Eve was a bit suprised that Amy had initial trouble learning the oil rig. Being from Texas Eve assumed that Amy was more familiar with oil drilling. That night at dinner Amy and Eve talked some more. Amy told Eve of rumors. People were nervous, more than they'd been since immediately after 2/4. Riots in the streets, massive arrests. Both sides were just scared about ELE. Things would calm down after ELE was stopped. If it wasn't fighting would increase. Then Eve rememered, 750 days until impact.
When Eve left the Ark site in August 2033, she never really expected to see Jessie again. Similarly, after being arrested for Karen's murder, she never really expected to see Amy again. She certainly didn't expect them to meet each other. And yet, here they all were together. On the morning of July 2nd, 2034, during breakfast. Eve introduced Jessie and Amy to each other.

Eve: Amy, ths is Jessie. Jessie, Amy.
Amy: Jessie? Your ex-boyfriend?
Jessie: That would be me. We had a summer romance last year.
Amy: Interesting. I'm Eve's ex-girlfriend.
Jessie: Grilfriend? Like...
Eve: Yeah. We used to date.
Jessie: That's cool. That Ark we worked on was summer camp compared to this.
Amy: I get that. They go out of their way to keep us isolated from outside news. We have to rely on rumors, new arrivals.
Eve: I'd prefer to avoid those rumors. If there really is fighting out there, I'd prefer to stay out of it.
Amy: Fair enough. But it's nice to see a familiar face.
Jessie: I agree. I think the three of us should agree to keep things civil, regardless of whether anything, romantic, should occur.
Eve: You're talking about me, aren't you?
Jessie: I like you Eve. I would prefer to re-kindle our relationship. But if you choose Amy, I'll settle for your friendship.
Amy: That sounds fair. Okay, I'm in.
Eve: I don't have a crystal ball, but yeah, let's keep things pleasant.
