[Lucy:POV]

Natsu was, yet again, climbing through my bedroom window when my alarm went off this morning. Let me explain. It's not like I wanted to be up this early in the morning or anything like that, but

Erza demanded that I was to meet up with Levy this morning because she was meeting up with Gray, which I don't mind at all. Her and Gray would make the cutest couple ever, by the way.

I was tired of waking up to Natsu's stupid, beautiful face. Not that I'd ever admit that this face was beautiful or anything crazy like that.

Natsu had a crease in his forehead and a pink (it's not salmon. It matches the bubble gum pink colored pencil I had. I checked. Pissed him off to XD) eyebrow raised when I sat up and turned off my alarm clock.

"What? I can't wake up early on my own? Does it defy the Gods? Gasp! I didn't rip a hole in the time-space continuum, did I?" I asked sarcastically as I stood up from my bed.

"No… I'm just surprised that you didn't yell at me for not using the door." He said, scratching his BUBBLE GUM PINK hair. I rolled my eyes.

"It's not like you're going to listen anyway. Just knock on the glass or something." I said as I rummaged through my drawers.

"Whatever. Fine, I'll knock, but I don't see the point of it all. If it makes little ol' Lucy happy, I'll knock on your fucking window, alright." I smiled and turned around with my neatly folded clothes in my right hand. My left hand reached over and flicked his forehead.

"Ow! What the hell Luce!"

"Thank you very much! And if you plan to eat anything, eat last night's sweet and sour chicken." I said as I walked towards my bathroom.

"For breakfast?" He asked. I closed the door to the bathroom and started getting ready.

"Yeah! Just shut up and eat it! You insisted on buying so much!" I yelled to him. Natsu and I worked on the project after his basketball practice at my place. He insisted on buying a boat load of sweet and sour chicken, which he doused in enough hot sauce to make it inedible, for me anyway.

I dressed and walked into the kitchen. Sure enough, Natsu was staring eagerly at the microwave that currently heated his hot and soggy sweat and sour chicken. I rolled my eyes and poured myself a bowl of cereal.

"Hey! How come you don't have to eat leftovers!?" He stomped. He was seriously childish, and to think that he is one of the top ten students in all of Fairy Tail. He ranks one above e and it sort of pisses me off.

"I'm not the one the drowned the chinese chicken in hot sauce to the point where it was inedible!" He just blinked before he turned around and stifled a laugh.

"What?" I asked, hands on my hips.

"Pft... Did you call it... Chinese chicken? Pft...Luce, you're so childish..." He said with his hand covering his mouth.

"I'M CHILDISH? TAKE A LOOK AT YOURSELF, AND THEN TELL ME WHO IS CHILDISH!" I stomped… and realized that I was just as immature. I wouldn't go as far to say that I am childish, but I am pretty immature for being 16. Eh, whatever. He started it.

"I'm perfectly mature… ish. But that isn't the point. Everything tastes a billion times better with hot sauce."

"Is that why Gray is always insulting you about flames? Because you like spicy stuff?" I asked. It didn't seem to settle well with him for a second, but he just smiled. A big ol' grin, that was impossible to ignore. I smiled back.

"Well, not exactly. But it's something only Gray and Igneel know about. But Gray's stupid face, really pisses me off, so don't bring him up, kay?" His grin widened, which kind of made me want to pinch his cheeks. He was just so childish, and when he smiled, it made him look like a child. Yet, he still managed to look mature. GAH, HE IS JUST TOO CONFUSING!

"But if you hate him so much, then why does he know such an important secret?" it was confusing after all. They fought all the time, and insulted each other like they were mortal enemies. Some sort of blackmail maybe?

"Because he's my best friend, duh." DAMN IT! THAT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE! WHAT IS WITH THIS GUY!"

"Alright… so you hate your best friend? That doesn't make sense… at all…"

"That's right! You got it Luce! You aren't as stupid as I thought!" Now that stupid grin of his was not charming; it was plain annoying. He pisses me off.

"Whatever. Nimrod. Let's just get going. Levy is waiting for me." I picked up my bag from one of the chairs and pulled it over my shoulders. I slid on my shoes, and headed towards the door.

"But what about breakfast! You didn't even eat your cereal!" He yelled after me.

"You'll have to eat without me. I'm not very hungry and if I leave Levy waiting, Erza will definitely kill me. Just make sure you lock up, kay?" I said as I reached the door. He sat on the floor behind me. Bless my sweatpants.

"But I want to walk with ya. I wouldn't have came if I wanted to walk alone. Besides, you're pretty fun to be around, Luce." He smiled up at me. Damn him.

"Flattering won't get you anywhere Natsu. I'm not gonna stay so that you can eat breakfast." I said rolling my eyes.

"But I'm not trying to flatter you Lushy! I really, really mean it!" He whined. I sighed. Damn him…

"How about we stop and get breakfast on the way there? As long as we just stop in and take it to go, we should be fine. Only this once. Got it?" He jumped up just enough to hug me around the waste. So. Damned. Childish.

"You're the best Luce!"

"Just shut up and let's go!" He jumped and and clasps his hand around mine.

"Let's go!" He said as he pulled me from my apartment. I barely had enough time to close the door before he pulled me down the street.

"There's this new place that I wanted to try out with ya! I heard that it tastes delicious! I'm all fired up!" He pulled me so that I was walking beside him. He didn't let go of my hand, so I just held it back. Mavis, my face has got to be red, although, Natsu didn't notice. Or he just hadn't mentioned it. Either way, it was just as embarrassing.

"Where are we going?"

"You'll have to wait and see."

"Aww c'mon Natsu! I came with you didn't I?" I whined. Childish or not, he was being unfair.

"It doesn't really matter, 'cos I know you'll love it." He smiled at me. Natsu was wearing a deep green t-shirt which should've looked ridiculous on him with his oddly pink hair, but it just made his eyes look like obsidian, or black glass. Not that he looked upset or at a loss, just that his eyes were such a deep black, it's almost surreal.

He was also wore black skinny jeans and checkered vans. I don't really know how, but he managed to make it work. The scaly white scarf also adored its rightful place on his neck as it did everyday.

"Hey Natsu?"

"Hmm?" He hummed, looking at me through the corner of his eye.

"How come you always wear that scarf?" What if I sounded rude? We just met about a week ago. "If you don't mind me asking," I hurriedly added.

He played with the end of his scarf with his free hand. "Because it's important."

"Important how?" Damned this cursed rude mouth.

"How about this. If I buy breakfast, then you have to play a game." He changed the subject.

"Depends on the game." I answered simply.

"A game called Ask, Answer, and Tell!" (I'm not sure if this is actually a thing or has another name, but meh. Roll with it please) He smiled. Strangely enough, I've never heard of it.

"Ask, Answer, and tell?" I questioned skeptically.

"It's a game. You ask a question, I answer, and then you tell me something that nobody knows about ya , then it's my turn! We are best friends, aren't we?" He quirked a smile. I took a moment to consider it. On one hand, I really didn't want to tell anybody anything even if it was Natsu, but on the contrary, I wanted to know a bit more about him.

I sighed. "Alright. I'll play your little game as long as you promise not laugh and to tell the truth, got it?"

He held his other hand to his chest and faked a look of despair. "Why Lucy Heartfillia, who do you think I am! To tell a lie is a sin that should never be forgiven! And to laugh as someone is speaking; that is cruel!" I laughed.

"I think you're an idiot."

"That's funny because I rank one higher than you at school." He smirked cockly.

"Whatever jerk. Where are we going to eat?"

"Here," He said and pulled me into the small restaurant. There were a few kids from our school, but right now, I really didn't give a shit. This place was amazing. The ceiling was black, with little lights scattered everywhere to make it look like the night sky. It wasn't dark like you'd think it'd be, by the way. The workers here dressed like members of the zodiac, which by the way, was pretty awesome. The costumes looked in no way cheap. There were spiral stairs in the corner and a sign that read "Observatory" pointing upwards. Everything in here was star themed.

"Natsu…. I think I just died. Please write: Killed by, this! It's amazing!"

He laughed, and let go of my hand and then proceeded to open his arms out wide. "Welcome to Celestial Café, Luce!"

"How'd you find this place?"

"I ran into it one day and noticed all the star themed stuff, and then I remembered your room with all your weird star themed stuff and thought 'Hmm Luce would like this place' and me being great and all, was right." I would've yelled at him for insulting me, but I really didn't care about it right now.

"Well I do love this place, but if the food's no good, then I this awesomeness is a waste." I said, grabbing his wrist and pulling him to the register. We scanned the menu for nothing more than a minute.

"I'd like a star crépe please." I stated the man at the counter.

"Make that two." Natsu paid the man and we stood for no more than 60 seconds before they handed us our food.

"Thanks a billion!" Natsu yelled as we walked out. The crépe was amazing by the way. Natsu seemed to like it too.

"This is good! It'd taste better with some peppers though." He stated. I made a face, which he thought was pretty funny.

"Peppers? Gross Natsu." He just smiled and didn't say anything back. I took the last bite of my crépe as we made it to the gates.

"Alright Natsu, I'll see ya in class!" I yelled as I walked over to where Erza said Levy would be waiting. Sadly, I was stopped by none other than…. you guessed it, Lisanna! And the crowd goes wild -.- .

"What the hell is this Lucy!?" She yelled as she shoved her iphone in my face. My eyes adjusted to the screen. It was a picture of me and Natsu this morning at the café, just before he let go of my hand.

"It's a picture of me and Natsu." I stated, silently praying to Mavis that it doesn't go around the school. Lisanna wasn't the only one that obsessed over Natsu. He was the star of the basketball team after all. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a Natsu fanclub

"Yeah. Holding hands. Why the hell do you always fucking do this Lucy!? You always take them away! First fucking Loke, and now Natsu? What kind of whore are you Lucy?" Despite the venom in her voice, I could tell she was hurt.

"Look Lisanna. Natsu and I are just friends. I'm not out to get him. It also wasn't my fault that Loke liked me. I didn't date him, and I'm not dating Natsu." I said, trying to not sound rude. Just then, the idiot had to show up. And throw his arm over my shoulder. And say something that just made it sound like I was lying. Damn him.

"Hey Luce, you can come to my house later right? I forgot to ask." I literally died. "Oh hey Lisanna." He smiled. I could see the tears in her eyes, before she turned around and ran. I hit Natsu upside the head.

"Idiot." I said as I ran after her. Some how, I was hit with a strong sense of deja vu.
