*SMACK*
I watched in awe at the sight of Sierra slapping Echo across the cheek. Said cousin blinked several times in confusion as he caressed the cheek she had slapped, looking at her, his eyes clearly confused. Sierra's breathing began to grow harder as she clenched the hand she had slapped him with into a fist. Her eyes began to glow red as she reeled back, gritting her teeth as Echo braced himself for another blow. However, the only thing he was met with was a small gust of wind as she sprinted out of the team room.
I blinked in confusion at what had just transpired. Echo did the same as he motioned to follow her, only to get stopped by Sword, who redirected him back into our room.
"Seriously Sierra, are you alright?"
I watched my leader, who had been this way since she got back, concern written all over my face as she sighed and said, "I'm…fine Delta…."
Lima's ears perked in distress as she walked over, attempting to cheer her up. Sierra returned a weak smile, rubbing said partners head as Lima's ears wagged happily. With a sigh, Lima laid down next to her, looking at what Sierra was writing up as a knock on the door suddenly caught our attention.
I stood up, striding over to open the door, being greeted by Echo.
"Yo," he said, raising a hand at me. I blinked, ready to greet him until I was roughly pushed to the side. I quickly regained my composure, only to see Sierra reel back. Everything seemingly ran in slow motion as the audible sound of her palm meeting his cheek filled the air.
"Sit."
Echo obediently did as he was told as Sword turned to me and said, "You should probably interrogate him."
Already on it.
"Dude," I asked, "What did you do?"
Echo shrugged as Sword hit him on the back of the head, causing him to cringe over. I was about ready to start a fight with Sword until he asked, "You sure you're telling the truth?"
Huh?
Echo turned around to face him and asked, "The fuck are you talking about?"
"Let's just say," Sword began, walking around the room, "Sierra and I are walking around…Sierra spots you from a nearby window…you think you aren't seen, so you do something stupid."
"What are you talking about…?"
I could tell Echo was getting a wee bit pissed as Sword pulled out his scroll, scrolling through whatever he was looking for, finally shoving it in his face. Echo raised an eyebrow, suddenly widening his eyes in disbelief. He immediately reached for Sword's scroll, accidentally knocking it over towards me. Thanks to my ridiculous reaction time, I caught it in midair, taking a look at the picture that was on. Ooh, I swear if I weren't so good at holding back, Echo would've been introduced to my sword.
"What. The. FUCK ECHO!"
I had screamed so loud, Lima cringed. I stood up, dropping the scroll on my bed as I walked over to him, albeit pissed off as I grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. Echo's eyes immediately turned away from my own in shame as I threw him against the door.
"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU!?"
Echo closed his eyes, suddenly pushing me off of him. Unfortunately, I still had my hands on his collar, dragging him down with me as I held him against the ground, materializing one of my swords into my hand as I held the tip of the blade to his face.
"Fucking. Talk to me," I ordered him, watching his purple orbs as he wavered.
"I…," he finally spoke up, "I…I got lost in the moment!"
If I weren't pissed off any more than I was, I sure was now as I stabbed my sword into the floor and said, "Echo…!"
Echo looked back up at me.
"You don't fucking do that. You don't fucking 'get caught in the moment,'" I said to him, suddenly feeling my hair standing up on ends. I jumped off of him as he suddenly let out a burst of electricity, pulling my sword back with me as he got back up on his feet. Echo grimaced, then turned back to me and said, "I got caught in the moment. So what. I'm a piece of shit, Delta. I didn't keep my word. So what? What the fuck's your problem!?"
The tension in the room grew heavy.
I grit my teeth; even without his weapon, Echo was able to hold his own. He was that good at controlling his semblance.
Echo kept his aura running, ready to fry me. I braced myself, getting ready to summon my other swords, only to see him seemingly disappear. I blinked in confusion, looking around, turning to Lima, who immediately looked outside. I ran over to the window, quickly spotting him looking around, finally turning around. I followed his eyes, spotting Sierra.
Echo's eyes widened in fear at the silver-haired girl as her aura swirled dangerously around her. Sierra's glare was squarely on him as she gripped her knives eagerly. Echo slowly turned to face her.
"Sierra-."
Suddenly, Sierra was right up in his face. Echo's eyes widened in shock as she suddenly appeared where she was standing just moments before. Echo opened his mouth to speak again, only for her to appear right in front of him again, her breath hot on his neck as she held a knife to his neck. Echo was speechless, quickly spotting a glint of silver at his throat.
"Oh, I know…love…," she breathed out, "I know you're getting bored of me…."
Suddenly, he felt something prick at his neck as she continued, "You know…all I have to do is put some pressure on this knife to end your suffering…."
"S-Sierra-!"
"Shhh…I know what you're gonna say…."
"Wait-!"
"No no, I won't kill you…."
Just as suddenly as she appeared in front of him, she was suddenly behind him, causing him to turn around. Sierra sighed and said, "…that girl…she's cute, isn't she…?"
"Sierra-."
"Let's break up."
Echo blinked, comprehending what she had just said as she continued, "She's pretty…she ought to keep you entertained…."
"Sierra, let me explain-!"
"No, I understand," she cut him off again, "We're through…I know you'd much rather be sleeping around than being in an empty relationship…."
"Hey, I'm sorry-."
"'Sorry,'" she said, turning around to face him, "Isn't going to cut it, this time…."
"But Sierra-!"
"No, I don't want to hear it."
Echo furrowed his brows fearfully as she said, "Look…I know you've been sleeping around…I know you too well, Echo…."
"But…that's…!"
Sierra finally sighed, shaking her head.
"We're through."
Echo looked up at her, seeing her turn her back to him.
"Wait Sierra!"
Sierra promptly disappeared. Echo could feel his heart get torn out of his chest as he feel to his knees. His head went spiraling as he held his chest, feeling the pain in his chest flame up as his eyes went watery. His breathing grew heavy as he got back to his feet, walking up to a nearby tree, sitting down at it. A stray tear managed its way down his cheek as he gritted his teeth, shutting his eyes tightly.
I looked at the door, suddenly feeling a weight lean on me. I blinked, looking at the silver hair that was leaning on me as she said, "…I'm…a joke…."
"Sierra…," I said to her, holding her shoulders, "No you aren't."
"Delta…," she croaked out, "I can't…!"
Lima walked up to us, rubbing herself on the silverette, who immediately jumped to the Faunus girl. Said girl nearly jumped out of her skin at the suddenness of the lunge, immediately bringing a hand up to stroke our leader's hair. I then turned to Hotel, who was staring at us intently. He blinked, then sighed, sitting up as he walked up to her.
"Sierra…," he said, pulling her into an embrace. Almost like he was her brother or something that was about to kick someone's ass for bullying her. He then shot a look at me, causing me to shiver as he said, "I'm gonna teach Echo a little lesson tomorrow…."
