."

"What are you going to do then?" Takuto inquired.

"Hah…" Riki ran his hand through his hair. "I don't know… I don't know…"

Third POV (Elsewhere)

"So that woman, Kikyan, is the Black Foxes weakness. Taking her would be easy. I'll just have to earn her trust and then…" A voice said and stared at the computer. "I'll use her to destroy the Black Foxes!"

(Screen darkens as laughter fills the empty room. The only thing glowing was the computer, showing a picture of Kikyan and the Black Foxes several years ago.)
