Aradia felt odd when she walked home. She felt odd being out in the morning in such conspicuous attire, hopefully no one noticed. She approached her house and found a bouquet of flowers in the mailbox, they were her favorite flowers, a twinge of fear struck her for a second before she went inside her house. "Mara! I'm home!" she called, setting the flowers on the counter. "Not so loud." Damara said sitting at the breakfast table in the kitchen, enjoying an orange. "Anything interesting happen while I was gone?" Aradia asked. "I would say that to you, some boy came looking for you earlier. He left the flowers behind I guess." She said examining the daises on the counter. "He looked familiar, what's his face. Captor? Right?" she continued rubbing her temples from the awful headache she had. Aradia's stomach dropped. Sollux had been over here? And looking for her? With flowers? Rare occurrences meant something was really wrong. She felt a tiny twinge of guilt for sleeping with Eridan now. "Well what did you tell him?" "That you were out with someone else" Damara replied cooly.
Aradia thought it over. At first she could only think: oh shit what have I done? After re-evaluating what Sollux had done to her and probably done with Feferi, she wanted him to suffer. Feferi was her good friend and she didn't want her to have her feelings smashed. She was much too delicate for such things. Aradia was not though, or so it seemed. "Thanks Damz" she said, giving her sister a hug. Damara knew something was wrong then, her sister never gave her hugs like that. She decided she had better not say anything however because if she knew her sister at all she would come to eventually. Aradia walked off to her room leaving the flowers abandoned on the counter.
She changed into a pair of grey sweatpants and a violet and black striped tank top, she picked up her laptop and spent the rest of her day surfing the web. She would take the day off and deal with everything tomorrow she decided.
