21. Chapter 20

-Poppy-

I got to back to Anubis at around 3 pm. And of course, like always, when I get to my room, Kayla and Sarah are gone. Their always gone. And maybe Kayla had an excuse, I mean, she was now dating Robert, but unless Sarah was really good at lying, there was reason she should always be gone. I mean right after Christmas, they've been gone almost every day, all day. There was something happening around here someone wasn't telling us.

I drop my bag off on my bed and walk into Poppy and Scarlett's room "their gone again?" Scarlett asks

"Yep." I shrug

"So what is this, day 10?" Poppy questions

"I don't even know." I sigh

"Something's up around here." Poppy breathes deeply and rolls her eyes

"Tell me about it." I laugh slightly then spy a few boxes in the corner of the room, with familiar brands of clothes on them, Chanel, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Gucci, Guess, Dior, Valentino, Prada, Dolce&Gabbana, they had expensive tastes in clothes, and they could afford it "what's that I spy, with my little eyes? Someone have a shopping-spree?" I walk over to the boxes "crap, you guys, how much is your allowances combined? These are some of the most expensive clothing-lines to date."

"Oh, don't act like your parents don't have money!" Lacy jokes

"They do, I just don't get a £5,000 allowance a month." I laugh

"We've been saving up for a shopping spree. Plus, some of theme we bought in November and they just got here. And some of them are old boxes that were just sorting out." Scarlett smiles

"And I wouldn't be complaining!" Lacy smiles and grabs a Fendi box

"Why not?" I ask

"Because of this." Lacy hands me the box in her hands

I open it up, neatly folded inside, a pair of a dark, high-raise skinny, Guess jeans, a white silk cady Guess shirt, (I recongize from their website immediately), a pair of Ella Ballerina Louis Vuitton flats and a Fendi By aThe Way Mini purse. "This is why were friends." I smile

"That's why I think you might help?" Lacy asks sweetly, "I have plan."

"What is it?" I asked wearly

"Look, we know you like AJ, don't deny it. And Scarlett likes Robert." Lacy says, " don't deny it. Kayla and Robert? Not a good fit. We all know that, that's why, I think we need to get AJ and Scarlett together." Lacy takes a deep breath

"No." Scarlett and I say in unison

"Look, Kayla sees them, she'll break it off for AJ, Scarlett can go to Robert. AJ will never forgive Kayla, so he's all yours." Lacy explains

"Your sick." Scarlett whispers

"I'm not sick. I'm smart." Lacy tells us "look, if our moms could play the game of deception for love. So can we.". She looked at us with a determined look
