Tuesday August 1st, it was a big day for Eve. If she followed Colby's plan, this was the point of no return. Eve felt bad about this, neither side was pure evil. People would get hurt either way. She had tried to see Amy, but visits for those in solitary confinement were limited to family, and Amy's family was still in New Jersey. Even if they could speak, the guards were always present, forbidding them from even discussing politics. There would be no way for them to discuss Eve's plan, or her doubts. Eve knew some things were beyond her control. With ELE still coming, and the August heat in Texas, tensions were already erupting. Guards and inmates, christians and muslims, Maggie's followers attacking people randomely. Eve had to protect herself, and Amy. After her shift Eve went to see a guard, said she had to see colonel Park immediately. When the guard brought Eve to Park's office he was on the phone, yelling about shipments of oil being hi-jacked. Some drivers were even defecting, using their oil as leverage to join the CSA. Park seemed angrier than usual.

Park: This had better not be an excuse to get some air-conditioning.

Eve: It isn't. There's a plot to sieze this place, and it's oil.

Park: Do you know anything specific, or just making an educated guess?

Eve: Mr Colby, a few guards, and some prisoners whose names I can't remember.

Park: I'll show you some pictures, you can identify them.

Eve: I have a recording of the rebel meeting that I attended. Before I give it to you, I want a few things. I want Amy released from this place. I want regular school classes and vocational training for myself, and to be able to shower without guards oggling my body.

Park: Anything else?

Eve: No. I deserve to be punished for what I did, but I also deserve some dignity.

Park: I'll see what I can do.

Eve: Release Amy now, and I'll take you to the recording device. Otherwise you'll never find it.

Park: I'll have Amy released from solitary confinement immediately. She'll be paroled after we verify your intel. Just out of curiosity, what do you think Amy will thin of you for this betrayel of her cause?

Eve: She'll hate me, but she'll be alive to hate me.

Park went on his phone. He told the guards to arrest Colby, and to release Amy from solitary confinement, and placed in Park's office under guard for now. Meanwhile Eve and her guard brought colonel Park to where Eve said the recording was. Eve brought Park to a secluded spot. Park seemed to understand why an important piece of intel would be hidden in this place. Once they were here their guard, Lee, put a hankerchief over Park's face. Although Park fought back he lost conscioussness within seconds. The look on Eve's face was nervous, but not suprised at this turn of events. When he was out Lee took Park's card. With this they could complete their plan. Lee also hand-cuffed Park, gave Eve a gun, told her to watch him, mae sure he couldn't escape. This was it. Soon, they would be free.
