Disclaimer: If I owned KHR, every character would just fall for Tsuna's adorable self instead.

The last chapter was about the time Kusakabe first met Tsuna. He was having a panic attack as the four of them - Byakuran, Mukuro, Hibari, and Tsuna - ignored him. He did get to introduce himself to the brunette at the end of the chapter though.

Recap from Chapter 4:

The group meets up for dinner at Byakuran's place. They somehow ended up in a human pile at the bottom of the stairs and then dinner starts. Seating arrangements for dinner are also introduced: "Once the rowdy group of teenagers filled the medium sized, round, wooden table, Tsuna brought out the food and sat down next with a tall, black-haired, and brown-eyed male who sat to his left while there was a boy with silver hair and jade green eyes to his right. Hibari sat reluctantly next to that silver-haired boy with Kusakabe next to him. Mukuro sat between Kusakabe and Byakuran while Byakuran was next to that black haired boy."

Chapter 8:

"ITADAKIMASU!" They all started chowing down on the delicious food prepared especially for them by their precious Tsuna. Soon, the whole house filled with raucous laughter, yelling, and screaming. They didn't need to hold back on the noise; the neighbors are all either too scared of them or just don't care anymore. But of course, they also praised Tsuna for his amazing food as always. Definitely can't forget that.

"Your cooking is the best, Tsuna-sama!" the silver haired male with green colored eyes, on Tsuna's right, exclaimed. His sparkling eyes were directed towards the brunette.

"Haha. Hayato's right, Tsuna!" This time, it was the black haired male on his left. He laughed good naturedly with a wide grin. He ate enthusiastically.

"Thank you Hayato, Takeshi." The two received a sweet smile from the brunette and blushed. No matter how many years they've known him, they still couldn't go against the cuteness that is Sawada, Tsunayoshi. Especially when he's smiling so genuinely at them.

"Kufufu~ Lovely as always, Tsunayoshi-kun."

"Hn…. Get your hands off my food, Pineapple."

"Kufufu. What if I say no, birdy?" Teasing is also a normal part of the daily meal.

"I'll bite you to death!" Cue glare from the chef. "...Later."

"Tsu-chan, you should marry me~ That way, you can cook for me everyday~" Byakuran reached out for a hug, but was pushed away by Takeshi while the others glared murder at him. If only looks could kill.

"I already cook for you everyday."

"But it's not enough~" Byakuran pouted when Tsuna ignored him.

"BYAKURAN YOU BASTARD! DON'T YOU DARE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF TSUNA-SAMA!"

"Kufufufu. If he's marrying anyone, that would be me."

"Haha! You're all dreaming aren't you? There's no way Tsuna's going to marry any of you."

"I'll bite you all to death."

"Cough. Thank you for the food, Tsuna-san. I need to head back to patrolling so I will take my leave now. See you tomorrow Tsuna-san, Kyo-san," Kusakabe - who was pretty much forgotten in the middle of the things again - announced after he brought his dishes to the sink.

"Ah. You're welcome Tetsuya-senpai. Thank you for the hard work and see you tomorrow."

"Hn," was the typical reply Hibari would give to almost everyone. Just the fact that he even bothered to answer showed how much he valued his vice chairman and cousin. Kusakabe bowed once before he left.

"Now, everyone," with that, it went silent and they all had their attention on Tsuna, "Let's finish the rest of our food in a more peaceful manner, shall we? And then we can start our meeting~" He was displaying a much-too-sweet smile by now and the rest of them couldn't help but shiver and nod (Yes, even Kyoya). "Good."

The rest of dinner went by in relative peace. They were and are always going to be a rather rowdy bunch, after all. And Tsuna actually quite liked that part of them - minus the property damage that is - so he allowed them to continue. But even his patience has a limit, that's why he warned them at first. It didn't sound much like a simple warning but they know him well enough by now to understand what he meant.

When they all finally finished eating and cleaned up, they finally started their meeting. It wasn't like they couldn't start earlier, during dinner. However, Tsuna liked to enjoy dinner with his precious family without all the work related or unpleasant things in the way. The others were of the same thought with him on that one. If not, then they caved in rather quickly to the somehow very threatening sweet smile like the one the brunette displayed at first. Or the puppy dog face. Which one he used on them depended on his mood at the time. And either one would be enough to make any one of them do whatever Tsunayoshi wanted them to do.

"So. Reborn has arrived already. Hayato, Takeshi, I want the two of you to continue acting distant for now. But I'd still like to see the two of you for dinner a few days a week. Even if Reborn finds out, that doesn't matter. From the very beginning, the one we want to trick isn't Reborn but everybody else. I don't think we could fool him for long anyways so why waste the effort? Besides, it might actually be better that he knows not to touch my family." A streak of protectiveness was brought forth by this. The others couldn't help but feel elated and honored by this.

"Yes Tsuna/Tsuna-sama!" the two he was speaking to spoke in union.

"Mukuro, any news from Chrome-chan?" he asked the pineapple head this time. Chrome is Mukuro's younger sister. She had escaped the Estraneo along with her brother and a few others and then later came to Japan with him. They were all living together at the run down Kokuyo Park for a while before they met Tsuna. A few months ago, she and the other escapees left to gather more information for the brunette. Mukuro was reluctant to let her go without him, but her determination convinced him. Besides, she - who was so shy and obedient - has now grown up to be a more independent and confident young lady. She has her scary moments too. If she felt she was being coddled by her brother again, she might skin him alive. He also has his own role here, by Tsuna's side, to fulfill so he can't go with her even if she let him. Needless to say, Mukuro's only two weaknesses were his precious little sister and his adorable little bunny. Only they could have a semblance of (or complete) control over this playful mist.

"Kufufufufu. She's currently in Italy with Chikusa and Ken. They say the Varia are planning something. It's most likely related to the release of their boss."

"Hmm… That's probably it. I'm guessing they found out how to thaw him out. They just need to find a chance to do it without the Ninth noticing. But even if they do, it'll take a while for Xanxus to recover before they can come challenge Tsukiyoshi. Not like that'll do much to our plans, it might even help us. Have Chrome-chan stay for a few more days to see if they succeed and then she should come back."

"Kufufu. Of course, Tsunayoshi-kun~" Although Mukuro was disappointed and a tiny bit worried that his sister would not come back immediately, he trusts Tsuna's judgement and Chrome's strength.

"Alright. Moving on, Kyoya," Tsunayoshi turned to address Hibari this time.

"Hn."

"With Reborn here, it's going to be chaotic here. Good luck with controlling it, but don't kill Tsuki yet, he's still useful."

"Tch." Kyoya sulked at the idea of that insect causing trouble in his Namimori and being unable to give him the right punishment for it. Of course, there's also the reason that the being lesser-than-a-herbivore had abused his little animal in the past. That's actually a big part of it and he was sure the others think the same way. They all had rather murderous expressions on like they read his thoughts, after all.

"Haha! Don't be like that, Hibari! We know how you feel, but Tsuna's right. Once he's useless, you can have at him!" Takeshi was laughing good-naturedly as he said these ominous words.

"Um. T-Takeshi?" Nervous twitch.

"Hm? What is it Tsuna?" Bright smile.

"N-nevermind."

"Ok! Haha!"

"Tch. Stupid Baseball idiot," the puppy muttered.

TBC.

A/N: So this is actually a bit shorter than I would like it to be. But I wanted to post something already so here we go. I might come back to edit this later. Anyways, I wanted to ask if the descriptions during the dialogue are too distracting. I just like adding in a bit of the character's own thoughts in here and there. So…. Please PM me or REVIEW~ So I know what you think. Thanks for reading~
