Stephanie must get smart, dig deep and carry on in order to catch her skips, help the FBI, recover from loss of a loved one, and decide what to do about a marriage proposal. Takes place after Top Secret Twenty-One. Babe and Cupcake friendly.

An AU story where Carlos/Ranger and Steph grew up together in Newark. They are separated for the first time as he attends Basic Training in Georgia and she's going to University at Rutgers. This is a Babe HEA, and probably a shorter multi-chapter story. Each chapter will have one letter each from Carlos and Steph to the other.

A time at which a decisive change in a situation occurs, especially one with beneficial results. Helping someone out without a thought serves Steph with an opportunity to escape from Trenton, but what will she run into.

Apparently, some things are universal, including a mother's hands-on efforts to help each of her children live their best lives, whether they want that help or not. It doesn't matter that one's child is a thirty-something, unmarried, former Special Forces soldier who would really prefer that she chilled the heck out.
