~104 years later~
Miku chewed on her eraser as she tried to keep herself from falling asleep from hearing the teacher speak. She smiled when she saw one of her best friends, Kaito, asleep with a book in front of him. Next to her was Luka, her other best friend, focusing on braiding her hair instead of the teacher.
Miku glanced at the clock. 'Just one more minute' she thought as she saw the clock hand at 2:30 pm.
Suddenly, the bell rang as everyone packed their bags immediately.
"C'mon, Kaito" Said Luka, ruffling his hair, waking him up.
"I won the argument Len! Shut up!" Rin said as she left the classroom.
"Yes, yes, have a gold star, job well done" Said Len sarcastically.
"Ugh, i'm so annoyed, such impudent talk towards me!" Rin shouted at him.
"Are the twins fighting again?" Miku whispered to Luka.
Luka nodded, looking at them.
"Ahg, i'm so tired" Kaito yawned "I wish we didn't have to learn about the boring feudal era"
"Hurry up, Kaito! Luka!" Miku laughed. "Alright, alright." Kaito smiled "Are you sure, Luka? Aren't you busy with your royal duties?" "No, I finished them so I could come with you guys to the fair." "Mmmm! Taste these pears! They taste amazing! They must be in season or something!" Miku cried out. "Did you pay for that?" Kaito raised his eyebrows. "That-that doesn't matter." Miku smiled sheepishly.
The scene flashed against Miku's mind.
"Pears" She whispered. She didn't know why, but the scene felt so familiar "Did we ever go to some fair together of some sort? And I stole a pear?" She asked the two.
"Fair? Pears? You stole something?" Luka asked.
