Summary: "I'm sorry I need to leave, but I think that we both need time, so I'm leaving for the city where I can forget it all." Only one problem, what city is that? And Phineas has to find her, or lose her forever.

A/N: Yup... it's been a year... For those of you that don't remember me... Well.. I don't blame you. My name is Myron Greenleaf, but you can call me Myron. My prime time was back in 2011-2013... And I've never really gone back to what I love. Now that I have some spare time, I'm hoping to just 'jump right to it!'

By the way, be on the lookout for my next series (since I'm not quite sure if any of my other stories will be updated in the near future) called The Loyal Brotherhood of the Fireside Boys. The Fireside Boys for short. Coming to you sometime within the next week or two. After rereading the site's rules, I didn't see anything that prevents me from doing this, so at the end, I'll show you a preview of the next series. PM me and let me know what you think of it.

Yeah, this is a really long Authors Note isn't it?

I do not own Phineas and Ferb. All © go to Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh.

Chapter 12: Finding the Trail

The trip back to Shanghai went along uneventfully for Phineas. Upon arriving in the city, Phineas sighed and looked around. With a population of over fourteen million people, Shanghai wouldn't be easy to scavenge around for clues to where Isabella went. Pulling out a portable DNA tracker, Phineas fed another strand of Isabella's hair into the machine, not really expecting anything to change.

However, instead of the usual red light that would indicate that it found nothing in the immediate vicinity, it popped up the green light. Phineas, hadn't really paid much attention to it, already putting it back into the backpack when he noticed the green light. Immediately, Phineas pulled out his phone and dialed home to Ferb.

"FERB!" Phineas shouted after ringing stopped and before Ferb could even say a word. "I FOUND A TRACE OF HER IN SHANGHAI! That shouldn't even be possible. She physically changed her DNA last time we checked."

"Unless it is wearing off," Ferb replied. Phineas' eyes shot wide open. "Or it could be she used her hairbrush after she changed but before she left."

"That makes sense," Phineas reasoned. "I don't know... I get the feeling I'm just turning around in circles here."

"Well, where have you been?" Ferb asked.

"Well, there was Hawaii, Beijing, Shanghai, Lhasi, and now back in Shanghai," Phineas listed them off one by one. Ferb nodded for each one. In fact, you could hear Ferb nod over the phone. How did he do that?...

"I feel like she wouldn't stay in China. How else can you leave China at the moment?" Ferb asked as Phineas walked up to the public transportation post. It was all in Mandarin Chinese, but Phineas could still read it due to his universal translator.

"Let's see, Beijing, Beijing, Danville, Lhasi, Lhasi, Beijing, Hong Kong, Beijing, Lhasi, Washington D.C., Burbank... yeah the list goes on, but nothing new other than that from what I can tell," Phineas continued. "Well, if she wouldn't stay in China, then that means she either flew to D.C., California, returned home, or she did travel west. I'm betting she didn't return to the states, so that means she went West... which means... I went the wrong way... I was already in Lhasi."

"Well, guess you have a train to catch then," Ferb replied smugly. Or you can use the super fast shoes that we created a while ago. They should be in your backpack if you never noticed them."

"What? You put those in my backpack?" Phineas unslung his backpack and put it onto the ground and dug through the backpack until he got to the boots. "Found them. How did I miss them? They're kind of obvious.."

"Great use of space," was all Ferb replied with. "Anyway, if you can, try to reconfigure the DNA tracker to help point you in the right direction. It should be easily manageable, even for you."

"Yeah I'll do that on the train...wait... what do you mean easily manageable for me?" Phineas asked.

Ferb rolled his eyes. "Just get going." Ferb then hung up the phone.

A/N: Yeah... I need to do more writing and less Dota 2... Ends badly for me. Anyway. Review! Or not at all! Up to you :D

Oh wait... I mentioned at the beginning that I would give you a preview of the new series. Here you go. Enjoy:

"Alright everyone, calm down and take some seats," a familiar voice came from the head of the room. "My name is Isabella Garcia-Shapiro, troop leader of the Fireside Girls Troop 46231 and I'm here to help you get organized to become a troop."

"Isabella!" Phineas said with some shock and then a smile. Isabella waved. "Well, guess we'd better take our seats."

When everyone was seated, Isabella continued. "Because this is a completely new organization, the job was given to the Fireside Girls to try and get you all set up. Girls, hand them their manuals." The rest of the Fireside Girls appeared almost out of nowhere and handed each of them a rather small looking book.

When Phineas took his, he was almost dragged to the ground by how heavy the manual was.

"This… is your Fireside Boys manual. In it you will find all rules and regulations, instructions on how to do almost anything and everything, and much, much more," Isabella explained.
