Paul's P.O.V:

Troublesome girl. Everyone left the chat, I'm leaving too. I logged out of my account as soon as the others did. For some reason, they all logged off at the exact same time. Whatever, who cares?

I heard a noise and I turned around. I rolled my eyes. Seriously? They bothered sending an assassin after me? Pathetic.

So pathetic. He gave up as soon as I threw the first punch and ran off. I'd go after him, but why would I waste my energy on something like that?

I saw my watch beep red; I've got to head to the base.

"Take a seat."

"Why did you call me here?" I asked.

"I'm afraid something terrible has happened. I need you to go on a mission," my father said. I raised my eyebrows, he took this as a gesture to continue.

"The Diamond Pearl, it seems Team Darkrai have gotten hold on it. I need you to go get it. It's in their base. It's located underground, under the abandoned hotel near your school," he explained.

I grunted, "Easy enough."

I headed to the door, about to leave, until my father spoke up, "They've caught your friends." I tensed.

Why would Team Darkrai do something like that? My friends aren't of any use to them. But I still needed to save them, because... my father and Reggie would bother me about it. Yeah, that was it.

Alright, fine. They meant a lot to me, no one else had ever bothered approaching me. But I would NEVER admit it out loud.

I ran to the hotel near my school. It was rusty, old, and covered in cobwebs. I walked in quietly, blending in with the shadows.

Drew's P.O.V:

I heard the door creak open slowly.

Alright, we've got to time this right. Our lives pretty much depended on this.

I looked at May. She looked quite nervous, I don't blame her. I gave her a reassuring squeeze of the hand.

Someone stepped into the room, and started walking into the room slowly.

Alright, this was our chance. I turned to May, to give her a nod, until I heard more footprints. I tensed. No, this wasn't supposed to happen. Our plan won't work if there were two people coming. What do we do? Think Drew, think.

Leaf's P.O.V:

Great, I've been stuck here for who knows how long with Gary. It's probably only been a few minutes but it feels like it's been hours.

"So Leafy, wanna do something with me to pass some time?" Gary asked, wriggling his eyebrows suggestively. Obviously, he wasn't doing too good of a job keeping his end of the deal.

"No," I deadpanned.

He frowned. "Leaf," he hesitated.

"What?" I snapped.

He continued, "Did I do something?"

That question caught me off guard. Why would he ask something like that?

"Um, what?" I wanted to make sure I heard him correctly.

"Oh nothing. Don't worry about it," Gary said quietly.

"Oh, okay."

We sat in awkward silence for a while.

I spoke up, "No, you didn't."

Gary gave me a weird look, "I didn't what?"

I took a deep breath, "You didn't do anything."

He was confused for a few seconds until he realised what I was talking about.

"You heard that?" he asked quietly.

"Yeah."

More awkward silence.

"Why would you ask that?" I questioned. It was out of the blue, and I wanted to know why he would ask something like that.

We sat in more awkward silence. Great, I just made things more awkward for us. Agh, something happen!

I heard Gary speak, "I don't really know."

"Oh."

Agh! What is with the awkward silence?!

"So what do you think we should do to get out of here?" I asked, desperately trying to get rid of the stupid awkward silence.

"I don't know."

Gary was really quiet now.

As much as I hate to say this, I sort of miss playboy Gary.

I felt a breeze, making me shiver. I felt something being placed on my shoulders, it was Gary's jacket.

"Won't you get cold?" I asked, trying to compress a blush.

Gary shrugged, "You need it more than I do."

Oh, so he was trying to play cool? I knew he was cold, and it looked like he actually needed it more than me. I sighed, walking over to him. He looked at me with questioning eyes. I smiled slightly, placing the jacket back onto his shoulders.

"Aren't you cold?" He was genuinely concerned. I guess he wasn't as bad of a guy as I pinned him to be.

I sat down, with my back facing him, in front of him. I snuggled into him and wrapped him arms around me. He was so warm. I felt safe and protected and-

"Leafy, as much as I'm enjoying this, what are you doing?"

That sentence snapped me back to reality. I flushed a deep red, I'm glad it was quite am I doing? How could I, did I, I can't believe I just, what? Great, now I can't even think straight.

"Oh my goodness, what am I doing?" I panicked, trying to get out of his grip, only to find myself pulled back into his chest.

"Stay," he breathed.

May's P.O.V:

Drew gave me a reassuring hand squeeze. I could feel myself blushing. Damn him. I hated how he can do this to me!

I heard more footsteps. Wait, there were two people? Oh no, our plan isn't going the way we hoped. What are we going to do now?

I looked at Drew to see if he had any ideas; it looked like he was trying to think.

"Wait up!" I heard a faint, yet very familiar voice.

"Hurry up. We're going to get caught," the person in the room hissed quietly.

"Misty," someone said her name. I soon realised it was me.

The figure looked in our direction, "May?"

"Misty!" I ran up to her and gave her a hug.

Drew walked over, "April, any louder and you'll wake the dead."

"Ugh, stupid grasshead," I muttered, turning to Misty. "So do you know where we are?"

Misty shook her head, I sighed. That was when I noticed that Misty's hair was a bit messed up and her clothes were a bit crinkled, Drew seemed to notice too.

"Where you with Ash?" Drew smirked.

"Well, yeah. Why?" Misty replied.

"Looked in a mirror lately?" Drew said.

"What?" She looked down at her clothes and she also realised he hair was messed up.

"Oh my Arceus, you f-" Misty started, before Drew covered her mouth. Wait... what's going on here?

"Do you want us to get caught?"

Ash came running into the room panting, hard.

"Do you guys know how to get out of here?" I asked.

Misty shook her head, I sighed.

"I don't think she had time to find the exit. She was probably too busy with Ash-" Misty's mallet collided with Drew's head.

"For your information, we crawling through an air vent. Okay? We didn't do anything else," Misty said.

I groaned, "I have no idea what's going on, but we need to get out of here."

"No, you're not." The door slammed shut; we were locked it.

Paul's P.O.V:

What first, the Diamond Pearl or my friends? If I get the Diamond Pearl first, I'm going to get caught if I tried to save my friends after that. If I saved my friends first, they might do something to get us all caught.

There was a higher chance making it out alive if I saved my friends first, they'd better not get us into trouble. Now, where would they be?

I heard a voice and I stayed dead still, "Those brats tried escaping."

"Hah, like they stand a chance."

They must be referring to the others.

"I locked them up in Room. 24."

Could they be any more stupid? This makes everything a lot easier. Could it be a trap? Those idiots aren't smart enough for that.

I crept around in the dark, trying to locate this Room. 24.

Dawn's P.O.V:

There was a dim light coming from around me. I looked around, noticing I was tied to a chair. I struggled against the ropes.

"How was your rest, sweetheart?" It was the assassin who captured Drew earlier. He disgusts me.

"What do you want with me?" I yelled.

The pain on my left cheek finally registered after I got over the shock. It was going to leave a bruise.

He took a step towards me, "Quiet down now. We wouldn't want you getting hurt, now would we?"

His voice, steady; a cold gleam in his eyes. I gulped, I was scared out of my wits. But I couldn't show it.

"You haven't answered my question!" I yelled, ignoring his warning.

He slapped me again, growling, "Shut up."
