"He's just using me huh…" I muttered as I was still pretending to still be talking on the phone. For some reason, hearing him say that hurts… Even though I was simply using him also… I can't love someone… Now… I have to find out more information about Le Renard Noir. There must be a connection… This bar is called Le Renard Noir. So were the thieves… And Le Renard Noir… Means… "!" The Black Foxes! This has to be the connection! But… "This doesn't help with why both thief groups were enemies…" I muttered unaware that in the future, I was going to make the same mistake as my grandmother…
A FEW DAYS LATER…
Takara's POV
Takuto and I hung out with each other more. Mainly for studying, but whatever… I know it's wrong, but I kept it from the other girls. They might think it's wrong, but I can tell that just by looking at Takuto, he's really interested in the history of these thieves.
"Takara?" Ryo tapped my shoulder.
"Huh? Oh, what's up?" I glanced at the others.
"As a hacker, you shouldn't be spacing around like that…" Ryo clicked her tongue.
"I'm sorry…"
"No matter… Just don't do that at future missions."
"Yes, ma'am."
"Anyway…" Ryo glared at me for calling her ma'am. "Why don't we all take a break tomorrow?"
"Can't, work." I answered immediately.
"But it's the weekend…" Kohana muttered.
"Hey, it's not my choice…" I replied.
"Girl, you gotta hang out with us sometime. It's as if you're making up an excuse just so you can hang out with your boyfriend." Boss stated with a smile.
"Tch, I'll do that when I get one, thanks." I said sarcastically and started packing my laptop.
"See you later then?" Hikari plopped on the couch looking at me.
"Yeah sure. Bye." I waved and left quickly.
Takuto's POV
"There you are, what took you?" I questioned when Takara was now walking beside me.
"Um… Held up for a while. I wasn't that late you know…" Takara sighed, most likely still out of breath from running.
"Hmm… about 2 minutes and 45 seconds." I smirked.
"Ugh…" She playfully rolled her eyes at me. "'Takuto the have-to-be precise programmer'."
"That's me." I smiled in return and handed her a bottle of water. "Here, looks like you need it…"
"… Thanks…" She smiled and we both blushed when our hands touched. "S-Sorry…"
"U-Um… It's fine, don't worry about it."
"S-So… To the usually?"
"…No, we're going to my house."
"Huh?!"
"Y-you know… Maybe we'll have better luck if we're in a different atmosphere…" I blushed.
"O-oh, alright…" Takara blushed as well and I quickly led her to my house…

"Wow, it's amazing!" Takara happily looked around the minute I unlocked the door.
"Come in, don't just stand there." I gently pulled her by the arm. "Here's the room we'll be in." I hung a 'do not disturb' sign on the door and saw Takara's mouth hang open.
"What?"
"That's wrong…"
"Huh? Oh!" I blushed harder and removed it. "No one will come here anyway, let's just start researching… Do you want anything before we start? Coffee or tea?"
"Coffee please."
"Alright, be right back, can you start the computers?"
"Sure."
"Thanks." I left and after the coffee was ready, Takara and I started researching right away…

"So far, we have no luck…" Takara sighed in annoyance about two hours later. "But it does make sense since they existed many years ago…"
"But they should have at least 'something' about them…" I replied, typing away. It would have been a lot easier if we found Hoshiko's granddaughter… Wait a minute…
FLASHBACK
I was behind the shelf, pretending to find a book when I saw a familiar name. "Huh?!" That book that she was holding had Hoshiko on it. That's the name of the Japanese Leonardo Da Vinci… Why does she have it?! She didn't steal it did she?!
END OF FLASHBACK
"Takuto?" Takara waved her hand in front of me worriedly. "What's wrong?"
"Takara, where's the book?" I asked.
"What?"
"Where's the book?!" I demanded.
Her eyes were filled with confusion. "What are you talking about?"
"You know what I'm talking about…" I stood up quickly.
"!" She jumped and backed away from me. "No, I don't."
"I know you have it, I saw you about a week or two ago… I saw you hiding that book." I backed her into my book shelves.
Takara's POV
"!" What the hell is he talking about? I tried to get away, but he came onto me fast and pinned me by my wrists. "Ahh! T-Takuto?" I looked at him nervously. When did he become this aggressive? "What's the matter with you?"
"Did you steal that book?"
"Takuto, what book are you talking about?"
"You know what book I'm talking about… The one with Hoshiko on it."
"!" My eyes widened. "How… Do you…"
"I was there the whole time. I followed you into the library. Now explain why you have it."
I swallowed. "You… Followed me? Why?"
"Don't change the subject."
"Answer me! Was I some kind of suspect to you?"
"…" Takuto just stared at me.
"But then again, you were just 'using' me weren't you?"
"What?"
"I heard what you said to your friends. That you were just using me." I stated.
"…"
"So it's true then." I looked away. My eyes started stinging. "What made you think that I would be able to help you? Most importantly, why do you wanna know about Le Renard Noir and the Renard Ecarlate-?" I gasped and shut my mouth.

"The Renard Ecarlate?" Takuto raised his eyebrows as he stared at me. I quickly looked down and he brought my face to his. "Who are the Renard Ecarlate?"
"…"
"Answer me."
"…"
"Takara…" Takuto sighed.
"They… That's the name of the enemies of Le Renard Noir…"
"… I see… So you do know something…" He muttered and I looked at my feet.
"Can you let go of me now?" I questioned.
"No, not until I know where the book is."
"I don't have it with me…"
"Where is it?"
"…" I can't tell him where it is… It's actually in my room in the hotel the others and I are staying in. Locked up in a drawer. "I… I can't tell you."
"Why?"
"Why do you even want it? What are you going to do with it if I give it to you?" I slowly glanced up and Takuto's lips crashed into mine. "!" What…? I tried to pull away, but Takuto's strong grip held me there.
Takuto's POV
For some reason, I couldn't hold back and kissed Takara.
"!" I felt her tense up.
Slowly, I closed my eyes and thought about the things I said to the others…
FLASHBACK
Takuto's POV
"You take a liking to her or something 'Takkun'?" Riki raised his eyebrows with interest.
"… No…" I replied. "She's just helping with researching."
"Ouch." Hiro whispered. "But judging by her looks, it seems as if she's into you."
"Tch, as if." I snapped. "I'm not interested in her. I'm just using her."
"Hahhh…" Riki took a nearby seat. "You're becoming like Hiro. Making women fall for him simply for gathering information."
"So? I have a reason."

Takuto's POV Still…
Was I really using her? I was at first, but… How do I really feel now? It makes me frustrated when I don't know… I slowly pulled away and looked into her eyes. "…"
"…" She stared back at me with confusion and shock. "I… I have to go." She quickly pulled away from me, grabbed her stuff, and ran out the door.
(Door Shuts)
"…" I turned around and stared at the door in silence. Am… Am I still using her? Or am I…? No… That cannot happen… I thought and continued our research, alone…
FEW DAYS LATER
Takara's POV
It has been days since I last saw Takuto. I couldn't help, but wonder why he kissed me… I would blush whenever I think about it.
"Something wrong?" Ryo questioned as she sat in front of me.
"(Sigh) Nothing, why do you ask?"
"Don't seem like nothing to me."
"Well… Just… Got a lot on my mind right now."
"I see… Is it about our missions or… Something else?" She raised her eyebrows at me.
"Hmm… Well, there's this guy at my work. I didn't think he was at all interested in me. But recently, he became more…"
"More…?" She repeated, indicating for me to go on.
"Not like himself." I said quickly and Ryo gave me a blank stare in addition with confusion.
"What's wrong with that? People change once in a while…"
"Yeah I know, but… At first he was more like… Someone who doesn't easily open up to others… But now, he's more like… A total opposite."
"Takara…"
"I know, I shouldn't get involved with guys or anything… But I'm just… concerned about him. Not in a love concern, just… Concerned…" I said.
"…" Ryo scratched her head. "I'm lost."
"Sorry about that." I bowed and headed for the door.
"Where are you going?"
"Ehh… Just walking around I guess…"
"Remember, we have a mission tomorrow."
"Of course, see you later leader."
"See you." Ryo smiled and I left.
Hiro's POV
"Hey Takkun!" I waved happily as I walked into LRN.
"…Hey…"
"What's the matter? A certain girl dumped you?" I nudged him.
"I told you! I'm not in that kind of relationship with her!" Takuto sighed and banged his head on the table.
"Then how come I don't see her anymore?" I questioned.
"Maybe she's trying to run away from you…" Takuto smirked.
"Course not! Takara wouldn't do that!" I replied. "Would she?"
"Takkun's just pulling your leg Hiro…" Riki came downstairs and sat on a stool.
"Anyway… I'm gonna go home." Takuto started packing his laptop.
"Already?" Boss questioned.
"Yeah, you just got here." Kenshi added.
"You guys are annoying, I'm leaving." Takuto huffed and left.
"… What's his problem?" Riki scoffed, even though we all know that he is really concerned.
"He'll come back when he's ready to talk…" Boss said.
"Really? I can't really see him doing that…" I replied with a shocked face. "Anyway, I'll stop by his house on my way to school."
"But you don't have classes today do you Hiro?" Riki asked.
"No, but I forgot my project there. A lot of my other classmates are there so I'll be fine. See you!" I sang and strolled out the door.
"Tch, just like a kid I tell you…" Riki snickered as I left LRN.
As I was almost close to Takuto's, I stopped when I saw a familiar figure in the park. "Maybe I can find an answer by asking…?" I muttered and approached the figure. "Hey Takara-"
"… Hoshiko…" She stared at her computer screen and I froze.
"Hoshiko?" I hid.
Takara looked around to make sure no one was around her. I quietly went behind a bush and looked over her shoulder.
"? Huh? YAH!" She threw her computer up in the air, spun around, and kicked me thankfully not in a certain area…
"Ow!" I hissed and watched as she caught her laptop without looking.
"(GASP) Hiro! Are you alright! I'm so sorry!" She hurriedly put her computer away and helped me up.
"I-It's fine… When did you learn those kind of moves?" I questioned while rubbing my arm.
"Forget about that, let me see your arm…" She gently took my arm in her hands and stared at it. "!?" She blushed and looked away. "It's fine…"
"What's the matter? Oh, never touched a guy before?" I smirked.
"S-Shut up you pervert!"
"Heh, shouldn't you be the pervert, since you were touching me…"
"Well… I-I wanted to make sure you were alright… That's all!"
"Heh, I see…" I smiled. "Um… Can I ask you something?"
"What is it?" She looks at me curiously.
"Well… You see um… Takuto's been acting funny and I was just wondering if something happened…"
"…" Takara looked away and kept her mouth shut.
"I take that as a yes then?" I raised my eyebrows.
Takara's POV
"Well…" I started. "Um… Before that… Can I ask you something?"
"Sure." He smiled at me and sat next to me on the bench.
"Thanks." I smiled back and took a breath. "What does it mean when a guy takes you to his house, talks to you for like hours, but then all of a sudden pins you to a shelf and kiss you?"
"? ? ?" Hiro thinks for a minute with a funny face. "I wouldn't know… That never happened to me before. At least I hope it doesn't…" He shudders.
"Sorry…" I laughed slowly and stared at the ground.
"But…" He said and pats me on the shoulder. "It can only mean one thing."
I looked at him. "And what's that?"
"It means…" He smiled and started walking away. "That Takuto is in love with you."
"!" I gasped at the fact that he figured it out. Was I that obvious? But… Takuto… In love? With me? I glanced back at Hiro to find him already in a crowd of people. Hiro's just joking right? There's no way Takuto could be in love with… I thought back to when his soft lips met mine. I blushed deeply and shook my head hiding my red cheeks. "Anything's possible…" I sighed, painfully aware that I am in love with Takuto… I sighed yet again and headed to the place where this all started… Le Renard Noir…
