Hi guys, I'm back! I honestly was stumped on this chapter, but I've got the gist of the rest of the story now. BTW, we're going on the final 10 chapters, so I hope y'all enjoyed this story. Anyway, enjoy!
"I've figured it out, Delta!"
I looked at Echo with a raised eyebrow. I then took a look around the library, spotting no one but Lima around, engrossed in her book. Other than her, the coast was clear so I leaned in to hear my cousin.
"Sierra," he stated, "Is a quiet one!"
I blinked at him, not quite understanding what he meant. Echo, who had a bright smile on his face, blinked back, then began to straighten out as he quickly realized that I had absolutely no idea what he was talking about. His lips then slowly curled into a grin as he said, "You know…Sierra's a…'quiet one.'"
Quiet one? Seriously, what is…he…oh…oh? Wait, WHAT!?
"ECHO WHAT THE FU-!?"
"eeeeEEEEEEEECCCHOOOOOOOOOO!"
Suddenly, Sierra appeared out of nowhere and delivered a drop kick. I watched in slow comic humor as Echo's face caved in on itself, then the blood that was flying out of nose as he went flying into the far wall. I blinked in amazement, then turned to Sierra who sighed and said, "Don't worry about him; he'll live."
"Eheheh, I'll make note of that," I replied nervously, turning away from him. But still, to think that Sierra actually let him between her legs…I don't think I should even think about it.
Sierra blinked, then sighed as she walked over to Echo and helped him back up. My cousin suddenly pulled her into a hug, clearly catching her off guard as he said something to her. Only to end up cringing on the ground as she nailed a low blow on him. Ouch.
"Oh, so she's finally not a virgin?"
I turned around, seeing Hotel with Yang wrapped around his arm as Lima, who had been sitting next to me, hopped out of her seat and hopped over to them, running a circle around them and sniffing them, then wagged her ears as Yang pet her head.
"Alright," Yang said, "Gotta go find Ruby. Catch you later, babe."
"Sure thing sunshine," Hotel replied as Yang took off. I couldn't help but shake my head as Hotel walked over, Lima right on his trail as he asked me, "What in hell happened to him?"
"Did something stupid…again…," I replied as Sierra clapped her hands and walked back over to us. She then noticed Hotel, who apparently had raised an eyebrow in curiosity, causing her to sigh as she sat down opposite of me. Hotel reluctantly took the seat next to her as Lima plopped back down next to me, re-engrossing herself in her book.
It was then that I took notice of Sierra's uncomfortable shifting. It was slight, but it was there. Almost reminded me of the day after I did it with Ruby for the first time, with Ruby's restless shifting. She then let out a sigh as she stood back up and said, "…I'm gonna go for a walk."
"Huh? O-okay," I replied as she stood up and walked over to Echo, yanking him back to his feet and dragging him out of the library.
"…huh…," I said, blinking in surprise as I turned back down towards the chess board I had completely forgot about, moving my rook yet again as I said, "Checkmate."
"Now then, onto more pressing matters," Sierra stated, the team having returned to the dorm room, "We should probably get packed up soon since our flight's in a couple hours."
Wait, what!?
"And you couldn't care to tell us earlier?"
"Shut it, Hotel," Sierra stated, "I would've but I was busy."
"Yeah," he mocked, "'busy.'"
"Why I oughta-!"
"That," I interjected, "Is enough."
Sierra took a deep breath, then cleared her throat as she continued, "We're seeded at the top of Beacon's teams this year. Get ready to take on some of the best."
"Whoa," Hotel exclaimed sitting up from his usual position. I'd also be lying if I said I didn't believe it. No wonder Ruby was giving me that talk about expectations.
"Yeah," Sierra continued, "I believe it was between…us, RWBY, JNPR, and CFVY."
"That must've been quite the decision by Ozpin," I replied.
"…Bother…."
I jumped at Lima's mumbling behind me, having forgotten that she was behind me. I turned around and saw her ears perked up in distress, along with a loaded suitcase that she couldn't quite close. One of her cheeks were puffed out in anger as I completely spun and asked, "What's up, partner?"
"…Won't fit…," she said, pointing to her sewing equipment. I looked at the bucket, then at her suitcase, then back at the bucket. I avoided laughing out loud since said bucket held her favorite hobby as Sierra hopped over beds and peeked over Lima's shoulder. She looked at the suitcase first, then back at the bucket, the back at the suitcase, then jumped back over to her bed and went under it and pulled out an outrageously large backpack, causing me to gawk at the size of it as she jumped back over to Lima and presented it.
Jeez! And I thought Ruby's backpack was big!
I decided to keep my mouth shut as Sierra somehow managed to squish both into the backpack. Lima's ears perked up in excitement as she began peppering Sierra's face with kisses. Sierra, in turn, began laughing as she attempted to push Lima away before the PA announced, "ATTENTION ALL TEAMS GOING TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS YEAR'S VYTAL FESTIVAL! YOUR SCHEDULED FLIGHTS WILL LEAVE IN 15 MINUTES! PLEASE GO TO THE DOCKING AREA IMMEDIATELY!"
And then a huge troll.
"THAT MEANS YOU, TEAM SHLD!"
With that, we all burst out laughing as I guessed it must've been Ms. Goodwitch at the PA.
Well, understandable considering we're always causing trouble…Hotel.
After calming down, I quickly packed up my belongings as did Sierra and Hotel. Lima attempted to lift the backpack, but to no avail as her ears waved haplessly. I looked at her, then at Hotel, motioning for him to help her. Hotel raised an eyebrow in curiosity, then picked the bag up with relative ease. Understandably so since said partner wasn't physically as strong as Sierra was, let alone Hotel and I.
With that, the surrounding area turned gray as Sierra said, "Alright, let's move out, SHLD!"
Speaking of the Vytal Festival, which teams should I have going? And where should it be held? Reviews and/or PM please!
