Kikyan's POV

When I woke up, Eduardo was sleeping next to me peacefully. I smiled and softly got out of bed. When I was in the other ship, I had to get up really, I mean REALLY early… "I'll go on deck." I muttered to myself and changed my clothes. "See you later." I smiled at Eduardo and left his room.

The morning air was refreshing and the gentle breeze blew my hair back, reminding me of last night. I know I just met him, but it already feels like we known each other for years. My gaze drops to my hands. "This is what broke the chains…" I stared at my palm. People did say I had an unusual air around me. Was it the cold air? After all, I did use ice… Did mother have this? I wonder how she is right now… And father too… Maybe when they're not looking for treasure, I can ask Eduardo to take me back home… Wherever that is… I smiled as I remembered the memories I had with my family. That is, before someone came and kidnapped me… I sighed and traced the lines on my hands in boredom. Suddenly, an arrow appeared. "!" I gasped. It slowly started spinning around and pointed to the South. "Is this like a compass or something?" I asked myself as I looked to my right. I can see a ship coming this way! That ship…!

"Sirius Pirates! Hand over the girl or else!" A familiar voice boomed.

They're going to fire the cannons! "What should I do?" They're not even awake yet! I panicked and stared at the floating arrow. "Can I have a bow?" Sparkles blinded me for a split second and out appeared a bow and arrow. I grabbed it and pointed it towards the cannons.

"Kikyan!" Joshua exclaimed when he saw this.

"Don't fire! Or I'll shoot!" I shouted back.

"Don't be ridiculous!" He snapped.

"I'm serious!" I replied. "I'm tired of you killing innocent people!"

For some reason, he didn't fire the cannons. He was staring at my bow and arrow. Does he know about this power? He just froze. "Don't fire…" He motioned the crew to back away. He drew out a sword and came onto the ship.

"What do you want?!" I tried to be quiet so everyone won't hear. I don't want them to get involved…

"Come." He held out his hand. "We shall rule this world together."

"Not interested." I hissed.

"Why? Think of all the power you'll have! Everyone will follow your orders!"

"I don't care about that!" I snapped.

"How about this? If I win, you're coming back with me."

"If I win, you'll never touch a single person anymore." I replied.

"Fine!" He came towards me.

I took a nearby sword and blocked his strike.

"… You know…" We crossed our swords. "I didn't recall teaching you how to use a sword." He smiled evilly and I gasped. "Yah!"

"Ahh!" He threw me on the floor. "Oww…" I tried to sit up, but he got on top of me. "No!" I attempted to push him away. Instead he easily pulled me up and backed me against the wall, then he grabbed my wrists and pinned them above my head.

"Don't resist. And don't scream either, everyone will hear you." He started licking my neck.

"Ah! Stop it!" I hissed.

"I'm giving you a punishment for leaving my ship. And the fact that you joined the Sirius." He whispered into my ear.

"No…" I started crying as he brushed my hair out of my face. "Mmm!" He covered my lips with his and I tried to scream. I felt his hand running over my neck, going further down. "Mmph!"

"Kikyan!" A familiar voice exclaimed and I heard the sound of chains. "Get off her!"

Whoosh!

Joshua pulled himself far away from me and smirked at him. "So someone was awake, just when the fun was getting started…"

Nathan ran towards me and embraced me. "Kikyan! Are you okay?!"

"Nathan…" I whispered and buried my face into his chest.

"The hell do ya think you're doin'?" Nathan glared.

"Just wanted to have some fun." Joshua simply stated.

I felt Nathan tensing up. "You son of a -"

"Yo Nathan, who uses foul language in the morning? - Huh?!" Russell came out rubbing his eyes and gasped when there was a large ship next to ours. "Captain!"

"What?" Captain Morgan strolled out and stared at the ship. "Oh, shit…"

"Captain too?!" Russell sighed and drew out his swords. "Two people use foul language in the morning…"

"Why the hell are all of you guys yellin'?" Eduardo sounded pissed off.

"Three…" Russell sighed.

Christopher and Thomas ran out panting.

"We got here as quickly as we can…" Thomas apologized. "But I'm not that much of a morning person…"

"It's fine! It's fine! Let's fight!" Captain pointed his sword towards Joshua. "But first of all… Why are you on my ship?"

"I was taking back what's mine." Joshua smirked and glanced at me.

"I don't think so!" Nathan tightened his grip.

Eduardo's POV

"Can someone tell me what happened exactly?" I raised my eyebrows.

"Let's make this short…" The Captain smiled evilly at me. "I tried to make love to your sister."

I looked at my sister who started crying. "!" I became furious and reached for my gun. "Go to hell!"

(BANG)

"Huh… Bad tempered as always…"

"Shut your trap!"

"Eduardo calm down…" Christopher told me.

"I can't… Not when it's about my sister!" I clenched my fist.

"Go ahead. Fight me." Joshua spread his arms out. "I got a whole crew right behind me. Let's see who wins shall we?"

"You asked for your funeral!" I couldn't take it and fired another bullet.

(Bang)

Nathan's POV

"Kikyan, are you really alright?" I asked once the battle was over. It wasn't really over. It was a draw and we both retreated due to the damage.

"We're almost at the nearest port." Eduardo said as he steered, but I knew he was looking at Kikyan every once in a while.

"I…" Kikyan started. "I'm sorry… I caused all of this damage to the Sirius."

"Woman, you're sure weird." Captain said. "We can always fix this ship. So ya don't have to apologize. We right now care about how you are."

"Thank you, but I'm fine."

"Are ya sure?" Russell questioned.

"…" Kikyan looked at the floor. "I caused so much trouble and everything… I should have killed him when I had the chance…" She clenched her fist tightly.

"Forget about it. He's gone." Eduardo spoke up.

She took a breath. "Yeah… I guess…"

I looked at her with concern and held onto her until we arrive at the nearest port.

Russell's POV

"What the hell?!" I demanded. "We ain't payin' that much cash for that small damage!"

"That is not small damage. Of course it'll cost this much for repairs!"

"Everyone rips us off just because we're pirates!" I cursed to myself and threw my hands in the air.

"Russell?" A voice called.

"Huh? Oh Kikyan! What's up?"

"Haha, I could hear you from back there what's going on?"

I blushed thinking how loud I was. Well, at least Kikyan looks a little better. "Well um…"

"Did you find any shipwrights?"

"Yeah… But um… Too expensive…" I explained to her the whole story.

"They're totally ripping you off… Here…" I watched as she straightened herself up and walked over to the men. When they saw her they got nervous. The other guys gathered after Kikyan walked off.

"What's going on?" Nathan questioned first.

"Watch." I replied.

"I'm saying this one time so ya better listen." She said with a piercing gaze. "I want the Sirius to be repaired by sunset. Ya better not try to rip us off ya got that?"

"Y-Yes madam!" They all bowed to her and she threw a pouch of gold coins to them.

"Get to it then."

"Of course!" They all bowed again and ran towards our ship.

"Hahh…" Kikyan sighed and spun around. "! When did you guys get here?!"

"Wow…" Captain had his mouth hanging. "That… Was amazing!" Captain laughed and pats her on the head.

"! Captain!" Eduardo exclaimed.

"Anyway…" Kikyan blushed and looked away.

"Haha, did you guys see the look on their faces?" I laughed.

"Yeah." Kikyan gave a shy smile. It turned sad when she looked at the Sirius getting repaired. "I can't believe I caused that…"

Nathan walked over to her and pats her on the shoulder.

"Nathan?" She looked up at him.

"Don't be so hard on yourself." Nathan whispered to her. "It's not your fault."

"I hope paying for the repairs is somewhat enough." She muttered.

"What are ya talkin' about woman?" Captain gasped. "That's more than enough."

"Yeah, where did you get all that money Miss. Kikyan?" Thomas questioned with interest.

"Oh… I had this…" She simply said and stared at the ground.

Kikyan's POV

"I'm going to take a walk." I declared.

"Don't go far…" Captain smiled.

"Alright, thanks." I smiled back.

"Do you want someone to go with you?"

"I'd rather not…" I sighed and walked alone.

"Kikyan!" Nathan called after me.

"! Nathan!" I exclaimed and found him behind me.

"What are you doing in an alley?"

"…" I slowly sighed. "Just remembering how you found me…"

"… Oh yeah…" Nathan kicked some dirt away. "Not the same alley, but I guess it kinda reminds you huh…"

"Yeah…" I started walking, Nathan following me. "The reason why those shipwright people agreed to help is because everyone knows who I am. I was from the Black Death… Of course they would be afraid of me... I… Even recognize some people…"

"… Kikyan…"

"I…" I felt tears on the verge of coming out. "Those people… Lost some family members because of me…" I choked and Nathan circled his arms around me.

"Shh… It's okay…" Nathan soothed. "It's not your fault."

"…"

"If you want, we can leave this port quickly…"

"… Thanks…" Nathan took my hand and brought me back to the Sirius.

Third POV

"So that's why huh…" Captain rubbed his chin in thought. Everyone was in the Navigator's room listening to Kikyan's story.

"… Maybe it's better if I leave somewhere…"

"No!" Thomas cried first. (Not really cry)

"I mean because I'm here, this is what happened to your ship!" Kikyan sighed. "I'm causing all of you guys' trouble. This wouldn't have happened if I wasn't here… Don't get me wrong, I really like being around you guys…"

"Kikyan, we can protect you." Christopher said first.

"Yeah, I can teach you how to use a sword!" Russell said happily and tossed her a wooden sword.

"But…"

"Kikyan." Captain spoke up and smiled. "You are a member of the Sirius pirates. At least practice with Russell and if you still want to leave, we won't stop you…"

"Thanks Captain."

Kikyan's POV

"Oww…" I hissed.

"Sorry Kikyan." Christopher apologized as he was applying medicine.

"Sorry Kikyan, for being so rough on you." Russell looked at me sadly.

"It's fine… You really are a great swordsman…" I smiled and muttered under my breath. "Too good of a swordsman…"

"How is she?" Eduardo shot a glare at Russell as he came up to me.

"Fine, thanks to Russell I think I'm a little better at my sword skills."

"That's not what I'm asking…" Eduardo looked me up and down. "You look like you came from a war…"

"Haha, you didn't have to put it that way… But yes, I'm fine." I assured and he sighed in relief.

"Go take a break in our room."

"Alright. Thanks you two." I waved and left the room. I decided to stay for a little longer and the Sirius was leaving the port.

Several Minutes Later…

(Knock)

"Yes?"

"It's me Nathan."

"Come in."

"Feeling better? I heard Russell was giving you a hard time." Nathan was smiling, but his eyes weren't.

"Oh come on, I'm fine."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"Alright then. I bought you some food. Ya better eat it."

"Thanks."

(BOOM)

"What the-" Nathan looked out my window. "Tch…"

"Who is it?"

"Stay here alright?" Nathan grabbed his sickle and chain. "Don't come out until I tell you."

I nodded and he slammed the door on his way out.
