Motherly Advice
The Burrow was filled with noise as the Weasley's prepared for dinner. Molly was nothing around the kitchen, trying her best to sort out the food before everyone went hungry. She had not been expecting her eldest son to pop by - bringing his darling wife and adorable daughter. She had also not expected Charlie to visit from Romania the same day Percy came back from his soul-searching trip to Greece - with his new girlfriend, Audrey. If that wasn't bad enough she had invited Hermione over, just waiting for Ron to ake his move, and George was spending tonight at home instead of the shop. It was going to be one crazy evening.
Finally everything was on it's way to being finished, all she needed was to set the table - which had to be moved outside due to the number of people dining tonight - and plate up. So when Harry and Ginny arrived, Molly was not surprised. She had even expected it. She greeted them with a stressed smile and open arms.
Dinner went off with a bang. The food was delicious and everything worked out in the end. As Molly looked around the table, she was glad that they had all managed to make it here today. It was not until she had seen how much they had all changed, did she realised how much she truly missed taking care of seven children (as well as a few hang-ons). Tears were in Molly's eyes before they started speaking and continued until the end.
"Mum," Bill stood, a smile plastered on his face, "Dad. We thought we'd come by to tell you," He began, "We're having another baby!" Molly gasped at the news, her hand laying across her chest in excitement. Charlie smiled as he too stood.
"Mum, I'm coming home."
"What?!" Molly asked, believing she misheard her second eldest.
"They're creating a small colony of dragons here in London, and they want me to lead it up."
After that the news kept coming. George had got a new partner who had dedicated a lot into rebuilding the store. Percy and Audrey were going to live together. Finally, Harry stood.
"Uh, I guess it's my turn. I've asked Ginny to marry me, and she said 'yes'!" He was smiling at the youngest Weasley with a look of pure love as he said it.
Molly could hardly breathe as she stared at her children. She burst into tears that wracked her body and everyone looked concerned. Arthur softly placed a hand on her shoulder, trying to comfort her. Finally the tears subsided and she smiled.
"Just a bit of motherly advice... come home more often!" She laughed.
The rest of the night went peacefully and Molly could not remember the last time she had felt this happy.
