Hi, I'm back! TBH, I did not want to write this chapter :/ But I lasted long enough to make it random ramblings anyway...although it might not make any sense why I randomly threw the ending to this so suddenly...meh. Enjoy!

"Oww…," Ruby groaned out, supporting herself with the wall. I looked at her, concerned as she slowly limped her way back to her room. I had offered to give her a hand back to her room, but she had declined, believing that she could just run to her room. She only made it three meters before she went to a tumbling stop.

"You sure you don't need help?"

"Actually," she finally stated, "I think I do…."

With a chuckle, I picked her up in a bridal style, getting a squeak of surprise from her as I began making my way to Team RWBY's room.

"W-wait! Delta!"

"Hmm?"

"Don't carry me like-!"

Suddenly, the sound of a door opening caught our attention. I blinked, slowly turning around to see Herald leaving her room, turning to face us. The plaxen blonde stared at us for a good minute before comprehending who we were, blinking several times before I said, "Morning, Herald."

The girl continued to stare at me, sighing as she began walking down the hall.

I then took off in a sprint, knowing all too well that the other two in Echo's team were gossipers.

Skidding to a stop, I sighed, having reached Ruby's room in seconds of running, remembering that her room wasn't too far from Echo's. Setting her down, she gave me a light bat on the chest as I looked at her questioningly. Ruby puffed a cheek, then let out a sigh as she hugged me and said, "…See you later, Del."

"And I to you," I replied, taking a quick kiss as I took off down the hall.

I sat on my bed, watching Lima walk around a box that had come in for her just a couple minutes ago. Said partner sniffed at it curiously, then picked up it, shaking it several times. An audible shuffling of the packing peanuts inside filled the room, catching Sierra's attention as Lima set it on the desk, reading the label on the box as her ears flattened.

I believe…embarrassment?

With a sigh, she grabbed a nearby knife and cut the tape, opening the box as she pulled out a weapons kit. I blinked in confusion as she shook the box several times, causing a piece of paper to fall out and float down and onto the ground. I blinked again as she bent over to pick it up, her ears flattening even more so as Sierra strided over to her, reading the note out loud.

"'Dear Lima,'" she stated, "This is a gift from your mom because she kept harping on me to get you something more practical than an axe. Love you much. Dmitri Kerrigan."

"Your dad?"

Lima turned to face me as I corrected, "Your dad, I assume…?"

Lima furrowed her brow, nodding in an annoyed gesture as she set the weapons kit onto the desk, digging deeper into the peanuts again as she pulled out what seemed like a flyer. As well as another note. Wow, her mom must be a hard ass. I thought my mom was one. Poor Lima.

"'Dear Lima,'" Sierra read from the second note, "'A young lady such as yourself shouldn't be using something impractical like an axe because you honestly look like a barbarian, so I've sent something more majestic for you. Hope you remain safe. Ara Kerrigan."

"…huh…," I snorted, suddenly seeing another sheet fall out from beneath the second note. Sierra picked it up, taking a few reads, then suddenly burst into laughter. I blinked in confusion, then looked at Lima, who was reading over the third note, growling and groaning at the same time. I then got up off my bed, walked over to them, and read the note.

"P.S.," I read, "Delta, correct? If Windsickle so much as lays a finger on my precious gem, will you kill him for me? Thank you."

I blinked, processing the information as Sierra recomposed herself and said, "…Well…too late for that."

"Damn straight," Hotel called out from his bed.

Shaking my head, I turned back to Lima, who was clearly flustered after what had just transpired as I said, "Ah, don't worry about it, partner."

With a sigh, Lima cut open the kit, revealing the parts for her new weapon.

A bow.

That was similar to the leader that we fought in last years tournament.

"Waitwaitwaitwaitwait," I said, "Red flag flying. They mass produce these?"

"Yeah," Sierra answered immediately, "They aren't that hard to master. Heck, I could probably master using one in a couple days."

"Huh," I replied as Lima began pulling the parts out one by one.

But the idea of Lima using a bow that turns into dual blades…hmm…interesting….

I then recalled the note, laughing for no reason whatsoever.

"So what're we gonna do with the packing peanuts?"

We all turned to Hotel, who was glaring at us as he said, "Fuck you, fuck you, and fuck you too."

"Sorry, I'm not bi," I said back to him, picking the box up. I could tell he was about to jump off his bed and lay a haymaker on me before a knock on the door caught our attention. Looked at Lima who said, "…Dagger…."

Bingo.

"Target acquired," I could hear Sierra say to me as she took the box from me. I giggled a bit as I opened the door, revealing that it indeed was Dagger. I almost burst out laughing as I asked, "What's up?"

"Is Sierra in-?"

Suddenly, a rain of packing peanuts fell on her. All of us began laughing as Dagger, who had closed her eyes, slowly opened them, glaring at me. Why me in particular, I don't know. She yelled, immediately jumping at me before Rusty hooked an arm around her neck, stopping her as she flailed wildly. Sierra then knocked her head with the butt of a knife and said, "Easy there, girl."

With a sigh, Dagger stopped flailing as Sword took a peek into the room and said, "Hey Sierra, I need to discuss something with you."

"Alright," Sierra replied, motioning for Wind to enter the room.

Wind walked in, albeit feeling a little awkward as Lima's ears began wagging happily. She immediately nuzzled his cheek as I held the note up to his face. I nearly lost it as he raised an eyebrow, then quickly turned into a look of horror as he looked at Lima. Said girl blinked several times in confusion as he said, "Umm…uhh…umm…."

Wind looked up at me, clearly scared, as I couldn't hold back anymore and burst out laughing.

"Don't worry," I said to him, "I'm not that mean!"

"So what's up?"

Sierra began walking with Sword as he said, "We're going on a mission together."

"Really?"

Sword nodded and replied, "Yeah…I'm not sure why, but it's just gonna be the two of us…."

"Eh?"

Sierra raised an eyebrow in curiosity as he grimaced and continued, "Apparently my parents suggested it…."

"Oh god," Sierra replied, "Don't tell me they're gonna try and put us together…."

"Who the hell knows," he replied.

"Haha, well, you have Weiss and I have E…cho…," Sierra trailed off, her eyes lingering towards the nearby window, seeing said man talking with another girl. She blinked several times, stopping completely as they seemingly laughed together.

Sierra suddenly felt her chest flare up, causing her to gasp, albeit quietly. Her heart throbbed as she felt her face heat up at the sight. Trying to brush it off, she attempted to smile, only to be unable to as Echo smiled at the girl, who was clearly younger than her, bringing a hand up to stroke her cheek. The girl was a cute one, she had to give her that, but the fact that it was Echo….

"…how cute…," she croaked out, flinching a bit at the sound of her voice cracking up as Echo slowly leaned down towards her face. Sierra held her breath, praying that he wouldn't kiss her. Echo, however, continued leaning down towards her.

"Don't do it," she thought to herself, clenching her fist, "Goddammit, don't do it…!"

Sierra couldn't look away. She couldn't tear her eyes away. Her eyes began to water as a stray tear streaked down her cheek.

Echo's lips met the girl's.

Sierra's heart shattered.

Letting out a chocking sound, she forgot about Sword, running away, her eyes growing watery. She turned several corners, trying to get away from everyone as she finally reached an abandoned corner of the campus. Her eyes grew watery as she let out a laugh, only for it to turn into sobs as she curled into a ball, digging her face into her knees.
