Last time on Blood Curse: strange messages, also Riku's making a trip to see Kyoko. What exactly does she know and why was she warned by some guy who Natsu apparently hate. What does he have to do with fire and syringes? Also who's the person she fear the most? Also why is there a dark room? So many questions a lot more chapters to go.
Kyoko stopped as she heard the one voice she never thought she would hear in all her life. She felt a strong pain surging through her body. She fell to her knees trying to breath. She grabbed her chest and tried to take in air, but it wasn't possible. She could feel her organs twisting and her blood beginning to escape her veins and head over to their places. She coughed and coughed as it was making her throat ache with heat. She could feel her world spinning as she tried to grab on to something. She could barely see, but she thought she saw two people running toward her. She closed her eyes and could feel her body began to break the bones forming side. She wanted to scream but she had no air to take in. She could feel something she wasn't sure. She could feel the world begin to disappear. She was in a dark room again…
Flash back
She was in a dark room again just as she had been when she was little. She looked around and could find no source of light just bitter darkness. The old bed in the corner was harder than a rock (there are bed like that in case if you're thinking about it.), so she would sleep on the ground. The bed was rectangle, a twin bed with springs poking out from the mattress. She had a pillow and a thin blanket which covered her. The room would either be too hot or cold depending on the weather. Still she imagined and dreamed of the fairy kingdom in which she would be happy along the fairy's side. She would dance with the fairy prince and have a happy ending. The door opened and the tray was placed on the ground. She walked towards the tray and poked it, she continued to poke it and picked it up.
As she picked it up, she dropped it and ran towards the corner crying and shaking. She knew what it was and she wanted to know why it had been done. She wanted nothing of it and she wanted to run away. As the days passed, she would pray that she could be able to breath in the fresh air and be able to be free. She sighed as she heard the sound of chains from outside the door. She froze and cowards in the corner and chanting a small prayer that she hoped would allow her to disappear or at least seem invisible for the time being as she could still hear the chains becoming closer and closer towards the door. She began to cry but muffle her tears…the door opened and the light blinded her. She held on to the wall for her dear life and she wanted it to collapse on her as fast as possible.
The figure looked at her and smiled. The blood dripping from his mouth was enough to cause anyone to revulsion but the stench that came with it was unbearable. He approached slowly
"Come!" Came her voice.
Kyoko slowly stood up and walked towards the door and came into the hallway which she had always come through in order to do a chore for her. She followed and making sure to keep an eye on the things which watched her with hungry eyes. They arrived at a room and there sat a man. The man smiled and grabbed her arm.
End flashback
"Kyoko, Kyoko, are you okay?" asked a voice.
"What happened?" Kyoko asked.
"Something's coming." Ren said.
The silence was in the air, Kyoko stood up slowly and looked around. She knew it was close by, but she couldn't say from where it is coming. She could feel her heart rate slowing and her breathing becoming less and less. Ren picked her up and looked around him. He could hear it coming closer and closer.
"Tick tock, tick tock ….times running out. What shall I do but await and see as to what may happen to you, my dear little bird." Said a man's voice.
"Who's there!" Kanae yelled.
"Now, now. I come for a visit and nothing more. The girl I seek and a guest to please. Come with the roses or shall you lay upon your grave this night." He said.
"Enough!" Ren yelled.
Kyoko began coughing and could feel her heart beating double than its normal speed. She looked around and tried to grab Corn, which had somehow fallen. There was an echo in her mind.
"Leave the stone be. It won't help you at all, kill the pest and get it over with." Said Natsu.
"Co….Cor…n" she said with gasps as she fainted in Ren's arms.
The sound of thunder filled the air as the clouds gathered and he smiled as he stood a few feet away from them.
"The guest seek the girl and will take her back. Now, tick tock, the time is running fast, I must get her back before there is more feather to be brought and killed." He said.
"She's not going anywhere." Kanae said smiling
She took out nunchucks and watched him. Ren took Kyoko back into the house and locked the doors. Kanae looked at him and he smiled.
"You would fight for that girl?" he asked.
"What do you want with her?" Kanae asked.
"Now, now, do you know what happened to the cat for being so curious?" he asked.
"Answer the question." She said.
"Hahahahahhahahaha, my, my, what a fun little kitty you will be. Now we shall see who gets to play with the yarn first. I never did like cats. Not even the chesire one." He said smiling.
Thunder began to roar through the air and it began to turn pure black. He ran towards her like a mad man and trying to bite Kanae. She dodged and jumped a few feet in the air and she looked at him as she held her arm. She looked at her arm and then turned to him.
"Tasty. A bit sour but still good enough to eat."
"Sour?!" She said angry.
In a mental institution.
He looked out the window and cursed. He tried to get out of the restraints and he kicked the walls. Nothing was accomplished. He was going to kill all the doctors once he got out and he was going to kill that old man. He sighed and wondered what was taking Shouko so long to come and get him out. The door opened and Shouko looked at him and she couldn't help but crack up at him. He wasn't in the mood and looked at the orderlies and they went to his side and began to take the restraints off. He grabbed them and smashed their heads against the wall and looked at Shouko.
"What took you so long?" he said grinding his teeth.
"Sorry….um had to do a few things " she continued to laugh.
"What's so funny?" he asked.
"You violated that old man hahahahaha" she laughed.
"You think it's funny? I guess you won't mind me laughing when all the air is out of your body."
"It would be nice for a change." She said.
"Let's go. I've had enough of this place." He said.
"But you know you might need to get the old man "
"What, why?" he said still angry.
"He has a connection to her."
He seemed to freeze as a group of orderlies and nurses came and surrounded him(he powered up and became a super saiyan and his spirit bomb and blew them all up to smithering; nah just wanted to put that.) he seemed to be in thought when he brought out a small ball and he sigh as he let it fall to the ground. It hit the ground and smoke escaped it and went thought the whole entire facility. Screams were gathered as though in a chorus and sang out. Then died down after a few minutes. Sho looked at the remains of the once lively creatures that were called humans and stepped over the remains and left. They lay on the ground and death gathering their souls. Their flesh was sucked dry of any liquid it once held and black ooze coming out from anywhere possible.
A woman stood and sigh and sent the text that it was time to prepare and speed up the process even if it mean killing her off. She picked up her phone and sigh.
"There's no other chance but to start operation M.K." she said.
She hanged up and sighed.
"M.K now it begins." She said.
