Unknown Dimension: Unknown Location
Davis stared at what seemed to be his own reflection for quite a while, his mind began to analyze the possibility of that image being more than a simple
reflection, it was alive, it was something or someone.
"Who are you?" he asked clearly confused at what he had heard from the reflection before "Where am I?"
"Ahh" replied the figure inside the glass wall "You are asking the wrong questions Davis, I can't help you if you don't ask the right question"
Davis stared blankly at the wall while he tried to think of something correct to ask, his mind however was clouded with a thousand replaying images of
despair, he remembered Lily's death vividly, his temper began to rise tremendously and before he could help it; his anger was over the roof as he stared
menacingly at the reflection.
"Fine" he said lowly "If you don't want to help me then I guess you are of no use to me…..POSITRON LASER!" he yelled
But nothing happened, the cannon did not appear, the massive energy was never produced, this occurrence left Davis in a complete state of shock for this
was the first time since he had become king of the dark hazard that his power had failed him. He tried many more times to attack the reflection but it only
kept looking at him with sadness and a small smile on its lips, he yelled to the unknown and cursed his luck because he had realized that for the first time in
many years, he was completely powerless.
"Now, are you finished?" asked the reflection as Davis could only look back at it with a tired yet angry face "You seem very lost as to what questions to ask,
but you are not as stupid as the old dragon was, let me give you a small clue"
As the reflection finished, various images of Davis's life began to play in front of him, from the moments he was a child and used to play with her mother in
the Roman mansion they owned, to the times when he had roamed the world with his angels in search of the central quadrant.
"The question my dear Davis, is not who am I? But who are you?" said the reflection as it giggled happily as if he had just said the funniest of jokes
Sovereign Plateau
"FALLEN APOCALYPSE!"
The creature had invoked its attack and within a matter of milliseconds its opponents were running for their lives, thousands of lightning bolts fell from the
lava colored sky and announced what seemed to be the end of all hope of defeating the angel of genocide. They ran and dodged the bolts but with each
movement that the chosen made they were met with another bolt that they had to dodge, it was useless, there were thousands if not millions of lightning
bolts. And so one by one they fell, victim to the powers that were beyond reason, their bodies pierced and bloody as a result of the sheer force of the attack,
as the angels managed to lift their heads up from the dirt and look up at the angelic figure still standing and smiling devilishly at them, they realized what
they feared, they had lost.
Unknown Dimension: Unknown Location
"I am Davis Gabriel Luvianne, chosen of courage, friendship and miracles. I am the king of the dark hazard, that is who I am" answered Davis to the question
that the reflection had asked
"Ahh, interesting" said the reflection as it began to pace around the length of the mirror wall "I know what your titles are Davis, I'm afraid I can't tell you
more because you have not answered my question correctly"
"WHAT?!" yelled Davis back at the reflection in anger "What else do you want to know?" he said "I come from a wealthy family, I'm an orphan, I was born in
Rome. What more do you want?" he said
But the reflection did not answer, it instead simply paced around the wall with a hand on its chin waiting for the right words to come to its mouth, its pacing
came to a halt after some seconds and now it was standing in front of Davis and staring at him right in the eye.
"Tell me, Davis, is this who you are?"
The reflection disappeared and was replaced with what Davis thought was an image of a wasteland, but it wasn't an image, it was the point of view of an
ongoing battle. The once thriving land had been decimated into a dead wasteland covered in blood, everything that was once there was now painted in red,
data flew into the sky as those that were still alive gave their last agonizing breaths and succumbed to eternal darkness, the image began to close its range
of view and directed its gaze towards the near ground, it was there where the view gave a terrifying show of loss and valor.
It was the destined, all of his former friends plus the ones that had come from different dimensions to aid them in their battle against him and his angels, all
of them were on the floor squirming in pain, their bodies pierced by lightning bolts while they bled on the ground, Ai and Mako huddled behind two beyond
frightened Jeri and Alice who despite being trembling in fear they still blocked the two children and tried to protect them from the thing that was responsible
for their friend's current conditions.
"T-ai, K-Ken, Ka-Kari, WHAT IS HAPPENING!?" yelled Davis back at the reflection
No one answered the question, Davis continued to yell at the image to stop, he wanted to stop whatever was attacking his former friends, he had lost the
battle, he had lost the war, he had lost Lily, he couldn't take losing anyone else. He asked himself what he could do, but inside of that strange place he was
powerless, all he could do was stand back as he watched the battle escalate right to its climax, it was the end of the beginning and the dawning of the
conclusion.
Sovereign Plateau
It was a beautiful sight for the angel of genocide, red, red everywhere, oh what a beauty, death was in the air, those poor children could not stand a chance
against it, but it was time for the playing to stop, its sight was no longer on the chosen, it was on the sky. As its wings began to flap its body began to
elevate slowly and then rapidly, its eyes set on the location of its future opponents while its mind had one thing inside, total annihilation.
The sovereigns watched in fear as the genocide angel made its way to the barrier that was protecting their sacred home, the creature once again began to
attack the barrier over and over again, and with each attack that the barrier took it weakened even further.
"KAMIKAZEE INFERNO!" yelled the creature over and over again as the barrier cracked
It was done, the barrier shattered like a glass dove and came crashing down into the ground with a loud shattering sound, the road to victory was now clear
for the angel of genocide, the gods could see their demise in front of them, while the creature took a few seconds to recuperate from the massive attacks it
had delivered to the barrier; the chosen who were still on the floor unable to move due to their massive injuries remembered that Davis once said that he
was going to bathe the dimension with the blood of the sovereigns, now it seemed that that creature was about to make that promise come true.
Unknown Dimension: Unknown Location
"The barrier was broken, it broke it. But how? What is that thing?" thought Davis as he gripped both of his hands tightly in desperation
The chosen of the dark hazard could only stand and watch as the image began to be seen from a considerable distance from the ground, this signaled the
ascension of the genocidal creature. Davis could see the horizon and the ground below, bodies splattered everywhere, the chosen on the floor in agonizing
pain, his angels suffering horribly and what would haunt him for the rest of his life; he could see Lily's body far away from the battle, motionless and pale,
the light of purity no longer gracing her eyes, in that precise moment he asked himself, was it all worth it? The answer did not matter anymore because
everything that he had cared or loved was now lost.
"Ahh, such remorse, I can see it in your eyes oh dear Davis, don't waste time in asking questions when you have yet to answer mine, take your time but
remember, time is passing" said the voice of the reflection as the image continued to be seen in the glass wall
"BUT WHAT ANSWER?! WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO SAY?!" he yelled back at the wall in desperation but all he got as an answer was a small giggle
Sovereign Plateau
At the top of the plateau stood the five sovereigns cowering in fear of what was approaching, the creature was slowly flying up towards them, finally after
what felt like millenniums, there was no more wing flapping and all sounds ceased on top of the plateau, the creature was now standing at the edge of the
top, it had made it. Sounds of light steps that seemed to be coming from a child graced the dimension's walls; the creature was advancing on its opponents
and was now in front of them.
"I will bathe with your blood and rip out your cores while I indulge in the burning smell of your souls and everything you ever were, HAHAHAHAHA!" laughed
the creature
The sovereigns trembled in fear at the sound of the creature's voice, they backed away from the angel but knew they could not outrun it, they had seen its
power and knew that one by one they would fall, but they refused to let the darkness win.
"We have all served this world with all of our conviction, we talked about this and I'm afraid that there is no other choice but to do it" said Fanglongmon
"B-But surely you don't mean-"said Baihumon with uncertainty
"There is no other way, I agree" said Azulongmon as the other two sovereigns nodded their heads
"CREATURE! TAKE A LOOK AT THE POWERS OF THE GODS, KNEEL BEFORE THEM" yelled Fanglongmon as the words that would turn the tides on the battle
were heard
"FANGLONGMON!"
"AZULONGMON!"
"BAIHUMON!"
"ZQUIAOMON!"
"EBONWUMON!"
"DNA DIGIVOLVE TOO…..HOLYSUSANOOMON!"
"It's Susanoomon" said Takuya
"I don't believe it, those dragons became Susanoomon" said J.P.
"It's not the same Susanoomon, this one looks quite stronger" commented Kouichi
The four gigantic dragons that once ruled the digital world had disappeared, in its place was now a tall white warrior that carried twin swords and a heavy
metallic crest on its back, its body armor was white from head to toe, on his head were the symbols of each of the sovereigns, its eyes glared at the creature
of genocide; it was preparing to end the battle once and for all.
"Interesting, very interesting, perhaps this will make this boring battle a little more exciting" said the creature as it licked its lips lusciously –
"BEAST, YOU CONTAMINATE THIS HOLY SITE WITH YOUR MERE PRESENCE, IN THE NAME OF ALL THAT IS LIGHT…LETS END THIS!"
The creature merely nodded and with a smile answered back "As you wish"
This event had transpired into being something more than a simple battle or an act of revenge, it was two different sides, two different ways of seeing
existence, the two most powerful forces in the universe; light versus darkness, the questions that lingered was who would be victorious, and whoever that
was, what would happen after that?
Unknown Dimension: Unknown Location
"Those dragons" growled Davis in anger "They digivolved, I must get back or else they might kill the chosen, but how?" he mused "
The image ceased once again and was replaced by the same reflection with a dark background, for the first time in the moments that Davis had seen it, it
was looking rather distressed.
"Davis, you must answer my question, there is little time left. Who are you?"
Davis looked back at the image and felt his desperation rise again, he didn't know what to say or do, he had already answered the question but it seemed to
be incorrect, so what could he do now? If he waited any longer then the new sovereign might try and kill the chosen because of their defiance. He felt
useless, so useless, his power was gone, his purity was gone, he had lost everything, and all he could do was let out a long and raspy sigh as he fell to his
knees and screamed at the reflection.
"I DON'T KNOW WHAT I AM SUPPOSED TO ANSWER!"
"Then I am afraid that time will run out, one more chance; that is all you will be given and if you were to fail then you will lose…..forever" said the reflection
as the image of the final battle was once again seen
Sovereign Plateau
"I am growing bored of your antics, if you wish to destroy me then attack. You have this belief that just because you managed to change your forms and gain
a little bit of power that you can actually stand against someone like me. Hahahaha! Let me dry of all that blood of yours just like I did with all of those
worthless minions that you called allies.
"ARRRRRGHHHHHH!" yelled Holysusanoomon as he charged at his opponent
"YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THEM GROVELING ON THE FLOOR LIKE COWARDS! THEY BEGGED AND BEGGED FOR THEIR LIVES! HAHAHAHA!" yelled the
creature
The chosen and hazard group had been able to gain a small recuperation from the attacks suffered but where still in no condition to fight, nevertheless they
still watched the battle with careful looks, whoever won the battle would decide their fates.
"KAMIKAZEE INFERNO!"
"OROCHI SLASH!"
The genocidal creature launched itself at Susanoomon in a massive tornado of fire, the latter retaliated by invoking the gigantic sword of light named Orochi
and diving towards it in hopes of piercing its body. The attacks were so powerful and equal in force that they clashed and canceled each other out, this
caused the two opponents to come crashing down in opposite directions from the top of the plateau, a gigantic cloud of smoke and dust that extended many
meters into the sky. The chosen had managed to move out of the way of where the main battle was currently taking place, they had debated on escaping but
had admitted that they were far to injured to make the long journey back to the real world, they watched intently as a mildly injured Susanoomon managed
to lift himself up from the floor covered in dust and rocks, what terrified them is that the genocide angel was already standing in front of him with a maniacal
smile, this revealed what they had feared from the start; the angel of genocide was more powerful.
Susanoomon realized that the creature was now standing in front of him; he quickly went for his blade
"OROC-"the warrior god was cut off by the angel of genocide as it attacked him faster
"DEATH VECTORS!"
The arm-shaped vectors appeared from the creature's back and swiftly grabbed hold of Holysusanoomon, the holy digimon squirmed and tried to break free
but his attempts seemed to be futile, the vectors pressed harder against the digimon's pressure points thus making him fall to his knees.
"Look how the mighty have fallen" chuckled the creature as its vectors strangled the digimon "That same face, those same eyes, your expression is exactly
like those of your lackeys, you do not fool me God, you are so small, so insignificant, but most importantly; YOU ARE SCARED!"
While the creature lectured the warrior god, he gave unknowingly gave him enough momentum to prepare an attack, the pressure of the vectors was broken
as Holysusanoomon pushed the angel of genocide back and retaliated by lifting his blade into the sky and preparing his own attack
"EIGHT THUNDER GODS!"
Hundreds of lightning bolts similar to the ones that the creature of darkness had used against the Chosen began to rain on it, he had been too caught up in
the moment and was unable to dodge the attack, unlike the Fallen Apocalypse attack, this one did not do any damage to anyone else, all of the bolts seemed
to be concentrated only on that specific target.
The creature took all of the bolts at once, Holysusanoomon had stepped back a considerable amount of distance in order to give the bolts enough space to
make enough damage so that he could finish the creature once and for all. The light produced by the lightning bolts blinded all those present and left them
unable to register anything for a few seconds, as the light began to fade the creature began to be seen, it was alive even after so much damage, its body had
sustained a considerable amount of damage, the bleeding from its body parts combined with the blood from its own transformation made it look as if it had
been under a rain of blood, its eyes however still wore that pure anger that made hearts tremble.
"YOU ARE ALIVE!" yelled Holysusanoomon in frustration "IT'S NOT POSSIBLE!"
Meanwhile, the creature stood up and brushed off the extra dirt and rock from its body, it walked towards the warrior god with decision; its steps were hard
and loud and its breathing had become agitated. Holysusanoomon had begun to panic and instead of thinking of a logical tactic of offense; he responded by
throwing all of his most powerful attacks at the creature, this quickly proved to be the biggest mistake that the warrior made.
The creature protected itself from the attacks by creating a barrier very similar to the one Davis had used previously to defend himself against the army of
digimon, the only thing that differentiated the two barriers was that this one was much stronger; as it was able to withstand all of the attacks without a
problem other than pushing back the angel of genocide a few steps.
"NO! NO! NO! THE LIGHT WILL PREVAIL!" yelled Holysusanoomon in fury and desperation as he saw his attacks be blocked
But those words did not reach their intended listener because the angel of genocide was gone; it had vanished from the face of the earth as if it had never
been there right in front of everyone's eyes.
"Where did it go?" asked Tai
"He vanished into thin air" said Wisemon
The creature suddenly appeared at the side of the warrior god and delivered the most powerful of kicks to the midsection that the chosen and the hazard
group had ever seen, the impact was so strong that it created a loud boom that was heard throughout the quadrant, this proved to the witnesses that not
only was the angel of darkness still able to battle formidably but that it had also apparently gained the ability to teleport.
"Think I would leave so soon, HAHAHAHA!" laughed the creature as Holysusanoomon doubled over in pain not being able to resist such a kick
While Holysusanoomon was doubled in pain his opponent took the opportunity to cause him further damage, he held both fists tangled with each other and
delivered various hits to the god's spinal section, the latter made him fall on all fours screaming in pain, the creature grabbed Holysusanoomon's sword and
lifted it up to the sky, everyone thought that it would kill the god in that instant, but it didn't, it instead threw the weapon with enough strength that it was
sent flying towards the ends of the quadrant thus making it useless for Holysusanoomon to use it.
"Now that that's out of the way, it's time for me to taste that delicious blood of yours" said the creature as it picked the injured digimon from the ground
It's wings began to open up once again as it sent Holysusanoomon high above the ground and then proceeded to attack him in mid air before the helpless
digimon could reach the floor, the creature connected his opponent with an array of powerful punches and kicks, as the warrior god grew weaker the angel
caught him in mid air once again and dived for the ground but before they reached it; it pushed its opponent further down and used its body as a shield
against the impact, thus literally wiping the floor with Holysusanoomon who took all of the damage face first into the ground.
The digimon was now on the ground agonizing in pain while its opponent landed gracefully in front of him, his armor was broken beyond repair and the
shining white color that once represented a new hope of defeating the darkness had now been tainted in a bright red courtesy of his own blood which just
kept pouring and pouring out with each second that passed.
"Look at me" said the angel of genocide in an emotionless voice as its opponent could barely open his eyes
It grew tired of waiting for a response and instead grabbed the digimon by the neck and lifted its head so that their gazes could meet.
"LOOK AT ME!" it yelled "These eyes will be the last thing that you will see, it has been a long time since I've had this much fun, thank you for setting me
free, but our time together is over"
The dark hazard power was invoked and it created a massive black sword that rivaled that of Holysusanoomon, the genocide angel cocked it with all of its
strength and pushed it against the god's lower stomach.
"AR-GH" yelled Holysusanoomon as he felt the blade pierce his armor and skin
"In the absence of light, only darkness will remain" said the creature lowly "FAREWELL MY DEAR SOVEREIGNS"
With that being said, it twisted the blade rapidly until it created a small tornado inside of Holysusanoomon's wound, not only that but it also rammed it hard
into the upper parts of his body until the blade was practically at the digimon's throat. The digimon choked on its blood and begged for mercy in words filled
with cowardice, but the angel did not stop, it kept pushing and pushing the blade until it finally reached the digimon's head, it gave the sword one more
round of light speed twists which made Holysusanoomon's body finally explode from the pressure that was being applied to it, and so it ended, the lives of
those that swore that the darkness would not prevail, of those that preached that the light would always be victorious in battle, of those that judge those that
were innocent only because of where their loyalties stood, all of them had lost.
TADAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! There it is ladies and gentlemen, the end of the sovereigns, the triumph of darkness over light. The story is not
over yet so don't worry; I still have to make some things clear before I end this.
I apologize once again for taking so long to update but these writer blocks have begun to affect me. I mentioned in the last chapter that I
was going through some tough times and that I was experiencing depression, the motivation I got from all of you and the positive words
were far from what I had expected, THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING SUCH GOOD PEOPLE! I cannot begin to express how much it means to me, to
you it may seem like a good word that you could say to anyone but to me it is priceless. Once again, thank you all and I'll see you next time.
