Davis's felt his lungs run out of air as the angels looked at him with skepticism and worry. Lily was happily caressing the egg and looking carefree and happy.
"Master, is everything alright?" asked Alexia noticing the paleness that Davis presented in his features
Davis continued lost in his thoughts, his mind was racing and creating million of scenarios of the things that the future would depart, if Lily was the chosen of purity,
that would mean that she would have to fight for him in the war. He knew of the prophecy, everything it had foretold until now had become true, the betrayal, the
darkness, his own experiences, but what could he do now, he refused to let such a pure child be involved in the mess that he was part of.
"I'm fine, I apologize, I guess the shock really got to me" he said clearing his throat and walking over to the spot where Lily and Victoria were sitting
"Oni-Chan, look!" said the child excitedly "It's a giant egg" she held the egg up high so that Davis and everyone else could see it "Can we eat it? I'm hungry" she
asked innocently
Davis and the angels couldn't do much but laugh at the child's question, she looked at them curiously and Davis had to explain how the egg wasn't edible. Lily
listened attentively and soaked up all the information that Davis was giving her, she didn't understand why his big brother looked scared when he saw the egg but
she was happy that she could be part of the team now.
"We must go see Wisemon" suggested Alexia while Davis put his hand on his chin trying to decide if it was a good idea
"I agree my lord, if there is any information on this crest and digiegg, Wisemon will surely give us some insight"
"Fine, we will visit sensei and he will hopefully have some information about this mess" he said as he went to his room
Davis opened his bedroom door and grabbed a piece of paper and pen while he sat down on his desk, he began writing rapidly and was soon finished, he folded the
paper and put it in his pocket while he walked back to the living room.
"Lily, I need you to grab one of your coats and scarfs because the place where we are going is cold" he said as he turned to Lily who obediently went to her closet to
put on warm clothing
Davis then turned to his angels and began explaining
"We need to find Kouichi, the time for me to reveal myself is coming closer and having him and the other two groups out of the way is a crucial part of it. But the
question is, how do we find him?"
"It's simple really" said Alexia
"You know where he is? Pride" asked Victoria
"No, but as you know I have a history with his group and I can tell you that their D-Tectors send signals to one another, if we can intercept one then we will be able
to detect his exact location"
"I see, brilliant as always my prideful angel" he said while he gave Alexia a smile "When we are inside the dark castle, we will look for his signal and find him"
Lily walked back dressed in a gray coat with a matching gray scarf, she grabbed her digiegg from the table while Davis put the D-3 and the crest in his pocket, he
grabbed his D4A on one hand as he held Lily's with the other
"Dimensional Rift, Dark Ocean portal, OPEN!"
Digital World: Central Quadrant
Sovereign Plateau
The sovereigns were once again discussing the recent discoveries regarding the chosen of darkness. They had found out from Gennai that Kouichi, the warrior of
darkness, had apparently ditched his teammates and there was a high possibility that he was now working for the king of the dark hazard.
"Azulongmon, it is of my understanding that not only did the brats fail but now they also lost one of their most important members" said Fanglongmon
"Yes, it seems that the boy of darkness got to him first" answered Azulongmon clearly angry
"There is also that incident with the two Tamers, I believe that the punk is behind it all" said Zquiaomon
"How can you be so sure?"
"Because my people interrogated Elecmon and he couldn't remember anything, his memory was completely blocked and the story he gave us was not convincing"
"Yes I agree, that chosen has his way of erasing the memories and he must of done it to Elecmon in order to give the eggs to the girls" said Ebonwoumon
"We must do something quickly, the devas are gone, and time is running out, if he helped the girls and the warrior of darkness then there is a high chance that they
will join him" said Baihumon
"NO! WE MUST STOP THEM FROM JOINING HIM!" yelled everyone else in unison
"IT WOULD LEAD TO A DISASTER, IF THEY JOIN HIM HE MIGHT OPEN UP ABOUT THE TRUTH AND THEY WOULD TURN ON US" said Azulongmon loudly
"EVERYONE CALM DOWN!" boomed the voice of Fanglongmon "Dorugoramon, COME FORTH!"
The dragon's voice boomed throughout the land and in the horizon appeared a metal dragon standing on two legs, his metallic wings had blades that looked as sharp
as knives while the mask on its face covered it of any emotion, on his back was a long tail that ended in a lance that looked like it could pierce thru steel, he bowed
down to the sovereigns and remained quiet as Fanglongmon talked.
"Dorugoramon, you have served me since you were a child and I have rewarded you with unlimited power, now I ask you gather your people and go to the human
world, there is work for you to do"
"Thank you for this opportunity my lord, I will not fail you"
"After you have gathered your people and before you leave, go to Datamon and he will give you the information you need, I will however ask you something"
"What is that, my lord?" he asked
"Do not fail me, I don't care how much it takes but I don't want you to leave anyone alive" he said
"Your wish is my command" he said as he walked away to find Datamon
The other four sovereigns turned to Fanglongmon with questioning eyes but it was Baihumon who spoke first
"What is the meaning of this, Fanglongmon?"
"It's necessary, there is no time so there is only one thing to do" he answered
"What will happen to the warrior of darkness and the Tamers?" spoke Ebonwoumon
"They have been corrupted by Chaos, those eggs that they received are the manifestation of evil and the warrior of darkness has deserted, so it only leaves us one
choice which I have already taken"
"What did you do?" asked everyone
"The two Tamers and the warrior of darkness will be eliminated" he answered in an icy voice while everyone stood in silence
Dark Dimension: Dark Castle
The group had met up with Wisemon inside the castle, Lily was busy exploring the castle along with Alexia and Victoria, they had explained to her that this place was
special to Davis and that not many people could stay there. The child felt happy to be able to access a place like that and to the surprise of everyone, she didn't seem
afraid of the dark ocean, she in fact had a look that was filled with curiosity. Meanwhile, Davis was talking to Wisemon about the crest, D-3 and digiegg that had been
given to Lily, the digimon quickly grabbed the three items and began to analyze them, he was surprised to that the king of darkness had a soft spot for the child, he
seemed like a totally different person when he was around her, but what truly was astonishing is the child's ability to stay in the dark ocean without it affecting her
mentality, this child was special and the crest and digiegg proved it.
"I am afraid that the crest is authentic my king, she is the chosen of purity and there is no doubt about it" he said looking at Davis who put his head down
"I just, I mean. Why? Why her? Out of all the people that it could go to it had to go to her, she is too young sensei, she is too innocent to be involved in this war" he
said
"I understand my king, but that purity is exactly what will help you win this battle, I am sorry that it had to be this way but even you cannot control destiny itself"
"I know, but I will tell you this, I will protect her, even if I have to face the whole world, I will still let no harm come to her"
"I am sure you will, my king" responded Wisemon
"Also, there is one more thing that I want to ask you" said Davis "I have been having some rather strong lashes recently, I have already killed three humans in the
most bloodthirsty and crude way, one by mutilation and burning and the other two by physical and mental torture"
"I see" said Wisemon putting a hand on his chin "And have you presented any symptoms?" he asked
"Not physically, but the crest on my neck begins to burn and my vision become empty and all I can see is the color red, which sometimes goes to purple of just plain
black"
Wisemon thought for a moment about what Davis said to him, he knew the reason that the crest was causing that reaction, he hadn't been able to read the prophecy
but he knew that it would be needed in the future, he only hoped that the chosen of darkness confided in him the text.
"The reason that it burns you, my king, is that it serves as a seal to your powers, you see, your powers are so strong that if unleashed completely it could cause a
catastrophe of unknown magnitude, the crest is a seal, its binding them, as you've noticed you cannot take it off, the only way it can be taken off is if its broken but
that's virtually impossible, not even Megidramon could break it if he had possessed it, it has reacted to your emotions, to your pain, your anger, your sense of justice,
do not worry my king, the crest will not break" responded Wisemon
"I understand" he said as he pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket and handed it to Wisemon "Unknown times are ahead of us, this is the prophecy of the dark
hazard, if anything should happen to me, I confide in you its content"
At that moment, Alexia, Victoria and Lily walked back into the room, after they had explored the castle, they had gone to one of the computer rooms and began
tracing the location of Kouichi, they had transferred it to the D4A and were now bringing it back to Davis to show him
"Oni-Chan!" squealed Lily in delight while she ran towards Davis only to be picked up and hugged tightly
"Hello princess, did you have fun?" he asked
"Yes, Alexia and Victoria took me to explore, it's really pretty" she said
"I'm glad you had fun" he said to her and then looked up at the demon lords who were smiling warmly at the scene "I hope that it wasn't too difficult to track Kouichi"
"It was easy, my lord" answered Victoria
"We managed to pin point his location, the coordinates are there and all you need to do is tell it to guide you and it will do" said Alexia as she handed the D4A back to
Davis who saw a screen with a black dot that signified Kouichi's location
"An exceptional job from the two of you as always" he praised
"Oni-Chan" said Lily tugging on Davis's jacket "I'm hungry"
"Oh, how forgetful of me, you didn't have anything for lunch" he said as he smiled at the child "Why don't we go back home and I'll make you something really
yummy, ok"
"Yay!" answered the girl while she beamed at everyone
The group packed their stuff and prepared to go home, Wisemon said his respective goodbyes to both demon lords and promised to welcome Lily anytime she wanted
to come back, Davis let the child and the angels walk away first and used this time to speak to his mentor
"It was a pleasure seeing you again, sensei"
"I can say the same thing, my king, remember that you can always count on me for service" he answered
"Thank you, after all of this is done, I will help you escape this place"
"I look forward to that day"
"Farewell, sensei"
"Until next time, king of darkness"
Real World: Tokyo: Shibuya
Kouichi had managed to find a job as a dishwasher at a small restaurant, the man who owned it was in his mid-forties and although he hesitated at first to hire him
he eventually gave him the job because he could pay him minimum wage and not offer him benefits, this benefited both the man who was cheap and Kouichi who
could earn money and tips without papers or identification
"Kouichi, hand me those forks"
"Here you go" said Kouichi as he handed the utensils to one of the waiters
The warrior of darkness continued working until the end of his shift and as he walked to Shibuya station, since he had left the restaurant he had felt a presence,
something or someone was following him, he decided to turn around into one of the alleys that was close to the station, if someone was following him he would have
the chance of transforming into the warrior of darkness without anyone seeing him.
"Who's there? Show yourself" he said in anger
Two dark figures dressed in black cloaks appeared in front of Kouichi; Loweemon Dusk mode quickly appeared at the teen's side and warned him
"Kouichi we better unify, this is a trap, I can feel it, they're not human"
The figures approached Kouichi as the warrior of darkness cursed his luck
"Ahhh, Fuck it then! EXECUTE SPIRIT EVOLUTION! ... LOWEEMON DUSK MODE!"
The two figures saw the transformation and decided to reveal themselves, they were two unknown digimon that neither the spirit of darkness or Kouichi recognized,
one of them was a metal dragon standing on two legs, his metallic wings had blades that looked as sharp as knives while the mask on its face covered it of any
emotion, on his back was a long tail that ended in a lance that looked like it could pierce thru steel, the other one was covered in silver armor and wielded to gold
colored blades, his red cape flowed with the wind while he and the other creature looked Loweemon Dusk mode menacingly
"So this is the famous warrior of darkness, allow me to introduce myself" said the metallic dragon "I am Dorugoramon"
"Pathetic little kid, aint he? I'm Slayerdramon by the way" said the silver knight
"WHAT DO YOU WANT?" hissed Loweemon Dusk mode
"Oh, nothing in particular, but you see, my god has ordered me to kill you, and now it's time for me to complete the task"
"IT'S TIME TO DIE BOY, TENRYU SLASH!" yelled Strikedramon as he dived to attack Kouchi with his blade
Loweemon Dusk mode dodged the deadly attack and responded with two of his own, the digimon were able to dodge them and went to attack him straight on,
"DORU DIN!" yelled Dorugoramon as a white shock wave was released from his blades
The shock wave hit Kouichi on his left side and quickly drew blood from his arm, the warrior cried in pain as the cut became bigger as he tried to continue fighting,
"It's useless, they're too strong, dammit how I wish that Koji was here" he thought as he continued to dodge and receive attacks from time to time
"TENRYU SLASH!" the attack missed Kouichi, but he was sent t crashing to a nearby factory courtesy of Dorugoramon who kicked him with such force that it broke
some of his armor
The battle was getting tougher for the warrior of darkness, people were piling out onto the street and looked up at the sky to see the battle that was raging on,
Kouichi managed to use his teleportation ability to strike Dorugoramon with one of his swords, the digimon doubled in pain as a large gash appeared on the center of
his chest that was now oozing blood from left to right
"SON OF A BITCH!" yelled the digimon while he looked at his wounds
"DORUGORAMON! You okay?" asked Slayerdramon
"SHUT UP FOOL! KILL THE KID!"
"Oh this is not going to end well, dammit I didn't think that out of all the scenarios I could of died in, I would end up being killed by two crazy digimon" thought
Kouichi as he braced himself for the next set of attacks
Olympian Towers: Tokyo
Davis and the angels were preparing their late lunch while Lily sat on a stool cradling her digiegg, the quiet atmosphere was interrupted by a small ringtone that
came from Davis's D4A, the chosen of darkness took it out of his pocket and looked at the screen that indicated the signal of Kouichi's D-Tector while noticing that
the dot was now flashing white and black,
"Victoria, what does this sudden change in the dot color mean?" he asked
"Oh no" said the angel while Alexia came into the room with a plate of food
"He's transformed into his warrior form" answered Alexia
"That means he's in trouble, why else would he transform"
"Do you want us to go help him?" asked both demon lords
"No, you will both stay here, we still do not know the cause of the attack or who is behind it, I will be in contact with you, if anything happens rest assure that I will
call you immediately" he answered
"Understood master, you can count on us" said Alexia
"Be careful my lord" warned Victoria
Davis went into his closet and rapidly dressed into his Chaos attire, he put on the mask and grabbed his D4A from the table, he had no time to lose, he had no idea
who was behind it, for all he knew it could have been the chosen children themselves, but then again the warriors wouldn't let Kouichi die. There was only one way to
find out, it was time to make another appearance
Shibuya: Tokyo
After being sliced on the chest, Dorugoramon had gotten angrier and was fighting with absolute disregard for destruction and human life, along with Slayerdramon
they continued to assault the warrior of darkness who was by now in a very difficult position. Loweemon Dusk mode had been injured on both of his arms and on his
left leg; his body was beginning to shut down due to the loss of blood and the continuous attacks he had received.
"TENRYU SLASH" Slayerdramon's attack knocked Kouichi down as his already injured left leg doubled and made him crash to the floor unable to continue battle
"ARRRRRRRGHHHHHH! BASTARDS!" he yelled in pain not wanting to give his enemies the satisfaction
"Aww, now don't get rough with us boy" said Slayerdramon
"You knew it was useless from the beginning, we are the ones who serve the gods, we are invincible by definition, hahahahahahaha" laughed Dorugoramon
The metallic dragon grabbed his blade and pointed it directly at Loweemon Dusk mode's neck, he slowly approached the blade as if waiting for the warrior of darkness
to beg for his life, but Kouichi didn't bulge, he only looked into his eyes and went he felt the tip touch his neck he closed his eyes waiting for the end. But the end
never came, instead a loud cracking sound, Kouichi opened his eyes once again and saw who had stopped the attack and cracked Dorugoramon's arm, it was Davis,
no, it was Chaos.
"Well look what we have here, I was just walking by and look what I find, the warrior of darkness battling two pathetic digimon, it's time to even the odds mates, it's
not fair to fight two on one" said Davis while he twisted Dorugoramon's arm even further
"TENRYU SLASH!" yelled Slayerdramon trying to help his friend free himself from Davis's grip
"PETRA FIRE!" yelled Davis as the digimon was completely paralyzed and was forced to stop his attack
"You made a mistake to go after the warrior, but since you're so bloodthirsty, then I guess I'll give you a little action" he said as he turned to the crowd who by now
had backed down considerably because of his presence "You might want to close your eyes for this one"
Davis grabbed Dorugoramon's blade and sunk it into his neck making the body part burst with blood that soon began to form a puddle, he continued to apply
pressure to the digimon's arm and using all his force, he yanked the arm right of his body,
"NOOOOOOOOO! DORUGORAMON" yelled Slayerdramon from his frozen position crying as he saw his friend bleed to death in front of his eyes
Dorugoramon couldn't resist the loss of blood and data, he soon began to dissipate into the air only to be burned to smithereens by Davis's flame of fury, Kouichi
watched in both terror and admiration as Davis made his way to Slayerdramon, releasing him from his petrification.
"I will make this simple, tell me who sent you and why? If you do so I promise to make your death as quick and painless as possible"
"FUCK YOU PUNK! "said the digimon as he spat in Davis's face not measuring the consequences of his action
"Alright then, I guess that I'll just have to find out myself, MEMORY DISTURBANCE!" Davis gained access to his mind and scanned thru it looking for information
"Damn them, we need to hurry or they'll kill them, Kouichi managed to hold on because of his strength but the two girls will be easy prey"
"I gave you the chance to die quickly, now I must kill you but I assure you that it will be painful" he said
"BRING IT ON!" said Slayerdramon as he launched himself at Davis who had pulled the angelic blade out and had it hidden in on his back
As soon as the digimon was in close range, Davis revealed the sword and Slayerdramon's torso was met with the sharpest blade in existence, it was like cutting
butter as the blade went thru the torso cracking the digimon's data and making him bleed in tremendous amounts, the digimon fell on the floor in pain and Davis
merely looked at him with disgust,
"Pathetic worm, FLAME OF FURY!" Slayerdramon's body and data was burned completely and all that was left was a pool of blood
Loweemon Dusk mode had managed to stand up but was still limping from his leg, he cautiously went to Davis who sensed his presence and turned around to face
him,
"Kouichi, I see you're injured but there is still one more battle to be fought today" he said as he looked at the warrior of darkness
"What do you mean? What's happening?" he asked
"I'll tell you on the way, but for now we must hurry or they may not make it out alive"
"Ok ill follow you"
"Let's go ill open up a portal but first" he said as he concentrated his mental connection
"Alexia, Victoria, are you there?"
"Yes master, what can we do for you?"
"Find the two girls with the digieggs that I told you about, protect them while I get there, they're in great danger, hurry"
Davis ended the mental connection as both of them jumped into the air and accessed a portal, while the citizens of Shibuya stared dumbstruck at the war that had
been fought just a few minutes ago.
So here's another chapter, sorry for taking too long to update but I just haven't had the time. So two digimon were killed in the battle, including the
boss of the group, but who else is after Jeri and Alice? Will Davis and the angels arrive on time to save them? How will Kouichi react when he meets Lucemon?
