It was unclear to Eve why Lee hadn't been arrested yet. Maybe they were monitoring him, finding out who else was involved. Over the next week Eve heard various things. Israel recognized the collective government, but they hadn't reached a military alliance yet. Eve heard people making anti-semetic comments. Most feared president Douglas would take in Israeli refugees over Texans. Eve also heard Lee talk about actual wolves. How one wolf would sacrifice themselves for the pack. One might think that this instinct would die out over time. Those who did the sacrifice survived shorter time and produced fewer offspring. But the pack mentality always survived. This partly explained Texans' attitudes, protecting their own over others. The Brotherhood viewed "their own" differently. Those who'd fought with them were their kind. Thus their slogan "Hunt as a pack, or not at all."
After the bombings, Lee didn't invite Eve to other meetings. As far as she knew he didn't invite Amy. A part of Eve was grateful, she wasn't sure she wanted to be a part of this anymore. On the other hand, maybe they figured out that Eve had been an informant. What would they do to her for that? Maybe kill her, or maybe they feared a Ranger crackdown and would just leave her alone. Then one day, Thursday October 26th, Lee came to talk to Eve. He looked around to make sure Miguel and Amy weren't around. There had been some developments, the Brotherhood was calling an emergency meeting. They had to leave immediately. Eve went with Lee. She feared this was a pretext, the Brotherhood was eliminating this traitor. Eve tried to hide her fear. Hopefully she could figure a way out of this. If not, they would put her down.
Lee took Eve to a home, one she'd never seen before. There were a few others, most she didn't recognize. The owner was wearing a cop's uniform. She introduced herself as Christina.

Christina: Hello Eve, I'm a fan.
Eve: I'm sorry, a fan of what?
Christina: You're acting career. IMDB has four credits for you.
Eve: Really? The Ark site, Ravenwood, the oil rig, outside the temple. Hey you're right, it is four credits.

Lee: Santos is still trying to make Texas a seperate republic. Our warning shot didn't work. He still needs the state legislature's support. The Brotherhood will make a new video. Let every assemblyman know that supporting seccession from the CSA will mean their death sentance.
Eve: Are you asking me to kill someone?
Christina: For nowwe just need you to stand in the video, wearing a mask ofcourse. We'll edit Lee's voice in later. We should get started.

Eve stood with the others in front of the collective flag. She tried not to move, stood still to appear strong. It took five takes for everyone to stand still. She would later see the video with Lee's narration.
