Happy late thanksgiving to everyone. So here it goes and sorry for the long wait.^_^
Well welcome and how wonderful it is to see you all….well figuratively speaking. Now I hope you guys enjoyed reading so far. Well here is the next chapter, we'll see what happens with our tragic heroes, so now lets get going on to the summary.
Last time on Blood Cure: we find ourselves about to see a fight with Kanae against the hatter which was just a dream right? Also where Sho is in a mental institution; also what is that little ball he had. What does it mean? Also, what is operation M.K? So many mysteries to figure out. Now on with the show!
A woman stood and sighed and sent the text; it was time to prepare and speed up the process even if it meant killing her off. She picked up her phone and sighed.
"There's no other choice but to start operation M.K." she said.
She hanged up and sighed.
"M.K now it begins." She said.
The sun began to set and she sighed once again as she looked at the photograph of the group. The one she had come to know and which she purposely destroyed with her hands.
"Kyoko, I'll make you pay for what you did." She said.
Somewhere in England
"What was so important you needed me to be here?" Riku asked as he took a seat.
"Sorry, I needed you to come and see this." Said a boy who pressed a few buttons on his laptop and made a hologram appeared.
There was an ordinary town with people playing and talking mostly what you would find in any town. Then a figure stood and smiled and allowed the ball to fall to the ground. A black smoke enveloped the town, red eyes began to pop up from every corner and came out. The Moon Bloods looked at the newly dead beings on the ground. There were a few who were still alive and seems to have no effect on them. The people who were still alive ran and tried to hide, but the Moon Blood found them. The dead began to stand; they were nothing but skellington and dried up skin. They had no eyes and moved in a slow pace as in tune to music. They marched on to the town and began eating the villagers; screams filled the air as the children were turned to Moon Bloods; and the person who was orchestrating the whole even laughed and danced in the blood of the dead. The hologram went blank soon after and Riku took a seat.
"How could they get their hands on the prototype?" Riku asked.
"If I knew I would tell you. This was over a week ago. The problem is it was modified from its original state. I'm not even sure what it can do besides what you saw."
"Damn it all!" he said.
He slammed his fist to the table which was in front of him and sighed. He looked at the boy who continued to click away on his computer.
"Find everything you can about this and any other incidents."
"You know the only way to fix it is by using one of those two."
"Rou can use Ren all you want. I just want Kyoko left out of it." Riku said.
"You can't choose. You know that. In the end they will decide. You should hand this over to someone else. You are too close to it."
"How am I close to it? I know what my job is, and I will not steer from that path so don't worry." He said sighing and looking out the window.
"You can't save her. No one can…only she can save herself. Don't try to protect her too much or she might be using all of us for her plan." He said.
"She's not that type of person. She would rather kill herself than risk all our lives."
"Riku, just don't get too attached. In the end you'll be the only one hurt in all this." He said.
"I know keep me updated." Riku said.
He left the room and sigh as he got in the car and looked out the window. Could he save her or would it be as the boy had said? He thought and dozed off to sleep.
In side Lory's vacation house.
Ren needed to find a way out, he looked around and around the whole place was surrounded. Kyoko was still unconscious and seemed to be sleeping soundly. He wanted to call out but that was too risky. Maria came from the corner and came towards Ren, he was a bit confused but glad to see a familiar face.
"Come with me." Maria said.
They walked down a hall and then another and came to a huge room where there was nothing but bookshelf. It was a strange room.
"You can put her on the couch. I'll go find grandfather." She said.
He noticed there was something weird about her but ignored it for the time being and sigh. He went close to the window and noticed Moon Bloods staining and one of them had an arm in their mouth. He closed the curtain and sigh as he went to go look at Kyoko. She was still asleep and was breaking bearly. There was a clap from behind and he turned around. He never expected to see him.
"My, my, my, what kind trouble have you gotten into, little brother." Said the man.
"Brother. I thought you were back home." Ren said trying to not show his anger.
"I got bored and decided to come and play a bit. Also I wanted to see how my girl was doing."
"I said I was going to bring her back so why did you come?" Ren asked biting his tongue.
"Now, now, I know you still hate me for that. But we should get past it. Now give me the girl and all will be fine."
"Why do you want her?" Ren asked.
"Give me the girl. I'm tired of this and wish to head back home." He said.
"I'm not going to give her to you. I want to know why this girl is important to you."
"Sigh, Ren, you are my brother and I would hate to hurt you. Now be a good boy and hand her over." He said.
He stretched out his hand and waited. Ren smiled and looked at him.
"The girl's mine. You can't have her." He said.
His hair began to turn blond and his eyes began to turn blue.
"Ah, I see you came out to play for bit. It's been a long time, my old friend."
"Old friend? Ha! We were never friends. You used me to get what you wanted and nothing else. I suggest you head back home and play with your dollies." He said smiling.
"Ah, but I know one dollie you would love to see."
"You bastard!" he yelled.
He was angry but stayed in place in front of Kyoko. His brother smiled and took out an arrow and placed it on the ground. The ground began to shake and then a dark fog surrounded them.
"Up to your old games I see. You could never play fair."
"I would like to end this quickly, I have wasted enough time here. One last chance give me the girl." He said.
"Over my dead body." Ren said.
He stood and smiled as the transformation finished.
"As you wish." He said.
