When Jay heard the good news he was sent home. Jay was so happy he wanted to walk into a bathroom and shout all his excitement. But that would be highly inappropriate. Jay instead just skipped all the way home. He couldn't wait to tell his dad the exciting news. Tomorrow he would be a student in Duel Academy. Jay knew there would still be some troubles there—if one of his teachers was his Aunt Carmel Jay wouldn't be able to sleep in a fortnight. But it wouldn't be all bad. That boy Ciel seemed like a jerk at first, but he actually had a good heart. He cheered Jay on in the stadium when everyone else thought he was going to lose.

" But why does he have an eyepatch?" Jay thought walking to his house. "Does he have glaucoma? I don't think so. Maybe he lost the eye and doesn't want anyone to see his eye because it's grotesque or something. I wonder if there's pus in it."

Jay opened the door. Inside he could hear some retro music. It sounded like something dude's played to score on chicks. He heard a faint moaning noise coming from the kitchen. Jay thought it was his mother, crying that her son was gone—then he learned it was his mother who was crying. Ian walked towards the kitchen. What he saw would've scarred him if he was a little younger. It was obscene. He saw his mother wearing an apron and his father's bare end. He heard the erotic sounds of Junichi moaning.

" You've been a very bad girl," Nuo said. " You like to do it in the place where we eat!" " Oh yes," Junichi squirmed around like a worm. It was a couple's fantasy and Junichi was the one most enjoying it.

" I'm very horny. Take me, Nuo. Take me, take me."

Jay didn't know what to say. It was the grossest thing his eyes had ever seen. Jay only gawked at how sexy his mother looked in the middle of it. Jay was about to back up and go upstairs, but the doorbell ringed.

" Huh?"

Nuo turned around. He panicked! His own son was looking at him! Nuo grabbed Junichi and moved her forward like a shield protecting Jay from seeing his genitals. The doorbell rang again. Junichi moved her apron down to cover her pussy. And the doorbell rang for the third time.

" Answer it, please!" Nuo cried.

" Um…okay."

Jay turned around and walked to the door. Nuo grabbed Junichi's hand and pulled her away from the kitchen. Light shimmered through the glass windows and got into Jay's eyes. The sun rays blinded him for a second. After that second went by Jay opened the door' a dwarf with a large book and black eye patch was standing outside.

" Good evening," Ciel said looking at Jay with his one little eye.

"C-Ciel?" Jay paused momentarily to be sure it was really Ciel. And he checked either side to see if there was anyone else with Ciel. " Have you become a fanboy of mine?"

" I'm here as anerrand boy. Your Aunt Carmel wanted me to give you this."

Ciel raised a cassette. He gave the cassette to Jay. " Why would she make you give this to me?" Jay said. " Why couldn't she just deliver it to me herself?"

" Because my family doesn't own a cassette player and she thought this way we could both see what's on the video. She must have been under some impression the two of us were friends."

" Who's that boy, Jay?" Nuo called.

Jay turned around. Behind him was his father Nuo dressed in a white T-shirt and wearing khaki shorts. His mother was wearing an orange shirt with blue jeans. They had fake smiles. Since Jay saw the two of them naked they looked embarrassed.

" Mom, Dad, this is Ciel."

" Aww," Junichi said. " He's adorable. How old is he? Eight? Ten?"

" I don't know," Ciel said. " Why don't you ask your son. I'm either one year younger or older than him."

" You're kidding," Nuo said. " You are really the same age as our son?"

" Yes. What made me so small is smoking. That's what I tell young kids at the water park. What really made me so short is not drinking enough milk. Your son and I have to watch a video together. Can I have some Earl Gray?"

" What's Earl Gray?" Jay asked.

" It's an English Tea. Lots of people have bags of them in their houses. It's better for you than coffee."

" We don't have any tea in this house," Nuo said. " But we do have lots of coffee. Would you like some?"

" Coffee? I didn't know your family were Italian, Jay. Coffee will do just fine. But I'm not planning to stay here very long so don't give me a large cup."

Ciel took the cassette away from Jay and walked to the room wherethe TV was. Nuo and Junichi walked between Jay. Junichi was the first one to kneel down and talk to her son.

" Jay, where did you met this boy?" She said.

" At the Duel Academy entrance," Jay aid. " Did I mention I got in."

" You made it to Duel Academy?" Junichi said.

" Yep."

" That's wonderful. My son is going to a school with other duelists. Did you hear that, Nuo?"

" Yes," he said, " going to a school we have to pay for just so he can get a job as something that doesn't require an education. I think it would be much more marvelous if Jay got a job."

" Don't suffocate him with stuff like that," Junichi said. " I'm proud he's gotten in. Don't you feel proud knowing you got in, Jay?"

" A little," Jay said. " But I won't be going until tomorrow morning. And I was wondering if I really should go."

" What do you mean, Jay?" Nuo asked.

" I mean if I go to this academy, won't you guys miss me?"

" Maybe…no."

" What?"

" 'll be honest with you, Jay," Nuo said. " Your mother and I have had intimacy issues since you were born. I've become so impotent that the only way for me to get aroused is being in the house knowing you're not there."

" That's not a nice thing to say, Nuo," Junichi said.

" He wanted my truth and now he's got my truth. Jay, why don't you play with your little friend?"

Jay grumbled under his breath. He couldn't believe his father would just openly admit he wasn't at all sad. But his father was right about one thing. He really did have to watch the tape with Ciel. Jay walked into the room where Ciel was pressing rewind and going back to the start.

" Would you like anything to eat?" Jay asked. " We have chip, candy, we have—"

" No thanks. I'm trying to be as robust as the other boys. Even though I'm small it just means I'll have to work harder. Although, if you do have some Earl Gray I would like a sip."

Ciel pressed play. The video started like a movie. Ciel and Jay watched a man take a camera of the sight of Duel Academy from above. The landscape of the academy was small, with one giant volcano in the back. After one minute of silence watching the scenery—waterfalls, hot springs, piers, and Duel Monsters—they finally got to the scene with a girl with long blond hair wearing a cerulean blazer.

" If you're a student who passed the exams and watching this than congratulations. You have been accepted to the school of a lifetime. I am the chairman, oops, chair-woman of the school. My name is Alexis Rhodes. You may think dueling is the only thing we teach here, but we have so many classes. When you arrive at Duel Academy things might seem confusing at first, but we have students there who will help lead you to your dorm placement and show you around the island. We have programs for Special Needs kids. Say if you can't walk, have Down syndrome, or mute we offer special learning classes for you. How do you know this school is right for you? When I was a student I never had a real goal to look for, until this school challenged me in every subject until I found the right one for me. So you see, we are a pristine, organized, caring, and helpful school. No matter how old you are you can still come her as a first, second, third, or fourth year student. Get your game on."

The video ended. The screen turned blue with the letters CTHR-0C18 on the top. Jay crawled towards the TV set and pressed the Eject button.

" Do you still want to go to Duel Academy?" Jay asked Ciel as he pulled out the cassette.

" Of course I still want to go. You think I wouldn't want to go because some pretty blond showed up on the screen? Why would you ask a stupid question?"

" Weren't you paying attention to the video?"

" What about it? It seemed perfectly fine."

" You didn't see it?"

" Jay…what is all this about?"

" It was there. It kept moving. You didn't see it? There was something in the background."

" Is this supposed to be a joke?"

" There was a girl on the screen!"

" Of course there was a girl. She was the chair-woman of the—"

" Not that girl! There was another girl. Her skin was so cold…I think she was dead!"
