Davis had taken Lily to a small pizza parlor at the edge of the Rainbow Bridge; she happily ate while she and Davis talked about what she liked to do and what school
she attended. Davis learned that she loved music, plants and animals, he even promised her to buy her a piano so that she could learn to play, he also discovered
that she was a first grader that attended Odaiba elementary which was conveniently close to the high school he and his partners attended. After finishing their
breakfast they headed to a small park where Davis sat on a bench looking at Lily playing on the swings, he closed his eyes for a minute trying to think of a way to
explain the sudden appearance of a baby sister, his thought was interrupted by Lily who poked him in the arm, as he opened his eyes he saw the luminous smile she
was giving him.
"Oni-Chan, come play with me" said the girl
Davis had no other choice but to agree with the child, Lily grabbed his hand and showed him the way "Where are you taking us Lily?"
"It's a surprise" she answered in a sweet tone
Lily led Davis to the edge of the park where there was a small lake, she sat down with the hazard chosen by her side, she then began to skip rocks and humming
happily, Davis saw this and felt his heart light up, he had done right in taking her away from those monsters, she didn't deserve to live that hell.
"Lily, look at the butterflies" said Davis while he pointed to a tree where lots of butterflies were perched
"Wow, they're beautiful Oni-Chan, do you think we can touch them" said the child enthusiastically
"I'll try to get one for you" said Davis as he used his lightning speed to grab a butterfly that surprisingly didn't squirm away
"Here you go Lily, now be careful not to move ok" he said as he handed Lily the butterfly went and stood comfortably on the girl's fingertip
"It's so pretty" she said as the butterfly slowly opened its wings and started flying away along with the rest
"Look like it's their time to go, come on Lily we need to get you some new clothes and other necessities" said Davis as he turned around and started walking away
The child looked at the butterflies flying away and stayed in a daze for a couple of minutes, she watched with detail each creature flap its wings and take to the sky
leaving the city behind. With her sweet voice she walked up to Davis and tugged on his jacket getting his attention;
"Oni-Chan, can we come back another day to see the butterflies?" she asked pleadingly
Davis could not resist saying no to such and adorable face, he quickly smiled and answered "Of course, we'll come back to see them any time you like"
They left the park and headed towards the nearest mall where Davis bought Lily many different clothes, toys and a piano that would later be delivered to the
penthouse, on the way home Davis stopped and checked on the development of the bar and lounge he owned, he decided that in three days there would be a grand
opening which meant that he and the angels had to get prepared for their first live performance.
Olympian Towers: Tokyo
Alexia and Victoria were sitting in the living room practicing for the performance that was coming up, they didn't have to worry about the noise they made because of
the sound-proof walls that the penthouse had, they sang and played for hours trying to kill time while expecting the arrival of their master. As the door was opened
they felt the presence of another human who was not Davis, they quickly stood up and prepared themselves to attack the other human, they expected their master to
have been blackmailed by this human to reveal their location but what they saw was something completely different. Davis walked into the living room with a small
child dressed in a white summer dress, she had big light brown eyes that were full of excitement and life, her hair went down to her lower back and her cream skin
made her look beautiful, she hid behind Davis shyly as the hazard king took a step further towards his angels.
"Good evening, I apologize for not calling to say that I would bring company but I preferred to do it in person" said Davis while the angels were still to flabbergasted
to respond
"Who is that child? Master" asked Alexia being the first to respond
"Please come forth and introduce yourself" said Davis while he motioned Lily to the front so that Alexia and Victoria could take a good look at her
"Hi! I'm Lily, what's your name?" she said as she introduced herself and aimed a question at Alexia
Both Alexia and Victoria were taken aback by the light the child possessed, it wasn't like Hikari's or Koji's, it was different, it was purer and at the same time holier,
she was a special child they could see that from the moment she entered the door.
"Alexia darling, its rude to not answer questions" said Davis
"Sorry master, my name is Alexia, it is a pleasure to meet you" answered Lily as she bent down and shook the child's hand while she giggled happily at the formality
"And I am Victoria, please forgive our hesitance" spoke Victoria doing the same thing as the lord of pride
Lily took in the appearance of the demon lords, Alexia had the whitest skin that she had ever seen, her hair was long and blonde, and her eyes were the deepest blue
she had ever seen. Victoria on the other hand had skin that was a little more tanned than Alexia's but still very clear; her eyes were a beautiful hazel color which
contrasted with her black hair. Lily walked closer to the kneeling demon lords and gave them a bright smile while she asked;
"Are you angels?" she said timidly while the demon lords were at a loss of words, even Davis was silenced by her sudden question
"Wh-Why do you ask that Lily?" said Davis trying to regain composure
"Because" she said and the put both her hands on each of the demon lord's heads while she patted them innocently "You are so pretty, so pretty, like angels, mommy
used to tell me that angels were very pretty"
"You are right Lily, angels are truly beautiful, and yes they are angels but not like the ones in stories, they are different, they are digimon" said Davis trying to explain
it to the child
"What are digimon?" said the girl confused
"Digimon are beings from other worlds, you can have them as partners and they will look out for you and if you are kind and good with them they grown and become
big and strong, they can also do things that humans cant, they can fly, they can go underwater, they can be really fast and they eat a lot" said Davis smiling
"Oh! So they're your partners?" she asked
"In a way they are, I am different from the average destined" he answered "But enough of difficult explanations would you like to sit down and watch T.V. I still have
to talk some things with Alexia and Victoria"
"Yes Oni-Chan"
"Would you like some juice" he asked
"Yup" she answered as Davis went to the fridge and poured her some orange juice "Thank you"
"Always so polite" said Davis while he went and sat down in the kitchen with the demon lords
"My lord, what is this?" asked Victoria
"Allow me to explain"
Davis began telling the demon lords of the incident that occurred in the hospital, he narrated the events of the union of the spirits of darkness and the revival of Alice
and Jeri's digimons, he used his telepathic power to explain to them what had happened at the hospital. After explaining her pulled out Lily's information and showed
it to the angels asking them to locate the address of the child's former guardians. The demon lords were more than happy to help, they had listened to every word
that Davis had said about Lily's abuse, and now they understood why the child seemed weak and underdeveloped.
"They should be killed" said Alexia to Victoria
"I agree with you, I would have immense pleasure in plucking their eyes out of their sockets while nailing them to the wall with a stake to the abdomen" answered
Victoria with poison in her words
"I do to, but master has already claimed that privilege, after all he was the one who witnessed firs- hand the damage done to the child"
"Yes, and when he's finished with them, there will be not a trace of their souls left" laughed Victoria quietly
*SMASH*
A loud smash was heard in the living room and Davis quickly came out of his room to look at what had happened, the demon lords reacted instantly and went over
there as well. They found Lily in a crouched position with her orange juice splattered across the floor; the girl saw the three figures and instantly began to mumble
things in complete fear;
"P-Plea-ase, I-I'm s-sorry, do-don't, I-I- I'll be good" the girl was in fetal position and was sobbing uncontrollably, the words hit Davis like a bucket of cold water
"WHAT DID THOSE FUCKING MOSTERS DO TO HER?" he yelled in his mind
"D-Don't h-hit m-me, Oni-Chan I'll be good, it hurts, please don't hurt me" pleaded the girl
Davis's crest began to burn his chest, he found himself almost unable to control the hunger for blood, his senses became hollow and all he could think of and imagine
was killing the bastards that had done that type of damage to Lily. Alexia came over to him and successfully managed to calm him down as Victoria grabbed the child
who was still sobbing in fear. Davis then grabbed Lily and hugged her tight and close to him, he whispered into her ear
"It was an accident Lily, we won't hurt you, no one will, stop crying, shh, shh, it's okay, everything's fine, I'm here Lily, and I'm not going anywhere" he said while he
cradled the child in his arms until she finally dosed off into the world of dreams
"I cannot believe the human filth that this world possesses" said Alexia
"I don't blame you for trying to murder the whole human world" spoke Victoria
"Angels, have you found the location of the address that I gave you?" said Davis, his tone somber and serious
"Yes my lord, it seems to be located in the residential area of the Odaiba district, I have sent the information to your D4A so that you can access it at any time you
wish"
"Thank you Victoria, Alexia could you please take Lily to my room and make sure she stays asleep"
"Right away master" responded the angel as Davis handed her Lily
"Victoria, you and Alexia take care of Lily and try to calm her down, I hope that when she wakes up she will at least be less distressed about what occurred earlier. As
for myself, do not wait for me, I do not know how much time this task will take me"
"As you wish my lord, but me and Pride wish to ask you for something"
"What is it?" he asked
"Make their deaths as painful as possible, they need to feel the pain that they caused this poor child, I would do it myself but I know that you claimed that privilege
and I am more than happy to give it to you"
"I will their souls will burn until nothing is left of them" he said while he smiled sinisterly and went to the restroom to change into his Chaos attire
"Time to play" he opened up a portal and disappeared into it
Odaiba: Japan
Davis landed on the rooftop of a metal cutting factory, the night was cold and the breeze was humid as he watched the house in the distance and took one last look
at the information that was sent to his D4A,
"Tadashi and Ayano Furokawa, both 25 years old, took in Ayano's niece after her sister Chiyo passed away in a fatal car accident, both she and her husband attend
regular church meetings and have deep religious affiliations"
"So church meetings, huh. Well it's of no surprise that those who feel closer to the light are in reality the ones that are the farthest from it, but it's alright I guess I
will have to show them what real darkness can do" he laughed the last part while he jumped on to the ground and headed quickly to the house, being concealed by
the darkness that camouflaged him perfectly
In a matter of minutes he was standing in front of the house, he analyzed his plan and whether to enter straight thru the main door or maybe try the back or even a
window. He chose to enter thru the back window that apparently led to the attic, he made sure his steps were as quiet and swift as possible and he was successful as
he found himself in the hallway that led to the stairs on the first floor. The television was turned on and a conversation seemed to be taking place, Davis crouched
into the hallway and entered the kitchen, the house looked normal in every way with the exception that in almost every corner there was a religious piece, whether it
was a cross, a saint, or even a church pamphlet, these people were not normal church attendees, no, they were fanatics.
He heard steps as the couple came to the kitchen to apparently have dinner, he thought about hiding but decided against it, he wanted them to see him face to face,
to feel fear come up to them, his reputation in the media made him a monster and he was about to exploit it to the maximum. The couple entered the room and
turned the light on, they immediately took a step back as they saw a man in all black with a mask with the image of a skull looking at them as if he was piercing their
souls.
"Petra Fire!" said Davis as the flames surrounded the couple and rendered them completely unmoving
"Wha-t t-the? Who are you? What did you do to us?" asked the man that Davis identified as Tadashi
"Be quiet!" he hissed "Eye of nightmare! you are my slaves now, you will be quiet and will not make a sound no matter what I do to you" Davis invoked his power
and gave orders to his new puppets
"Now I would normally kill you on the spot but this time I prefer to have a little more fun" he said as he made circles around them "Memory Disturbance"
The couple lost their eye color as their pupils and irises became completely blank, Davis's eyes did the same thing and he began to shuffle thru their minds looking for
information on the horrible things he suspected they had done to little Lily.
Tadashi's mind
"I can't believe we have to take in that child"
"I'm sorry honey but I'm sure it's only going to be for a while until they find an orphanage for her"
"YOU LITTLE WHORE! HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU THAT I LIKE MY COFFEE HOT" yelled the man as he hit Lily's hand causing the cup to spill on the floor
"NOW LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO? IM GONNA TEACH YOU TO BEHAVE"
"NO! NO! PLEAS, PLEASE, ILL BE GOOD, AHHHHHH!" yelled the child in pain as the man grabbed his belt and began to strike her back with it
"YOU ARE THE DEVIL'S SPAWN! NOW ITS TIME FOR YOU TO BE PURIFIED"
Real World
Davis's crest was beginning to glow with such intensity that it was leaving a mark on his chest, his anger was already thru the roof but he continued to look into their
minds this time into the mind of Ayano, Lily's aunt.
Ayano's mind
"I'm pregnant!" said a women that Davis supposed was Lily's mother, she looked identical to Lily with the only exception being her shorter hair
"How could you?" said Ayano to her sister
"I love him and were going to live together" said the mother
"YOU KNEW THAT IT'S FORBIDDEN TO HAVE INTERCOURSE OUT OF WEDLOCK! YOURE A WHORE, A FILTHY WHORE!"
"I DON'T CARE, IM NOT GOING TO HAVE AN ABORTION, I LOVE HIM AND HE LOVES ME, WE WILL FIND A WAY TO GIVE THIS LITTLE GIRL THE LIFE SHE DESERVES"
answered the mother as she fled thru the door onto the street
The scene changed into what seemed like a normal morning, Davis saw that Lily walked up to the woman and asked her to help to tie her hair ribbon, the women
gave her a hideous scowl and after the child complained of the tightness of the ribbon she received a slap to the face and a strong kick to her legs, she doubled in
pain and began to cry, this only irritated the women even more and she continued to beat her until she lost consciousness, it was truly a horrifying sight
Real World
Davis had had enough, his emotions were about to explode, he felt angry, angrier than he had ever been, the horrors the poor girl had to endure were straight out of
a war prisoner, he wanted to kill them on the spot, to rip into their chests and pull out their hearts as their lifeless bodies crashed on the floor. But he stopped himself
from doing so, death like that would be too easy for them, he would play with them, taunt them, make them be consumed by their own fears, he was going to
murder their minds and then their bodies.
"So it seems that the little whore" he said the last words with disgust "Was a real problem wasn't she?"
"She is a devil child, born from hideous lust and carnal desire" said the woman
"Oh, lust huh, well I guess you've never met lust, she is really special" said Davis making a joke of his association with the demon lord
"What are you?" asked Tadashi with fright
"I am your worst fear" he said while he thought of an answer that would make them quiver in fear "I am Lucifer, the fallen angel, cast out of heaven onto hell, I've
come back to claim my child" he said while he removed his mask and showed his demonic features
The couple was so scared that they began trembling all while Tadashi lost control of his bladder, as the man removed his mask they saw the true face of darkness, it
was perfect and elegant but his features quickly morphed into those of a monster. His eyes began flashing in different colors, from red to purple, from purple to black,
his fangs became so enlarged that they were able to touch the tip of his lower lip, his voice became deeper, colder as he grabbed Tadashi by the neck.
"You are to be quiet, I will kill you last but first I will have a little fun with him" he said turning to Ayano who couldn't do anything more than just watch because of
the petrification and mind control that was preventing her from screaming or moving
Davis held onto the man's neck as he went to the cupboard to look for something to torture him with, he smiled sinisterly as he found a bottle filled with a cleaning
product, he read the label and turned to the man
"How do you like your coffee?" he asked mockingly with no answer from the man "Oh ok I suppose you like it hot and burning, see this" he said as he pointed to the
bottle "Its muriatic liquid, also known as corrosive acid, perfect for cleaning but so dangerous to the human body, if ingested it can cause the meltdown of the organs
and sent the person to a premature and painful death. Sound's like fun"
Davis grabbed the bottle again and forcefully downed it into the man's throat, the liquid spilled and burned Tadashi's skin all while he tried to scream with no result,
his insides were beginning to melt, and Davis could only laugh as the man fell to the floor in agony and began spewing out blood from his mouth.
"Try to scream all you want, it won't do a thing, see that" he said as he pointed to the blood on the floor "There goes your vocal cords, hahahaha!"
The man squirmed on the floor while his wife was forced to watch in horror at the gruesome scene; she was crying and could only look at the man with fear in her
eyes. Davis quickly made his way to the garage and pulled out a massive drill, he was lost in his torturous ways and there was no one to stop him now. He came back
holding the tool and plugged it into the wall, he turned it on and the noise that came from it brought the man back from his pain induced trance, he looked at Davis
with disgust and mostly fear, he mumbled something that Davis could only guess was a curse word, he merely smiled a toothy grin to the man and grabbed him by
the collar, he looked straight into his eyes and said to him
"Take a good look, because my eyes will be the last thing you see" he said
Davis aimed the drill at Tadashi's left eye and pushed the button, the drill started to spin round and round, without mercy he pushed it into the man's eyeball and
witnessed the result. Blood was shed everywhere, the man squirmed and tried to free himself with no success, the crunching of his nerves and membranes could be
heard as the drill punctured his left eye completely, it left his whole face completely disfigure because Davis had apparently miscalculated the damage the powerful
tool would do to a human body, he was surprised at this but in the end continued to do so with the remaining eye, finally after torturing the life out of him, his body
fell to the floor with a loud thud.
"Well that was easy, I thought he was going to put up more of a fight, after all according to him he has God on his side" he mocked
He made his way to Ayano who had her eyes closed and was praying for salvation, he grabbed the woman by the shoulders and began talking to her in a patient yet
cruel way
"Where is your God now? You see I believe in a higher power, I believe in salvation but there are some of us that don't deserve it, you and me we are the same, we
have both sinned and done horrible things, we cannot be forgiven, that is why your God is not with you, it's not that he has turned his back on you, it's that he was
never there because of your actions, that child bears the burden of your sins and it's time for me to take that weight from her"
Davis grabbed the drill once again and sunk it into the woman's stomach making her gasp in pain, her intestines were being crunched up and the cracking of her ribs
made Davis feel ecstatic, the woman's eyes were slowly losing life and Davis decided it was time to end her pathetic existence. He grabbed her and found a box of
nails that was conveniently placed on the kitchen counter, he managed to use his inhuman strength to nail her to the wall, it was an unusual position because she
was upside down and the blood coming out of the wound only left her body even faster, he then grabbed the man's lifeless body and did the same with him.
He began to look around the place admiring his work, the walls were painted red, the kitchen a mess, the stench of blood, metal and acid was intoxicating, he wasn't
finished though, he needed a personal touch, a message to people like them. He grabbed the two crucifixes that were in the living room and looked at them carefully,
he noticed that both of them had a pointy end that could easily be used as a dagger, he then with no hesitation shoved the crosses into each of the respective bodies
heads, he then pulled out two black king chess pieces and shoved them into their hearts placing them carefully right in the center.
He then went upstairs and looked thru the couple's belongings, he found a picture of the woman in his memories, this was Lily's mother, he grabbed the picture and
put it in his pocket, he came back down and went to the kitchen, he turned on the stove and waited for a couple of minutes for the gas to circulate, he stood at the
edge of the back door and while taking one last look at the dismembered and mangled bodies he said
"ATOMIC INFERNO" the fire consumed the house as a black figure covered in blood opened a portal and disappeared into an unknown location
There it is, so I know that this chapter had nothing to do with the destined but I just had to give a little more insight on Lily and her past. I PROMISE
that Davis will reveal himself to his former teammates very soon if not in the next two chapters. As for the torture scenes in this chapter, I WARNED
