Hello guys and thank you for reading the latest chapter of Yu-Gi-Oh GX Zodiac Legends. I know it took me awhile to update this story but I had a crazy and weird time before finishing this chapter. I know that's not a good excuse but I'm just happy if anyone is reading my latest chapter. Please read and review.

Ciel scowled. "This is preposterous! Are the professors in this school out of their mind? Why must I, a Ra Yellow, share a classroom with these Slifer Red wannabes?"

One of the blue students glared at him. "Shut up, shorty. We don't want to be with you Ra Yellow's either, but that's just the way the classes go."

"How dare you. I am Ciel Barclay. I have the choice of reporting you to my family and make you my servants. I'll change my mind if you take back what you said about me being short."

"No way, shorty." The obelisk blue student scoffed, "You better admit you're a short baby or we're going to bully you for the rest of the school year."

"Ciel, stop it! You can't solve your problems by hitting other students. You're better than that. Your family is rich." Jay warned his friend. He didn't want trouble on the first day of classes.

Ciel turned to his bullies. "If you have a phone you should call your mother and make her look up the Barclay family. You will be surprised at how much we own, and that's from my father being a real man and stopping his enemies."

"Who do you think you are? Seto Kaiba? Do you own a Blue Eyes White Dragon? If not than shut up because you're annoying."

"Hey guys." They turned to see Nemo approaching, completely soaked with water dripping down face.

"Nemo…why are you wet?" Jay whispered in his ear.

"I was swimming around the island to find some fish." He lifted the one he caught in his hand. "Look at this fish! It's longer than my fist."

"Don't bring fish to class, idiot!" Ciel scolded.

"I'd have to agree with your friend," a voice said, getting their attention. "In college you're allowed to eat during class. But in here, attention is the foundation of your learning."

He walked over to the front of the classroom. "Hello class. My name is Professor Kirk and welcome to your first day of Duel Life Roles class. After my class you will have Duel Chemistry followed by Duel History. Is there any questions?"

Jay raised his hand.

"Yes Jay?"

Jay blinked, caught off-guard. "How do you know my name?"

"It's because this school has cameras in every room monitoring what you do so we can expel you the first time we see something wrong." Many of the students looked around nervously.

"Just kidding. It's because my wife knew your mother. My wife is a former model turned into a dance instructor."

"Oh, What's Duel Life Roles? Is it where you teach us the roles of the game and what cards we're supposed to use?"

"It's actually the opposite," the professor explained, "I don't want to bore you with lessons on how to play. I will tell you stories about young men and women who became great duelists. Some of them came close to being the next King of Games and some just used to be my students who learned well from being in my class. I believe that all of you students have a little bit charisma in you. You all care about one another."

The Blue Student from earlier spoke up. "Except the shorty sitting below me."

Ciel stood up abruptly. "One more word and I will—"

"BOOOOOOOOO!" Ciel fell to his seat.

Professor Kirk chuckled. "That's how I make my daughter sit down. I was saying how you all care about one another. You might not believe it now but each of you wants to keep the other around. Every other teacher won't mention this but in the future we will have students vs teachers duels . If you want to win you have to go beyond just this classroom and pay attention to me."

"You're actually making students duel against the teachers?" Jay asked.

"I'm not. The new chancellor will. Tournaments, dueling, and making friends is what this academy is all about. But we don't just teach Duel Monsters. You will be assigned regular textbooks and regular homework. Five minutes of classes will mention Duel Monsters."

A red Student raised his hand. "Professor."

"Yes?"

"One of the Slifer Red students has fallen asleep." he said pointing to the snoring duelist.

Jay cried, recognizing who the sleeping dualist is. "Vincent!"

"Whaa…" Vincent mumbled until he realized where he was. "Warrior of Tradition. Blood Cleave Strik—"

"Chill, Vincent. We're not having a pop quiz," Nemo chuckled.

Vincent sighed in relief. "Hello. What's up?"

"I'll get started on it." Vincent said as he dashed out of the room.

Ian sighed as he watched him run. "Poor Vincent. I hope the teacher isn't being mean to him."

"I hope the teacher is a little mean to him." Ciel said bluntly, causing Ian to shake his head.

"Ciel, that isn't nice."

"People being mean to him is what school should be about. He needs to know he won't get by in life by being lazy and unworthy of his teacher's time."

The Obelisk Blue student approached them and scoffed at the sight if them. "Well, well. If it isn't the shorty from class."

"I told you not to call me short!"

"Ciel, let it go. He's not worth it." Nemo said, not looking up from his cards.

"And you're that guy who likes to swim around in the ocean. Are you trying to free Willy or find your father the king of the sea?" The blue student sneered.

Nemo got up to face the bully. "You know what I love about being underwater? I don't have to listen to idiots making fun of Slifer Red's when they can beat them in a duel."

"You're lying Slifer Red. You can't beat me in a duel."

"I can. Slifer Red's have beaten Ra Yellow's and Obelisk Blue's before and they'll keep beating Obelisk Blue's and Ra Yellow's even in the future where man will make a hundred new ways to duel."

"If a Red like you is confident of standing a ghost of a chance against me...let's duel," the blus student challenged, "My name is Russell. Russell the Robot Boy. School rules, we play with 8000 Life Points."

Ciel scowled in confusion. "When did they have that rule? One of my uncles came here and they said everyone plays with 4000 Life Points."

"The rules have changed. So, is the Slifer Red strong enough to face me?"

Nemo grinned. "Okay. I haven't played a game since I got here and I'm itching to play."

"Let me duel him." Ciel demanded, glaring at Russell.

"That's very thoughtful of you, Ciel, but I want to duel him."

"He called me short. I deserve to duel him."

Ian placed a hand on the small duelist's shoulder. "Ciel, you're a very talented duelist and there's no way you would lose a duel against him but let Nemo have this duel."

Ciel huffed, but complied. "He can have this duel. Remember this because the next time someone makes fun of me, I have the right to due them."
Nemo nodded, then turned back with his duel disk at hand.

"Let's duel!"

"I'll go first!" Nemo drew one card from his deck. He knew his cards weren't much of an offense but it showed him better odds than his exam into the academy. " I summing Flying Fish in Attack Mode."

A lake of water rose on Nemo's field. It was a peaceful looking pool until something splashed out of it. A big green headed fish with red eyes, sharp teeth, 800 attack points. It had wing appendages that allowed it to fly on the water.

"I place one card facedown and end my turn."

A card appeared on the far right side of Nemo's field and then it vanished.

Russell had a smug look on his face, Ciel could see with his one eye that Russell was planning on humiliating Nemo with his next move as he drew one card. 'What on earth is on that card?'

The sky was clear but for some reason a blue twister/typhoon covered Russell's facedown card. The card emerged as a creature breathing red smoke and two men in armor falling in defeat behind him.

" I destroy that facedown before it can be activated. "

The card shattered in the twister. Flying Fish was now the only card on Nemo's field. Knowing a Blue it would summon a monster with more attack power than Nemo's small attack powered monster.

" I summon the swordsman of the dark world: Dark Blade!" (1800/1500)

In the sky there was a dark ball created by the Obelisk Blue student. From that ball a dragon of shadows appeared with a knight in dark armor and red glowing eyes the color of blood appearing. The knight had two blades that looked like dragon's teeth and ivory bone tarsals sticking out of his helmet. He landed and his dragon disappeared.

"1800 attack points?!" Jay cried from the sidelines.

"That is the flashiest entrance I've ever seen," Nemo said.

The blue student took what Nemo said as an insult towards him, so he made up an insult of his own. " Do you know why you're a Slifer Slacker? Because you're a fishboy. You spend all day with fish. You eat fish and you never bring a towel."

"I get dry when I walk to my dorm," Nemo replied.

"Well not bringing a towel does damage to your body like what my Dark Blade is going to do after he destroys your monster. Attack! Blade Tornado!"

Dark Blade held his two swords out and started spinning around. His spinning transformed him into a black tornado that moved towards Flying Fish, sucked him in, and then ripped him apart. Tiny pixels splashed into Nemo's face.

Nemo: 7000

Russell: 8000

"Nemo!" Jay cried.

"Calm down," Ciel said, rolling his eyes at how dramatic Jay was being. "He only lost one monster."

Despite Ciel's comment Nemo took his turn sullen. He looked like he was crying with the tears forming in his eyes. Russell at first smirked, but then Nemo busted out laughing.

"You may have stopped one of my cards, but my skills are with monsters and spell cards. And I have Pot of Greed."

"Pot of Greed?!"

Nemo picked up two cards from the top of his deck. They were spell cards; powerful spell cards. With these he would get back at Russell for insulting him.

"You may be able to summon a storm, but I can create holes from space that can destroy your monsters. I activate Dark Hole."

"Yes, Dark Hole!" Ciel was unexpectedly cheering for Nemo.

"Dark Hole? Is that the card that destroys all monsters on the field?" Jay asked.

"Of course. It's one of those great cards that are good at game changers," Ciel explained, "Since Nemo has no monsters only Dark Blade will be destroyed."

Something was inside the sky but it couldn't be seen at first. It grew large as Dark Blade was pulled up from the ground and sucked into the sky. Dark Blade made one last scream before pixels rained down from the sky. Russell didn't lose his cool about it. He looked at his hand and poked at one card on the far right.

"You may have destroyed my monsters this turn, but next turn I'll bring him back."

"No you won't, because I'm bringing him back for you." Nemo flashed his second magic card. The red emblem and sword made Russell shudder. "It's Monster Reborn. It allows me to bring back a monster from anyone's graveyard and I chose yours. And since you only have one monster I think you know which one I'm bringing back."

Dark Blade's figure was created by glowing light that brought Dark Blade back. Dark Blade looked at his owner Russell. The hologram looked sad. If he was real maybe he was sad about turning against him.

"Thief! That monster belongs to me!" Russell yelled.

"He won't be your monster for long. Monsters are monsters but when I activate Cursed Sea Treasure Torrent, this equip spell turns any monster into a fish monster and gives them 100 extra attack points." Fins grew out of Dark Blade's back and fins came out of his arms. Dark Blade's skin turned green and scaly like a fish. "Dark Blade Fish, attack Storm Fish Blades!"

Dark Blade breathed water out of his helmet and circled it around Russell. Dark slid on the water towards Russell. He may of been a different looking monster but it was still Russell's monster. The monster hesitated but then slashed his sword into Russell's shoulder.

Nemo: 7000

Russell: 6100

"Duel Monsters have no loyalty," Nemo said while Russell was clearly lingering after Dark Blade attacked him. " A card is only as loyal as the duelist who protects them. If you put more defense cards in your deck you may have saved Dark Blade from becoming mine and a fish monster. I set two cards facedown and end my turn."

Russell drew a card from his deck. He looked at his card...looked at his Dark Blade now cladded in fish armor...baffled by how a Slifer Red could take control of his monster.

He smirked. "Your cards were good, but they were probably the only good cards you have. You Slifer Reds are poor, have no strategy, and have big dreams that will never come true. I activate Memoriam. With this spell card I can add one Normal monster and one union monster from my deck to my hand, but if I cannot summon the two monsters then I lose 2000 life points."
