The three voices made the destined and their families look towards the newcomers that instantly surrounded Haruto Motomiya and awaited instructions from Davis.
Jun trembled in fear because she had heard of the two females' ruthlessness and power, she feared not only for her father but for everyone else that was there.
"Who the fuck are you?" asked Haruto still not understanding the graveness of the situation "Get out of here, this is none of your business, it's between me and the
brat"
The destined tensed as they heard the man talk about Davis like that, what he had once said was true and they couldn't believe it, their parents looked shocked and
concerned, the arrival of the three individuals had taken the mood to an even tenser stage.
"On the contrary, if you lay a hand on the dark king, then we shall be forced to act and believe me when I say that we can be very intimidating" said Victoria as her
eyes turned to a darker color which showed an impending menace
"DAD! STOP IT! YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT HE'S CAPABLE OF!" yelled Jun to her dad who just stood there looking confused as to why her daughter was so scared of
the people there
"My good man, I am going to give you five seconds to release the king of darkness" said Wisemon calmly
"Or else, I will personally drive a sword thru your jugular vein" completed Alexia as she sent the group a sadistic smirk
Davis knew that his angels would not hesitate to kill if ordered to, but that would mess up all his plan, he needed to calm the situation, he could technically beat up
the man to a pulp if needed, there were not many people outside since the show was almost starting but he decided to act with the elegance that had maintained him
alive for such a long time.
"Haruto, you don't want to do this, think about what you would lose, you would be jailed for hurting a minor, not only that but you would lose your family, your life,
come on mate, be smart and let me go" he said
"Don't tell me what to do!" said the man venomously
"If you don't comply then you leave me no choice. Eye of Nightmare!"
The power of mind compulsion was invoked making everyone take a step back as they saw the man's eyes go to a dull dead color and his face bleach out any
emotion that it had been showing.
"Haruto Motomiya, you will never again lay a hand on me or the people I care about, is that clear?" he asked as the compulsion ended
"Yes, master" answered Haruto in a robot-like voice
Fear creeped into the hearts of everyone that had witnessed the event that had gone down, the child of miracles, the leader of the destined, he was now a different
being, the parents didn't know what it was but based on what they had just seen they figured that he had somehow turned evil and that those three people were his
minions.
Haruto let go of Davis and walked back towards his family calm as if nothing had happened, the chosen of darkness signaled his angels and Wisemon to stand at his
side so that he could walk with them to the show.
"I apologize for the brute show that was put on, now onto more important things" he said "I hope that you all enjoy your evening" he said politely "Ladies" he said as
he turned to look at all the women present both mothers, sisters, angels and destined "All of you look exquisitely beautiful tonight, one is honored to be in the
presence of such beauty" he said as many of the present women couldn't help but give a small smile at his compliment, his words were directed at the group but his
eyes were looking at Kari who did the same thing and for a brief seconds their gazes met.
Davis then headed towards Matt who was at his father's side, he looked at the blond boy who was dressed in his black leather jacket with the teenage wolfs logo on
the back; he extended a hand to him and said with confidence.
"Matt, I wish you the best of luck"
Matt looked at Davis's hand and then back at his eyes, he hesitantly took his hand and shook it with firmness, Davis smiled at his and turned around to leave with his
companions but not before saying.
"You'll need it"
The king of darkness walked into the auditorium being followed by his angels and his mentor, the group of destined stood there with their families and not knowing
what to do next, they walked in together after a while but not before their parents asked them the one thing that was on everybody's minds.
"What the hell had just happened?"
Digital World: Central Quadrant: Sovereign Plateau
"It is set, I await your orders my Lords" said Gennai as he looked at the sovereigns who were gathered at the top of the plateau
"The troops are prepared, thousands have gathered to protect their gods, bring us the child and we shall make sure to end the spawn of darkness" said Fanglongmon
"As you wish" said Gennai as he disappeared thru a portal to the human world
Fanglongmon turned to the rest of the sovereigns and nodded at them, he then proceeded to raise his head up high and yelled to the troops that awaited his orders.
"TODAY IS THE DAY, DARKNESS WILL BE FINALLY ERRADICATED, AS THE DEVIL IS CORNERED, YOU SHALL ATTACK, DO NOT HESITATE, SHOOT TO KILL!"
The troops yelled in unison and their voices shook the earth beneath them, the war was coming close, which side would win was a mystery to all those involved.
Odaiba High School Auditiorium
Davis and his group took a seat towards the left front end of the auditorium, they were given looks of admiration and lust by those present, they sat down and
awaited their performance. Glancing at his right side, Davis saw that his former friends and their families had all seated together in the middle of the auditorium on
the first row, this last thing was done so they could cheer Matt on in his performance.
The announcer soon stepped up onto the stage and introduced the rules and regulations of the competition along with the prize for the winner, Davis decided that this
was the correct time for him and his angels to disappear to the back of the stage where they would meet with Kohaku, they quietly snuck out of the auditorium and
made their way to the back. Time passed without anyone noticing the absence of the three individuals, finally it was Matt's turn to perform and this only made the
destined even more oblivious to the fact that Davis and his angels were missing.
"The next participants come from right here, Odaiba high school, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THE TEENAGE WOLFS!"
Matt and his band made their way to the stage, the crowd screamed and girl's voices went high as the blond and his group began to sing.
I'm through with standing in line

The song was shallow as the ones who played it, with the exception of Matt, nobody else in the band cared that much about the meaning of the lyrics, they mostly
concentrated on the attention they got from the female sector, this was reflected in their music, but their fame made them lovable and admired, so the crowd
cheered and sang along with them.

I'd even cut my hair and change my name
Davis, along with Kohaku, Alexia and Victoria watched from afar the performance, although the wolfs had been performing exceptionally, they still lacked the passion
that was needed in music, they were mainly hitting notes and cords with no emotion behind them, Davis caught onto that and knew that he had found a weak spot,
"You hear that don't you" said Davis to Kohaku
"I don't understand, all I hear is music and people" he answered
"No, there is no emotion behind it, they are performing but they aren't doing it out of their hearts"
"But how is that going to help us win?" he asked back
"You'll see, people are driven by shallowness that is true, but they are guided by emotions" said the chosen of darkness as he smiled at Kohaku who still looked
confused

The song ended and the audience sprung into a fit of screams and congratulations to the band, girls yelled Matt's name and the blond looked over to the destined
who were cheering for him along with their families, he had done a good job and he was proud of it.
The participants continued thru the night, many bands, choirs and orchestras presented their musical works to the audience who seemed to be getting more excited
as each new contestant arrived on the stage. Ken glanced over to the side where Davis and the angels had been sitting, but he saw only the man who was
accompanying Davis sitting down serenely as if he was expecting something, or someone.
"Hey guys" he said "Where did Davis go?"
The destined followed Ken's question and their eyes met the empty seats were the hazard group once sat, their gazes searched the auditorium for them but had no
luck, they had disappeared but they maintained their calm based on the fact that the man who had threatened Haruto, was still sitting in the same spot.
"Ladies and gentlemen, this is the last entry of the night, I must say that when I heard the name of the participants I was surprised myself, some of the older crowd
may have heard of them, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, FROM KABUKICHO, THE BAL MASQUE ANGELS!"
The stage auditorium went dark as the lights went out for a couple of seconds, people talked among themselves in the commotion, suddenly the stage lit up again to
reveal two beautifully dressed young woman with masquerade masks covering their delicate faces. As the people admired their inhuman beauty, a male voice
resonated thru the place; it was deep and filled with sadness.
"Good evening" said the voice as everyone turned around to try and find where it was coming from
The destined instantly recognized the voice as Davis and they were just as surprised as the rest of the audience, Davis however continued to speak and apply
emotion to each word that came out of his mouth.
"At first I had decided to sit here and sing about all the things I wished I could have, women, cars, money. But then I realized that I sing from the heart and at the
moment what I feel is something much deeper than that" he finished as the angels began to play a slow tune "Those that are in love, we give so much and yet in the
end we realize that we could do nothing, that we gave our best and yet it wasn't enough"
Everyone was concentrated on the words he was saying, the destined looked around and as the lights once again faded and went back on, they saw him sitting at the
edge of the stage with a matching mask covering his face.
"Please, raise your hands up high if this has happened to you" said Davis
At first people just looked confused at the request but gradually many hands started to appear in the air.
"I feel for you, I have felt the same thing and to those that didn't raise your hand, I will enlighten you a little on what it feels. You try and try but fail again and again,
you love with all your heart and soul only to realize that you were never the one, and yet even after all that pain you still find yourself wanting to spend moments
with that special person, my lord that is painful" said Davis as he gave a small chuckle filled with sadness
The destined let each word that he said sink in, Kari looked at Davis almost with sadness, she knew that there was a high chance that he was referring to their past,
how it had changed since then, how they had changed as well, it was now too late and he knew that.
"You can't stay away, not because you don't want to, but because you're not strong enough" he said as he made a pause and signaled the angels to hit louder notes
"SO THIS ONE'S DEDICATED TO ALL THOSE BROKEN HEARTS, TO ALL THOSE THAT CANT STAY AWAY, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN WE ARE THE BAL MASQUE ANGELS!
AND THIS IS NOT STRONG ENOUGH!" yelled Davis as he began to play and sing.

Davis sang with passion in his voice, the tune became louder and louder, his voice drowned in emotion as he sang the chorus which left many of the participants close
to tears.

Davis held his guitar tighter and jumped off the stage, landing gracefully and close to the spectators he continued his song, he walked around the crowd, he received
many cheers and congratulations from the crowd, the song continued as he was went towards the place where the destined and their families were sitting, their gazes
followed him while he looked at Kari while he sang the last part of the song.
There's nothing I can do.

The song ended with a slow piano and strumming of a guitar courtesy of Alexia and Victoria, the chosen of darkness didn't pay attention to the sound of it, he was
still looking at Kari with an expression that screamed pain, the chosen of light looked at him back with remorse and before she could say anything he turned on his
heel and walked back to the stage.
The silence that had reigned was interrupted by the sudden wildness of the crowd, they went completely wild, people stood up from their seats and clapped loudly,
couples hugged and kissed and those that had raised their hands looked sad and emotional. The angels gave a small bow as they made their way back to the back of
the stage.
Out of everyone in the audience, Matt was probably the one that was the most surprised, he couldn't believe how good these angels were, not only did Davis hit
every note with elegance and passion but his chords and the tune, they were all perfectly performed, and the lyrics, oh the lyrics, where had he learned to write with
so much emotion, the wolfs were definitely in trouble.
Jade's House: Kabukicho
Jade had put Lily to sleep and was now watching a movie marathon on TV, she was enjoying her relaxation, it had been a while since she had time for herself, now
that the lounge was getting more popular there was more work to do, but she would be lying if she said that she didn't appreciate the change, she was earning more
and more money, her expenses were all paid for the month and soon she would be able to move out to a better part of the city. Her eyes gave in, before she was
completely asleep a loud crashing sound was heard, the young woman quickly sprung up from her seat and went over to the kitchen were the sound was coming
from.
She found a cloaked figure in the room, it had apparently broken the doorknob and was heading to the room where Lily was currently sleeping in, it noticed her
presence and quickly spun around to face her.
"It seems that this will be harder than I thought" he said
"WHO ARE YOU? HOW DID YOU GET IN?" she yelled at him while she grabbed a knife from the counter
"Look bitch, we can do this the easy way or the hard way" said the figure while he removed his cloak to reveal a man in his thirties "Hand over the little shit and I
promise to go easy on you"
"WHAT! WHAT DOES LILY HAVE TO DO WITH IT?"
"She is the key to make the fall of the king, now step aside" he said as he went towards Jade who still held the knife firmly in her hand
Jade didn't even move an inch, she bravely stood in front of the man, she was ready to put up a fight if it was needed, she had learned to deal with all kinds of people
while working as a dancer and although she wasn't strong, she was still pretty quick and had very good aim if she wanted to.
Gennai knew that the girl wouldn't stand aside, she had been bribed by that piece of shit to perform all his biddings, he had given her a better life and she was willing
to risk her own in order to thank him for it, oh well, it wouldn't matter in the end, how much is one more.
"LEAVE! LEAVE NOW! OR I SWEAR ILL STAB THE FUCK OUT OF YOU!" said the young woman as she lifted the knife in Gennai's direction
Gennai flashed over to Jade's side before she could do anything to prevent his attack, he grabbed the knife from her hand and pushed it into her neck.
"AHHHH!" yelled Jade
"Foolish girl, you think that you can win against me, when I, I, serve the gods of this dimension, pathetic little human, you are stupider than I thought" said Gennai
as he laughed at the pain the woman was experiencing
Jade couldn't believe how strong the bastard was, the pain was excruciating, her lungs were running out of air and blood was coming out of her neck in copious
amounts, she had to warn Lily, she didn't know what the man wanted with her but she couldn't let her take her, so she did the only thing that she could do in her
situation, she screamed at the top of her lungs.
"LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY" she yelled
The child had been awaken by the commotion and was now a few steps from the kitchen were Jade was currently fighting with Gennai, she hid behind a pot and when
she heard her name, her ears perked up to hear the words that her friend was saying,
"RUN! RUN CHILD! GET HELP!" she said
Gennai was enraged for the child had discovered him, he pushed the knife deep into the jugular of Jade, the blood transformed from drips to a full red shower, the
woman lost her balance and fell to the floor in a crimson pool, she was still alive but not for long. Gennai dropped the knife making it produce a loud clank as it hit the
floor, he kicked Jade in the stomach repeated times, the woman coughed and choked on her blood while Lily stood frozen in her place, she was in shock and couldn't
move,
Finally, Gennai stopped hitting the girl as she closed her eyes and passed out, her breathing was becoming slow and tired, he positioned her body in front of the
refrigerator so that her head was right in the middle of it, he then yanked off the wire and tilted the appliance, he sent one final look of disgust towards the girl and
then he dropped it on her.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" yelled Lily who had closed her eyes at that moment
When she opened them she found the refrigerator covering the top of Jade's body and surrounding it was a pool of blood mixed with brain parts, her head had
apparently exploded leaving her brains splattered across the floor. Gennai wasted no time in petty thoughts of remorse, he immediately went towards the child and
lifted her as one would do with a small animal the girl screamed and kicked with no avail, Tokomon X bit Gennai and although he managed to make him feel pain, he
was still knocked out by a kick to the head.
The servant of the gods carried both the child and digimon towards the portal to the central quadrant, Lily was still kicking him and he had had enough of it, he
twisted her neck enough to make her pass out but not enough to kill her. Before heading out, he grabbed a bottle of nail polisher from the kitchen table and poured
over Jade's body, he found a match and threw it in the woman's direction, this created a fire that began to consume her corpse, he turned on the stove and before
the gas exploded, he grabbed the child and digimon and headed out to deliver the key to defeat the dark king.
Odaiba High School
Davis was currently in the back of the stage with his angels and Kohaku; the boy had congratulated them on their awesome performance and had gotten a thankful
response from the group by letting him know that the success was also his because he played a large role in it. The second round was about to start, but Davis began
to feel weird, his heart began to beat faster, his mind began to race, he began to worry, but he didn't know why, he however had a bad feeling about it, he tried to
mask it but failed in his attempt. He walked over to the front of the auditorium towards the seat in which Wisemon was currently sitting.
"My king, is there something bothering you?" asked the digimon worried
"Sensei, I have a bad feeling, please go check on Lily, I fear that something may have happened to her" he said as he hurriedly gave the address to Wisemon who
immediately sprung out of his seat
"I will do that my king, but please be calm, I am sure that Lily is fine, what you may be getting is merely a case of stage fright, take a deep breath and go prepare
yourself, there is still much to do tonight" advised Wisemon with his characteristic serenity
"Yeah, I guess that you're right, maybe I'm just a little pressured, but can you still check on Lily just to make sure" said Davis rethinking his previous fear
"It will be a pleasure my king, now go, the final round is about to start and you wouldn't want to miss it" said Wisemon as he walked out of the auditorium
The destined had been watching Davis since he had come out of the backstage; they followed his trail and suspected something was wrong when the Middle Eastern
looking man left the building. Davis watched them from afar and decided to settle for only looking at them with a poker face, he retired to the back of the stage and
awaited the start of the second round.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the second round has officially started, now in this round the judges will be all of you" said the announcer as his hand traveled thru the crowd
"Pick your favorite and cheer out loud for them, may the best win and without further or due, LETS GET THIS FINAL ROUND STARTED!"
The announcer finished his message and left the stage, thru the course of the night the participants had a second chance of proving their musical talent to the crowd,
many of the performers dished out their best notes and chords, but all of them fell short to the teenage wolfs and the bal masque angels, the wolfs were loved
because of their fame but the angels had won a special place in the hearts of the people. Matt and his band performed yet another emotionless song that although it
had an impact on the crowd, it still left much to be desired.
The final performance once again belonged to the BAL masque angels, Davis and the angels made their way back to the stage, the chosen of darkness grabbed the
microphone and began to talk to the crowd just like he had done in the first round.
"Ladies and gentlemen, it has been one hell of a night, I never would of thought that I would have such fierce competition and my oh my, I was proven wrong" he
said as he looked at the rest of the participants who were scattered across the building "I previously said that love is painful because one is not strong enough to stay
away and that is true, I maintain that philosophy" he said as he paced over to the side of the auditorium and used the stairs there to lower himself to the audience's
view.
"If I may take a couple of minutes extra, I would like to tell all of you a little story" he said and awaited for anyone to oppose, when he saw that no one tried to
interfere he began "A boy once knew a young girl, from the minute he laid eyes upon her he realized that she was special, she had a beauty that captivated him, her
smile made his heart beat faster and her light surrendered his darkness"
Kari felt a knot on her throat as she heard those words, the rest of the destined looked at her and then at Davis, they knew he was talking about her, the rest of the
people there listened with interest as the story took a darker turn.
"At the time he was going thru some tough situations and she was the one thing that made them bearable, she was an angel, and even though life was shit she still
managed to make him smile each time she said his name, they grew into best friends and everything seemed to be perfect"
Davis then walked over to the center and sat down at the edge of the stage, he looked over to T.K. who was sitting beside Kari and didn't move his eyes from the two
chosen.
"And then he came" he said as he made a pause "When he came everything changed, they instantly clicked, you see, they had been friends since way before he
showed up, so he guessed that it was destiny, and destiny it was, they soon became closer and closer while the boy stood on the sidelines with only a heart filled with
sadness for company.
"WHAT A BITCH!" yelled a bunch of thug looking teenagers from the left side
"Oh it wasn't just her fault, the boy resorted to jealousy and possessiveness but he didn't realize that this only made things worse, he felt her slipping from him and
he did some crazy things to try and keep her at his side. He tried to tell her, tell her what he felt, but to everyone he was just a joke, a poor bastard that was only
fooling around, he tried to separate those that were destined for each other, he tried to better himself, he tried to overcome destiny itself, and he failed"
The chosen of darkness then looked over to the crowd, many girls and even some grown men were shedding tears because of the story, he then set eyes upon Kari,
in the past he would have walked over to her and hugged her until his breath ran out, but now he had given up, it was no use, and he was going to make sure that
those feelings would never interfere with his thoughts ever again. He then saw someone he hadn't expected to see, it was Chikara, Cody's grandfather, he was raising
his hand as if to ask a question, Davis quickly masked his surprise and signaled him to yell out his question.
"There, you sir, is there something you would like to add?" he said politely
Chikara didn't have a microphone but he still managed to get his voice loud enough so that the first rows could hear him "I actually have a question young man, what
was the finale of the story, what happened to that young boy that you mentioned?" he asked
Davis smiled at the elder and looked around the room, all eyes were on him, they all wanted to know what the question was and what answer he would give.
"To those that didn't hear that question I will repeat that. I have been asked the finale of the young man's story, what was his end" he said as he thought of an
answer
"He realized that it was too painful, he threw out his emotions and sealed himself from any human relationship, his heart grew as cold as ice and after years he
understood that it was good to be numb, it was good that she was gone forever and it was good that he had given up on light because he now was a refugee of a
darkness he thrived in" finished Davis as everyone gasped at the end of the story
"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THIS HERE IS A SPECIAL TREAT, THIS IS A SORT OF ANTHEM FOR THE BROKEN HEARTED THAT HAVE MADE IT ACROSS AN OCEAN OF
HEARTACHE. THIS IS LAST TO KNOW!"
Davis stopped his words and began to follow the piano that Alexia was currently playing, while Victoria strummed the acoustic guitar with delicacy, the chosen of
darkness grabbed the electric guitar from the stage floor and continued to sing at the audience level.
"She just walked away.
Why didn't she tell me

The words sunk into the destined like knifes, their parents sensed this and did not know how to react, Jun was trying to hold back tears while Ken put a comforting
arm around her, Kari held T.K.'s hand for support and he reciprocated the action. It was all too much, too much emotion was going around and sooner or later
someone was going to break.
"You were the first to say
That we were not ok
You were the first to lie
When we were not alright
This was my first love
She was the first to go

I was the last to know"
The dark king looked at T.K when he said those words, his eyes pierced the soul of the chosen of hope while said chosen looked from Kari and back to him, he began
to see Kari hold his hand and that made him even angrier than before, he was not jealous, he was pissed off, his eyes were beginning to flash and that was the
defining moment of the performance, he sat down on the floor again and all music stopped, the lights went out again and a bluish reflection began to shine on the
spot were Davis was standing.
He lowered his head as if he was shameful and began to sing the last part of the song, he began to rise from the floor in slow motion, and then something happened,
something that made those present gasp in shock.
"I'll be the first to say
That now I'm ok"
Two beautiful black wings appeared on the chosen's back, he was now an angel that released his pain with emotional lyrics and sad tunes.
"And for the first time
I've opened up my eyes"
As he sang this part, he grabbed his mask and uncovered his face, he opened his eyes and the reflection of the light managed to fool people into believing that his
flashing eye color was normal. Students were surprised beyond belief as the realized who was behind the mask, they all knew who the transfer student was but it was
now clear that he had many more "talents" than he gave himself credit for.

The song ended when the last piano tune was hit with perfection and clarity, the hall stood in silence, not one sound, only breathing and pulsing hearts. First it was
the front and back row that got up from their seats and then the rest followed, it was a standing ovation like no other, they whistled, they cheered, they clapped and
cried, it had been touching and beautiful.
"Ladies and gentlemen, that was an amazing performance by the BAL masque angels, and what a surprise was that ending, but the prize is still vacant, who will win
this night? We shall now after a brief 30 minute intermission, during that time please feel free to visit our cafeteria for refreshments and meals" said the announcer as
people started to pile over the exit to the cafeteria
Davis and the angels retired to the back of the stage, they congratulated Kohaku on the lighting effect and assured him that the wings he had seen on Davis's back
were only made of material. Kohaku decided to go meet his parents for food at the cafeteria, the hazard group was left alone again, but the feeling came back, that
haunting emotion of Lily being in danger came back to Davis.
Meanwhile
Jade's House: Kabukicho
The apartment was on fire, the firefighters could barely contain the flames and Wisemon knew that this wasn't a normal incident, he could smell Gennai and he knew
that the situation had just turned dangerous, he feared not only for the child but also for the sanity of the king. He opened a portal to Odaiba and made his way back
to inform Davis as soon as possible.
Odaiba High School
Davis was currently on the soccer field, he had decided to get fresh air, he couldn't get that feeling out of his mind and although the angels were trying to calm him
down, he still felt sick. In the distance he saw Wisemon sprinting towards him, agitated and tense, his mentor arrived at his side and looked at him with fear but not
fear of him but fear for him.
"My king"
"Yes sensei, what happened?" asked Davis
"They took her, they took Lily" said Wisemon
Davis nodded his head while trying to assimilate the meaning of the words he had just been told, his eyes flared and his fangs grew so large that they began to draw
blood from his lower lip, his chest burned; his rage and fear for Lily were incomparable.
"HOW?! WHAT DID THEY DO TO HER? WHERE DID THEY TAKE HER!" he yelled at his mentor
"I don't know what their plan is, but they probably took her to the central quadrant, no one is allowed there without their permission, my king listen to me, you have
to calm down" said Wisemon in a tense tone unlike his regularly calm way of talking
"I WILL KILL THEM ALL!" he yelled in a vicious growl "But first I will find out who else knows about this and where did they take her"
Davis walked back rapidly to the parking lot where the destined and their families were currently hanging out; he called Alexia and Victoria for backup while Wisemon
trailed behind him. He found the group chatting calmly while eating and enjoying their night, the lot was empty since everyone was too busy in the cafeteria, and this
benefited him.
He wasted no time in introductions, he commanded the angels to petrify everyone and then he grabbed Tai by the neck, he lifted him high up in the sky with one
hand, his grip was hard enough to produce an instant bruise on Tai's neck, he growled and showed his demonic features as he asked the question.
"Where is the child?"
"W-Wh-What are-y-you talking about?" managed to ask Tai thru his suffocation
"WHERE HAVE YOU TAKEN THE CHILD? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HER!?" He yelled losing his patience
He got tired of the chosen's silence and he quickly pulled out his chrome pistol and pointed it at Tai's forehead.
"NO! TAI" yelled Kari
"DAVIS LEAVE HIM, WE DON'T KNOW WHAT YOURE TALKING ABOUT" yelled Ken
Davis however was in no mood to hear pleads, he inched closer to Tai and said to him in the most bone chilling voice a human being could produce.
"If you don't tell me where she is, I swear on my parent's graves that I will make you watch as I kill all those you have ever loved"
Lily has been taken hostage and Davis seems to be losing it, what will the dark king do to Tai? Will he kill those he loves? Will he continue with his
plan for revenge? What will happen to Lily?

God! Finally, it was a long chapter but here it is, I honestly feel bad for killing Jade off but I felt it was necessary to prove a point, desperate times
call for desperate measures. I also realized that on March 9 this story turned one year old and for that reason I would like to thank all those that
took their time to review it or simply to read it, I thank you all for being such good motivators and I hope that you continue to like this story.
