And two chapters in one day! I couldn't stop writing! Hope you'll like it!

Logan got home and literally ran towards the living room. It took him less than ten minutes to come back home, I guess I hadn't done such a good job trying not to scare him.

"Veronica?" He yelled on his way to the living room.

"In here…" I said breathing calmly, like if I hadn't have 3 contractions in less than 20 minutes. I could have driven myself to the hospital, but I wasn't sure how I would deal with driving while having a contraction. And Wallace and dad weren't living close enough to call them.

"What's wrong?" He asked me taking place next to me. I could tell he was worried by the way he looked at me so I put on my strong face. I wasn't going to let him see I was panicking and kind of scared for the next contraction.

"I think it's time…"

"Time for what? Are you hungry? Do you want me to go get you some pizza?"

"No, I think it's time for you to get me to the hospital…" I told him on the same tone I would tell him I was going to sleep.

"Hospital? Are you having the baby? Is there a problem? Are you in labor? Did your water break? Are you in pain?" Too many questions!

"I've had some contractions. Don't think my water broke." I tell him both hands on my stomach.

"Baby is coming! The baby is coming! I'm getting your suitcase and the car keys, don't move." Don't move, I can do that. He ran to the bedroom and took the suitcase we had prepared a month ago. He came back running just to get pass me and outside the house. My guess is that he was putting everything inside the car. I was right because he came back empty handed in the living room.

"We're having the baby!" He said smiling. He took my hand in his and helped me get up. Once up, I could feel another contraction coming by and immediately stopped moving and closed my eyes. I had learned to focus on my breathing, that it would help. "Veronica?" I was squeezing his hand hoping that would help me, which it kind of did.

"Contraction…" I told him whispering. He started to stroke my back holding me close to him to prevent me to fall. "It's gone." I told him relieved.

"Let's go to the car now…" He said helping me to walk.

"Logan? I've got a leak." I said joking. My yoga pant was getting wet as my water broke. "My water just broke…"

"That's normal everything is going like it should."

"Can you get me another pant? I'd rather go to the hospital feeling dry…" He smiled and run to the bedroom to get me another pant. He helped get the first one off and putt the second one on.

"Now let's go meet our baby!" He said and we went to the car.

He drove me to the hospital and got me checked in a single room in no time. I was amazed by what he was able to do when he puts his mind on it. The doctor had already seen us and said we would have to wait till I was ten fingers open.

"So, who do you want me to call first?" Logan asked me while stroking my back to help me feel better. Believe me, giving birth feels like hell! It's a good thing a little angle is going to come out of it because I don't think any woman would want to get through this if it wasn't for that little piece of happiness you got afterwards.

"Call dad and Alicia. They'll tell Wallace and he'll tell the others." I told him. I was just following the plan I had made in my head. Alicia and I had talked about how things were going to happen. She did prepare me for this.

"Okay." So he did he took his phone out of his pocket and dialed my dad's number. I found it weird to know my father's phone number was in his cellphone. Normal, but two years ago, I would have imagined that as being impossible. "Keith? It's Logan… I'm at the hospital with Veronica. Lora decided to make her big entrance today…" How cute. If I wasn't feeling ugly and in pain, I would have laughed at that. "Doctors say it can take a few hours but we figured we'd call you." A few seconds of silence on this side of the phone… "Yes, I'll see you later."

"So? What did he say?" He was hanging up the phone and put his full attention back on me.

"He'll be here in twenty minutes. Alicia, Wallace and Darrell are going with him." Great, more people to see me like this. "Can I get you something?" He asked me just before I got another contraction. I leaned forward to make it pass faster and he immediately started to stroke my back at the exact place it was hurting me.

"I thought woman on TV were always overreacting… Now I know there weren't!" I said between two breathe.

"I wish I could take all the pain away!" He said.

"I wish you could too!"

My dad, Alicia, Wallace, Darrell, Dick (I know right) and Parker were all in the waiting room waiting for Lora to come out. Mac had called in earlier to tell she shouldn't get out yet but that she was thinking about me and hoping everything would go as planned.

"You're ready to push now!" The doctor said all happy. I was feeling like punching her in the face. Her smile made me even angrier. I was all sweaty and out of breath and I still had to push! "Logan you have to wear a blouse and clean up a bit if you want to come with us." She told him throwing away her cloves.

"No problem. I'd get naked if that what it takes for me to be there when my baby comes out!" He said meaning it.

"That's how we got here!" I told him. I had told him earlier not too listen to me till the baby got here. The closer the contractions were, the worse I was feeling and the angrier I got. They moved me to another room where I saw another nurse. Logan got out of my sight for a second and came back wearing a yellow blouse over his clothes.

"So, when you feel the next contraction come start to push!" She told me. Push, try to push when you can feel your body from your stomach to your feet!

"You can do it sweetie." Logan whispered in my ear taking my hand in his.

"That baby better be worth it!" I said and started to push feeling the next contraction arrive.

"Push! Push! Push! Don't stop! Push!" The nurse said standing at my right side.

"That's what I'm doing!" I yelled at that stupid nurse. What does she think I'm doing? Having a cocktail on the beach? Logan looked at her trying to tell her not to listen to me with his eyes.

"Great. You're doing great Veronica." My doctor said. "I can see the top of her head. But you're going to have to push harder."

"Push harder? Why something wrong?" I asked panicking.

"Her umbilical cord is around her neck. It's nothing bad, we just need to get her out a little bit faster." Logan took a look beneath too see what the doctor was talking about.

"Okay sweetie. Look at me. You have to push as hard as you can. Push with everything you have inside you." He told me looking me straight in the eyes. Push with everything I have.

"Push, now!" The nurse said looking at the monitor. So I did. Even if I was exhausted, I pushed with every bit of strength that I still had inside of me. I pushed, and pushed till. I didn't stop till she got out. The doctor took her away from a few seconds.

"There she is! And it's certainly a girl!" The doctor said.

"You did it Veronica! You did it!" Logan said kissing me forehead.

"Is she okay?" I asked holding my breath. I heard her cry and I knew she was.

"You've a perfect little girl here!" The doctor said as she brought her back to me and putted her on my belly. She was so tiny and purple. Yes purple, but she was already becoming more pale and pink as she was breathing better now.

"OMG! She's perfect!" I said looking at my little baby girl.

"She's perfect! Just like her mother!" Logan added kissing me.

"So, how do we call that little girl?" The nurse asked us. I looked at Logan to let him say it out loud before focusing back on the perfect little think that was resting on me.

"Lora Lilly Echolls." He said proudly.

"Do you like that little angel?" I asked to that little thing. She was moving her arms and took her hand in mine. It was so tiny she couldn't even fully hold one finger inside her hand.

"I think she likes it." Logan said stroking her on the back. "She's so beautiful!"

"I know. I think she likes it too." He looked at me, with tears in his eyes.

"Thank you Veronica." He said and kissed me again, softly. "I love you."

"I love you too." I replied.

"And I love you too little baby girl!"

"I know right! She just got here and I already like her more than anything!" I said to that little miracle.

"I know the feeling."

Logan got home and literally ran towards the living room. It took him less than ten minutes to come back home, I guess I hadn't done such a good job trying not to scare him.

This chapter was way longer than my previous ones. I hope that's going to make up a bit for the lack of updates. But I should get my diploma this year and I have a lot to do for school… And I have to admit, I wasn't really inspired to write lately. I hope you'll enjoy this chapter. I'll try to write another chapter tomorrow, but I can't promise you anything. Don't forget to review!
