Hah...finally got this done...

Won't lie to y'all, I honestly just wanted to get this chapter over with, so I apologize if it's not as good as it should be...

Anyway, enjoy!

"Hey."

I narrowed my gaze as Saber entered the room. The sound of Ember Celica unfolding quickly filled the room as Saber shot a look at Yang. The older girl narrowed her gaze on him as well as he said, "I just want to…say 'hi' to Ruby real quick."

I don't like the way he said that….

Saber continued his way towards Ruby's bed. I could feel Ruby's nervous grip on my shirt as his smile slowly, but surely, turned sinister. I grit my teeth, praying that I wouldn't have to pick a fight with him right then and there.

That's the last thing I need….

"Hold it right there…."

I blinked, suddenly seeing Sword standing in front of Saber. I then turned to Sierra, who blinked in surprise as well at the sight off Sword, practically a complete stranger, standing off against Saber. Saber's smile turned into a frown as Dagger ran between the two, trying to split them apart. Suddenly, she appeared next to Sierra, who pat her head and said, "Just stay riiiight here…okay?"

The girl blinked several times before nodding.

Whatever Sierra told her, she's listening.

I then turned back to the two guys, who were still in a standoff.

"And just who the hell are you," Saber asked Sword.

"Sword Alters," he replied, "Leader and member of Team SWRD."

Saber flinched, seemingly in surprise at Sword's statement. He grit his teeth, reaching back for his weapon as Sword did the same, preparing to draw. The two's aura became intense, flooding the room as they stared each other down.

*knock knock*

All of us, minus the two who were staring each other down, turned to face the door.

Immediately, Weiss stood up and walked over to it, opening it as Ozpin appeared and asked, "I've heard that Saber Steelcore has been walking around campus."

I watched Weiss step to the side as Ozpin took a peek, immediately spotting Saber at a standoff with Sword.

"Steelcore," the professor stated, "Come with me."

Saber, however, paid no attention to the headmaster as he slowly began reaching down for his sword. Sword did the same, albeit carefully, as the two continued their standoff. I gripped Ruby a bit tighter as Ozpin said, "Saber!"

The former leader finally sighed, calming down his intensity as he turned around. Sword sighed himself, relaxing as Saber left the room. However, before he left, he shot me a glare before Ozpin ushered him away.

I sighed, finally releasing my death grip on Ruby as Sword turned around and asked, "Are you guys alright?"

"That's what I should be asking you," I replied. Dagger immediately ran up to Sword, embracing him as Lima hopped off of Blake's bed, taking a few experimental sniffs of him. She then proceeded to rubbing her cheek against his, catching him by surprise. I could tell he held back his retaliation reflex as she gingerly walked back over to Blake's bed.

I turned to face Ruby, whose eyes were wide with fear. Her grip trembled as she dug her face into my chest. I then heard a sigh, turning to Sword, who had apparently taken to leaning against the nearby bed. Dagger walked up to him, concerned as he said, "That guy…what a dude…."

"His zone's pretty intense, eh?"

Sword turned to Sierra, who in turn, looked at me and said, "Just ask Delta."

"That guy," I said to Sword, "If I didn't know any better, I would've said that, at the time of our…'fiasco' with him, he was a better swordsman than I was."

Sword whistled and said, "No kidding…I believe it."

I had taken to walking around with Ruby, be it to class or just back to her dorm room. Hell, I didn't want that freak messing with my girlfriend. That was the last thing I needed; Ruby scarred again.

"Alright," Ruby said as we approached her classroom, "Thanks, Del."

"No prob, Rubes," I replied, giving her a quick kiss as I began walking away. I could hear Ruby close the door before her, as well as Yang's voice walking up to her to greet her.

Satisfied, I began making my way to my own classroom. I began contemplating on how in the world did Saber get back into Beacon considering he had been sent to rehab. I then shivered at the thought of what he would've done to Ruby, causing me to grit my teeth.

Oh well…can't dwell on it….

I suddenly felt something yank at the collar of my shirt, causing me to turn around to see Hotel as he asked, "Where're you going?"

I was about to answer, only to look up at the room number he was holding me from.

"…Thank you, Hotel," I said to him, walking into the classroom.

Sword continued fiddling with his food, going through all of the scenarios with Saber as leader. He half-lidded his eyes, feeling depression settle over his whole being as Dagger walked up to him, placing a hand on his shoulder. Looking up at her, he sighed as she asked, "You alright?"

"…I'm…fine…," he replied.

Windsickle, who was sitting nearby, however, wasn't buying it.

Wind didn't say anything, but simply called Dagger, catching her attention. He motioned for her to go over to him, making her skip over to him quickly as she leaned down to hear what he wanted to say.

"Don't push it," Wind said to her. Dagger blinked several times, then asked, "Why?"

"I bet that he's going through the scenarios of Saber being team leader," he continued, "He's wondering if he's really suited for the job."

Dagger was about ready to walk over to Sword to tell him the truth, but Wind grabbed her arm, causing her to turn around and see him shaking his head. She opened her mouth to say something, only for him to cut her off by saying, "Don't try to explain to him; he probably won't bother listening."

Gritting her teeth, Dagger finally chose to sit next to Wind, letting their new leader contemplate his current situation.

Spoiler alert: I'm having Saber fight in the next chapter...not sure if I should have Sword fighting him, or if Delta should...any thoughts?
