Hey, y'all! Here's part 2 to Sword meeting Weiss. Enjoy!
Sword continued wandering around, trying to track down Weiss. It seemed like he had been walking around for what seemed like forever as he soon began hearing her voice. Raising an eyebrow, he took note of the sobbing sound that grew steadily louder as he soon found her curled up behind the fountain. Blinking, he approached her and said, "Yo."
Weiss flinched, slowly turning to face him as he stood up next to her. Wiping her tears away, she quickly asked, "What do you want?"
"Gee, that's rude," Sword replied. Weiss opened her mouth to talk back, only to shut it as she looked back down, hiding her reddened eyes as she muttered something he couldn't quite hear. Sword smiled, taking it as an apology as he asked, "So…what's a princess like you doing here?"
"Does it matter?"
Sword looked down at her and said, "You don't need to give me an attitude."
"You started it," Weiss shot back.
"That's BS," he replied, "You started out rude."
"Oh please," she said back. Sword grimaced, finally flopping onto the ground. Weiss eyed him suspiciously, then finally remembered who he was.
"Sword Alters was it?"
"Hmm?"
"Umm…I…umm…sorry…."
"For what?"
Sword looked at her expectantly as she seemingly flinched. Raising an eyebrow again, he took notice of the sky blue irises that were trying to flee from his gaze. Smirking, he scooted ever so slightly closer to her as she continued, "F-for being rude…!"
"It's all good," he replied, still scooting closer to her. Weiss took unknowingly took several deep breaths as Sword silently chuckled to himself, soon finding himself nearly touching her. She then turned, jumping and falling back as she found him sitting uncomfortably close. Sword let out a burst of laughter as she scrambled back to her feet, raising a fist as if she wanted to hit him.
"Whoa, easy now, Icy," Sword said, regaining his composure. Weiss growled, forcing her hand back down as he patted the ground next to him, motioning for her to sit. Weiss frowned, wary, but took the seat anyway as Sword changed his mentality.
"…Don't worry…," Sword said to her, "I never spent much time with my folks, either…."
Weiss flinched, turning to him in shock as he continued, "I guess you can say I lived a sheltered life…mom was always traveling and dad always cooped himself up in his office…."
"Wait a moment," Weiss interjected, "What are you talking about?"
"I'm talking about," Sword replied, looking at her, "How we're similar."
Weiss nearly burst into laughter, taking it for sarcasm.
"You are hilarious," she sarcastically stated.
Sword, however, frowned as he said, "…Okay then…Weiss Schnee, heiress to Schnee Dust Company."
This time, Weiss didn't have anything to say to him. In fact, she was more amazed than anything at the fact that he had said it with little hesitation. What also got her attention, however, was the fact that he said it so fluently. Almost like he was used to it.
"Surprised?"
Weiss snapped out of her thought process as he stated, "I'm actually from the kingdom next over…not that it would matter, but I'm the son of a rising company, Alters Security."
"Wha-!?"
Weiss comprehended the information quickly, covering her mouth as Sword turned away from her again. With a sigh, he continued.
"Don't ask me why I'm here, I'm here by my own choice. And don't worry; my parents support me…barely."
Weiss took note of the "barely" as he motioned for the nearby bushes. Taking a peak that way, Weiss quickly spotted what appeared to be unnatural rustling in some bushes, causing her to grimace as Sword stated, "Can't go nowhere without HAVING THOSE GUYS FOLLOWING ME!"
Suddenly, the bush appeared to flinch as Sword sighed in annoyance and said, "So yeah…it sucks…."
"Seems like it does," Weiss replied, unconsciously leaning onto him. Sword blinked, then jumped a little as she quickly realized what she was doing. Quickly getting off of him, she was quick to apologize until he raised a finger to his lips, then stood up and walked over to the bush.
"You really need not to do that anymore," Sword said to it. Suddenly, the bush was lifted off the ground as a man, dressed much like one of Junior's men, patted the dust off of his clothing and said, "But it's my job, sir."
Narrowing his gaze, Sword sighed and pulled out his wallet, pulling out a wad of cash and handing it to the man. The man readjusted his glasses, looking at the wad as Sword said, "Don't tell my folks, and you'll be fine. Beat it."
With that, the man quickly left.
Sword sighed once again, turning back to Weiss, who was staring in awe at what he had just did.
"I do it all the time," Sword said, walking up to her, "Sometimes it works, other times it bites me in the ass and the bloody S.O.B.'s get free money."
"Uh-huh," Weiss replied, suddenly finding herself looking up at him. For an underclassmen, he sure was tall. For a rich kid, as well, he seemed to like dressing up casually.
"Oh yeah," Sword stated, remembering that he had not properly introduced himself, "Name's Sword Alters. Pleasure to meet you."
Reaching for her hand, Sword landed a light kiss on it, causing Weiss to blush. She quickly turned away and replied, "W-Weiss Schnee! Nice to meet you too!"
"Sword!"
Sword awoke from his nap, seeing Weiss hovering over him, causing him to blush as she said, "Goodness, you team got me since you weren't waking up."
Looking to his left, he quickly noticed Rust and Dagger, then to his right, seeing Wind with Lima. How he managed to pry her away from Team SHLD, he didn't know, but what was more important was that Weiss was hovering over him. Hovering over him.
"Sword?"
With a grin, Sword suddenly picked her up, getting a yelp of surprise as he quickly ran outside with her.
I continued walking Ruby to her room as she continued talking rubbish to me. Mostly about how much Jaune's improved. Then the talk about how I was being too rough on her lately. Hey, what can I say? I love making her scream.
Suddenly, I felt the aura of Sword mixed in with Weiss, causing me to turn as I was met with a trail of dust, as well as Weiss screaming for Ruby to save her. I turned to said girlfriend, who was looking back at me in question. Blinking, we both chuckled, then burst into laughter as I hooked an arm around her back and said, "…Guess she's gonna have to figure her relationship out."
Ruby rested her head on my shoulder, letting out an "mmhmm" of agreement as I continued walking her to her room.
