A/N: I know these chapters are so short, but this is a half kind of re-write where I'm pretty much writing everything into third person so I'm sorry.

I promise, when I start updating again, the chapters shall be longer! :D

It sounded like a little boy.

"Um, hi. Could I please speak to May?" Dawn asked politely.

"I'm sorry, she is not available right now," the boy said, in a creep and strange voice. Dawn started panicking slightly, and she heard a bit of squirming in the background.

"Where is she at the moment?" Dawn asked, trying to keep the panic out of her voice.

There was a slight pause. "Not available," the boy responded. A crash was heard in the background.

"Who are you?!" Dawn exclaimed into the phone.

"Goodbye," the boy said, before hanging up the phone.

Dawn stared at her phone for a few seconds, trying to register what had just happened. She abruptly got up, grabbing her shoes and ran out the door yelling, "I'm going to school now!"

She got a few questioning stares from her family. After a few moments of sprinting, she noticed Drew was following her.

"Drew, what are you doing?" she yelled, continuing to run.

"What are you doing?" he yelled back. Dawn ignored his question, continuing to run. Reaching May's house, she frantically pressed the doorbell.

To her surprise, a lady answered the door.

"Hello, dear, are you a friend of May's?" she asked, with a warm motherly smile.

"Yes. Would it be alright if I talked to her for a few minutes?" Dawn asked politely.

"Of course, dear. She's upstairs in her room. It's not hard to find," she said, directing Dawn towards the stairs.

"Thank you."

Dawn walked up the stairs, reaching May's room and knocking on her door. A young boy with navy blue hair and glasses opened the door.

"May I help you?" he asked. Dawn recognized the voice, it was the same person on the phone.

"Um, is May here?" Dawn asked awkwardly.

"Of course, come on in." He stepped to the side, gesturing for her to enter the room. Dawn slowly stepped into the room, spotting May wrapped in a blanket looking like a worm and trying to get out.

Dawn stared at her, confused. "Help me!" May yelled, her voice muffled by the blanket. Dawn tried to stifle a giggle, wondering how in the world May would have gotten into a position like that.

The door creaked. Dawn turned, to find Drew leaning against the doorframe. May was still frantically rolling around, causing Drew to smirk. He walked over to May's bed, slowly, and sat down on the edge.

"Well, well, well, April. What did you get yourself into this time?" Drew smirked, hearing May's muffled yells increasing.

"You did this?" Dawn asked, turning to the boy with navy hair. He nodded, proud.

Dawn continued, "So you were the one who answered May's phone and got me freaked out?"

"Yup! I'm Max, May's genius brother." He extended out his hand for Dawn to shake.

"I'm Dawn. Nice to meet you, Max." Dawn shook his hand, before turning back to where Drew and May were.

May was still struggling and squirming, while Drew was constantly teasing her.

They're definitely in love, thought Dawn.

After a while, Dawn decided to help May out. When she got out of the blanket, her hair was a complete mess and she was glaring at Drew. Drew simply chuckled and walked away without another word.

Max followed Drew example, leaving the two girls. "We should probably go," Dawn suggested.

"Okay, just let me get ready," May replied.

May left to get ready, then the girls decided to walk to school together.

"May, could you do me another favour?" Dawn asked.

"What is it?" May asked hesitantly, not wanting to cause trouble.

"Could you cover up for me again? I need to go somewhere and I can't let Drew find out," Dawn explained.

May let out an exasperated sigh. "Fine. But this is the last time," she finally said.

Dawn pulled her into a bear hug. "Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!"

"But you have to buy me ice-cream," May said.

Dawn giggled. "Of course."

"So where do you need to go that's so secret?" she asked curiously.

"Oh that, Drew's birthday is coming up and I need to buy him a present," Dawn lied, again.

"When's his birthday?" she asked.

"Next Tuesday," Dawn said casually.

"Cool!"

"Oh, May, please don't mention his birthday to anyone. That includes himself," Dawn pleaded.

She raised a brow. "Okay, but why?"

"He doesn't want his fangirls to find out," Dawn responded sheepishly.

"Oh, okay."

The school day went by quickly, nothing out of the ordinary.

"Drew, I'm going to May's house again!" she said, waving goodbye.

Drew nodded. "See you later."

The two girls walked together for a bit, before Dawn left on her way to the Team Cresselia Base.

A blob of purple hair caught Dawn's eye. She went after the figure, thinking it wsa Peter. Soon, she got a clearer look at his face. It wasn't Peter, it was Paul.

Dawn stared with eyes wide, and froze. Freaking out, she ran into the closest room.

"Who are you?" a deep stern voice asked, startling Dawn.

"My name is Platina," Dawn said, making up a random name on the spot. Her voice was clear and free from fear. In other words, it was the opposite of how she was feeling.

"Well then, Platina, what are you doing here?" the man asked.

Dawn spoke up, "I was looking for my piano class, I got lost."

"Is that so?" he asked, obviously not believing her.

"Yes," Dawn said confidently.

The man stared at Dawn, examining her. He finally spoke, "You're in the wrong place. I'm asking you to leave."

"Of course, thank you." Dawn walked out the door, just in time to see Paul turning the corner walking her way. She ran back into the room, closing the door, startled.

"Something wrong, Platina?" he asked, putting emphasis on her name.

Dawn started panicking even more when the doorknob started turning. All she could think was, Help!
