Nathan's POV

"What do I do? How can I save Kikyan? What should I tell Eduardo?" I shuddered at the worst case scenario. I rubbed my temples and groaned in frustration. And what about Soria?

"Nathan!" Eduardo shouted.

"Oh boy…"

"What are you doing out here? Did Soria already leave?"

"Y-Yeah. Something like that." I muttered the last part.

"Well, let's go then. We're about to leave."

"What?! NO!"

"?" Eduardo raised his eyebrows. "Why not?"

"Because…" I stopped.

FLASHBACK

"You have 3 days to figure out which one you want…" The Captain chuckled and turned his back to me, walking away, followed by the other crew. "Oh one more thing… Tell anyone about this and both are dead…"

END OF FLASHBACK

"Yo?"

"Oh, um… I haven't finish buying ingredients that I need. Can we stay for a day or three?" I asked.

Eduardo looked at me funny, then slowly nodded. "I'll see what I can do."

"Thanks." I gave a small smile and watched Eduardo turning on his heel, heading back towards the ship…

Kikyan's POV

"Uhh…" I groaned and slowly sat up. "What the-" I gasped. I was lying on an unfamiliar bed with each hand bound to the bed post. "Who? What?"

"Kikyan my dear you're finally awake…"

"You!"

"Now that's no way to treat your captain…"

"First of all, why am I here? Second, I'm not your 'dear'." I sneered in disgust.

"Kikyan… You changed a lot… You were the kind of woman that would kill, that would stand by my side."

"That was the past me. I'm different."

"Heh, Rome wasn't built in a day." Josh leaned over me. "You're still the killer that we all know and who the innocent fear."

"Shut up!" I hissed and spit in his face.

"Gah! You!" He slapped me hard in the face.

"Ahh!"

"You'll never be able to return to the Sirius." He hissed and smirked in amusement.

"…" I fell silent. "They'll find you."

"Ha! That's funny Kikyan!" He laughed evilly. "I already have a replacement for you."

"?" I squinted my eyes, filled with confusion. "What, replacement?"

"Someone that will take your place."

"I know that stupid." I muttered. "Who is it?!" I shouted.

"Heh, Soria."

"Soria?"

"Yes. You were pretty jealous of her when she was happily talking to your 'boyfriend', or should I say… Ex?"

"Ex?"

"Yes… Because of a special drink I let her give him; caused him to only be attracted to the one he sees first."

"!" I gasped in shock. Then…

Flashback

The port was so crowded that I lost sight of Nathan. "Nathan!" I called as I looked around. I found him talking with a woman about the same height as me. She had short blonde hair and had on a cute smile. She offered him a drink and Nathan took it. After a while, they laughed and I felt a pang in my chest.

End of Flashback

"You bastard!" I screamed.

(SLAP!)

"Ugh!" I started seeing stars.

"Don't you dare say that to your Captain."

"You, are not, my Captain…" I shut my eyes tightly, attempting to get rid of the dizziness. "My Captain wouldn't have hit me…"

"Sorry." He said nonchalantly and stroked the side of my face. Fear filled inside of me and then I felt the ropes binding my hands starting to freeze.

"Don't touch me!" I exclaimed and shot on ice arrow into his arm.

"GAH!" He yanked out the arrow and scowled at me.

I quickly jumped off of the bed and headed for the door.

"STOP!"

"Gotta get out of here!" I muttered to myself and headed for the deck.

"Hey, it's Miss. Kikyan. How are ya feelin'." Some of the crew members happily came towards me.

I froze. "Um hi."

"What's up? Why were you running?" One asked worriedly.

"N-nothing just…" I sped walked around them. "Taking a nice jog." I told them, feeling a bead of sweat running down my back.

They seem to have bought it, since they nodded and continued what they were previously doing. I sighed in relief jumped when I heard a booming voice.

"Men! Get her!"

"What's the matter captain?" Some asked.

"Don't question me, she's trying to escape!"

"!" I quickly ran. Maybe I can take a boat! Ohh… I don't have much time!

"She's over there!"

"! Damn it!" I hissed. Suddenly…

(BAM!)

"Captain! We're caught in a storm!"

"Damn it! We need to get out of here!" Captain demanded and then looked at me. "Come here."

"Get away from me."

"I said come here!"

"I said get away from me!"

(BAM!)

The ship shook violently, causing me to fall off the ship.

"Kyahh!"

"Kikyan!" Was the last thing I heard before plunging into the depths of the ocean…

"Mmm?" I slowly woke up and found myself on some isolated island. Looking around me, the waves were calm, the sky was blue, birds were cawing, it was… Peaceful. And… There's probably some sand stuck to the side of my face… But… Where am I?

"Hey, she's awake."

"…"

"Are you hungry?"

"How are you feeling?"

"Are you okay?"

"You been out for a couple of hours, are you alright?"

All these questions came all at once and I squinted from the glaring sun. In front of me were several men. "Who… Are you?"
