Yay for new favorites, followers, and reviewers! You guys keep me writing! Here's chapter 9- will Draco and Hermione be able to finish the list once they're back at school? Welllll let's find out! Enjoy!

The last few days of the summer vacation were like torture for Hermione. Her brain was ready to work and her body… well her body was ready for more Draco Malfoy.

As Hermione pulled her rolling bag through King's Cross station, she found herself looking around for the familiar white blond hair she had gotten so accustomed to seeing so regularly. Admittedly, she was disappointed when she did not spot Draco in the crowd.

"Hey, you!" a recognizable deep voice said cheerily from behind her, touching a hand to her shoulder. A smile spread across Hermione's face as she turned to face Draco, who was accompanied by Ginny, Harry, and Ron.

"Hey there, stranger, long time no see, huh?"

"I have to agree with you, that was probably the longest few days I've ever had to endure. I'm ready to get my brain working again." Draco said, running a hand through his white-blond hair. He left it adorably mussed and Hermione resisted the urge to smooth away the one hair that was out of place…

"Well then, what're we waiting for? Let's get a move on!" Ron said gruffly, barreling through the group and hitting them all with his many bags all emblazoned with R.W.

"We'd better make sure he doesn't kill anyone on his way to a compartment." Ginny mused, rolling her eyes as she began to roll her one bag behind her. Hermione chuckled and followed, Draco and Harry trailing behind.

"So, I take it you know that Gin and I are doing the same thing you and Hermione are doing?" Harry said to Draco in a low voice. Draco looked at Harry, slightly surprised and uncomfortable with Harry's choice to bring this up with him at all, much less in the middle of King's Cross.

"Erm.. yeah," Draco answered awkwardly, "Why do you ask?"

"Oh, I dunno, I guess I was just curious about much you've got left on the list?" Harry asked pointedly. Why on earth did he want to know the details of his sexual exploits with Hermione?

"Not too many, actually. Hermione has been uh… quite eager to complete everything." Draco answered, uncomfortable with giving much more information. True, he and Harry had become good mates, but he had never spoken to anyone about his sex life.

"Really? Do you ever have trouble… er… keeping up?" Harry asked, eyes downcast. Draco looked over at Harry. Was he really hearing this? The golden boy was having trouble performing? Although Ginny seemed the type who would never tire and never expect her man to either…

"Well, I think we both keep each other sweating, sometimes both of us need a break. Weaslette doesn't tire easy, does she?" Draco asked, giving a low chuckle as they boarded the train and followed the girls.

"She's unbelievable. I don't know how she does it!" Harry said under his breath, clearly embarrassed by this.

"Don't worry, mate. I've got a potion for that." He gave Harry a wink, and with that, they entered a compartment after the girls.

"Thanks, mate." Harry said, pulling his trunk in after hi.

"Thanks for what?" Hermione asked, sitting down. Ginny looked at Harry expectantly.

"Oh uh, it's nothing, you know, just about a class." Harry tried to play it off cool, failing disastrously. It didn't seem to bother Ginny too much. Draco sat beside Hermione.

"Okay, what is he really thanking you for?" she whispered. Draco smiled at her mischievously.

"Potter is having a little trouble with his own list." Draco said quietly, stifling a laugh as best he could. Hermione realized what he meant and couldn't keep herself from giggling.

The train pulled out and the friends played cards on a levitating table Hermione had conjured from the tip of her wand. Turns out Hermione's father had been a fantastic poker player and taught her from a very young age, so she beat them all by a landslide.

"It's a good thing that we're not playing for money, or we'd all be in severe debt at this point, Granger." Draco commented as she collected the cards to put away in her bag.

"Yeah, well, I'd have given it all back if we were. I have an unfair advantage, being raised in the muggle world." Hermione smiled. But she had to admit, it felt really good to be good at something other than studying and having people notice.

Just then the train pulled into the station and Hermione stood to get her trunk from the shelf above them, only to discover that Draco had beaten her to it. He was reaching over her hear and lifting her heavy trunk as if it weighed nothing at all. She admired the look of his biceps in his fitted shirt ad he lowered the trunk to the ground for her.

"Wow.. um hey thanks." Hermione said, snapping out of her daze.

"No problem, Granger, it's the least I can do." He told her, winking before he turned to exit the compartment. Damnit. Why did he have to be so damn cute?

Harry, Ginny, Hermione, and Draco all shared the same carriage up to the castle. Harry and Draco shared one side of the carriage while Hermione and Ginny caught up on the other side.

"So, are you almost finished?" Ginny asked Hermione, giving her a nudge in the side. Hermione rolled her eyes and looked at her red-headed friend.

"Yes, we've done most of it. Only a few things left." She responded. She couldn't help herself from smiling and blushing a little.

"Well Harry is slowing down quite a bit. I think he needs breaks far more frequently than I do," Ginny said, looking a bit put out, "Does Draco ever say no?"

Hermione didn't want to make Ginny feel bad, but the answer was no. Draco never turned down sex, and he could go a good three rounds in one session, energy never depleting. But she wasn't about to tell Ginny that.

"Oh you know, every guy has to have a break sometimes, Gin. You can't expect them to keep going and going." Hermione told her. Yeah, that would work.

"Okay, well that's good to hear." Ginny sighed, "So, you think you'll keep hooking up after September ends then?"

Hermione paused at this question. She hadn't even thought of what would happen between her and Draco after September ended. After the list was finished. They would go back to being friends, wouldn't they? That was what they agreed upon… it was no strings right?

"Oh, we're going to stop once we're done with the list. I don't want to screw up our friendship with sex, you know?" Hermione said quietly. Ginny gave her a skeptical look.

"Seriously? How cliché of you. Don't you think completing the list with him has already changed your precious 'friendship,' Hermione?" Ginny said. Well, she certainly had no problem being honest.

"No, we agreed from the start that we'd do this but not let it affect our friendship. We're still going to be friends." Hermione affirmed. Ginny clearly didn't buy it.

"Alright, whatever you say."

Although the conversation was finished, Hermione kept thinking of what Ginny had said. Had she wrecked their friendship already? Could they return to normal after September ended? She decided to push these thoughts from her head and focus on getting to the Great Hall for sorting.

The first night back in the dungeons was always weird for Draco. There was a dampness about it that took some getting used to, and he usually would lay awake for hours on the first night waiting for sleep to take him.

What I wouldn't do for Hermione right now… He thought to himself as he closed his eyes and tried to sleep. Her body curled next to him would be so comforting- warm and soft against him. He tried to imagine her there, and could almost smell her honey lavender shampoo as he fell asleep.

The next morning, Draco woke early and went up to the great hall for breakfast and a much needed cup of coffee. Sure enough, Hermione was sitting alone at Gryffindor's table, eating a bowl of cereal and drinking a cup of tea. A far few were up so early, only a handful from each house, and no one seemed too willing to talk. Draco glanced at his table, where one second year sat and then back to Hermione.

She looked up as he sat across the table from her.

"What are you doing at the Gryffindor table?" Hermione smiled at him.

"Oh didn't you see? I'm a first year, last night I was sorted into Gryffindor." Draco joked, pouring himself a cup of coffee. This made Hermione giggle.

"Oh well in that case, welcome to Hogwarts." She played along, trying to be serious, extending a hand of greeting to him. He took her hand and shook it vigorously. Her hand was so delicate and soft and he was sad at the loss of contact when she took it away.

"How did you sleep?" he asked in passing, taking the first decadent sip from his mug. There was nothing like coffee in the morning.

"Well it's always odd getting used to being here again, but once I fell asleep I was okay. That's why I opted for caffeinated tea this morning, though." Hermione told him, tapping on her own mug as she brought it to her lips. Her full, pink lips…

Snap out of it, Draco, are you still sleeping?

"Yeah, I have the same issue. Hence, the coffee for me." Draco responded, taking a large gulp. They fell silent for a moment while he served himself some eggs and began to eat.

"So, I was thinking we might schedule a rendezvous for tomorrow? We only have a month left, tick tock." Hermione asked him, tapping her watch.

"Ah, yes, I had one in particular that I'm excited to try." Draco said, perking right up at the thought of it. He had always wanted to get an under the table or desk blow job, and that was one of the items on Hermione's list. That was the one he was most excited to try out, and given that it was the beginning of the term, less people would be in the library, and thus they would be less likely to be caught. He told her of his plan and she seemed to be interested in it, agreeing right away.

"Strange how we're so close to being finished, isn't it?" Hermione asked him casually as they sipped on their beverages. Draco hadn't really considered the end of their sexual relationship since it began.

"Yeah, yeah, it is pretty strange." He answered her. He had an odd feeling in his chest thinking about her question and he wondered what it was that he was feeling. He knew they were going to go back to being friends, so why did he feel so weird about it all?

"Well, I will see you tomorrow in the library, then, I have to get to class." Hermione said, finishing her tea and getting up from the bench.

"Yeah, tomorrow. Have a great day, Hermione." Draco said sincerely as she waved and walked out. Draco decided to focus on his first day of classes and tomorrow's plans rather than the end of September.

Sorry no list items were crossed off in this chapter, I felt we needed this one though J Next chapter we get down and dirty again, no worries! Please review!
