Don't you guys just love getting sudden bursts of brilliance? I initially had this chapter done with 91, but it was past midnight and I needed sleep. Anyway, enjoy!

"Attention all teams. You will be staying in the kingdom Vacuo for the remainder of the year. Please do enjoy your stay, and remember; be safe, or you will be sent back to Vale immediately."

I chuckled to myself at the sentence the AI had just said, immediately assuming that Ms. Goodwitch had said the entire speech. Sierra chuckled next to me as Hotel jumped back away as the shuttle jerked to a landing. Taking a look outside the ship, I immediately saw the many students of Vacuo, taking note that no one was dressed in any fancy uniform like we were. It was then that I remembered my talk with Sun a while back, recalling that he said Vacuo didn't have a uniform policy.

Gee, they're lucky.

Looking back at my team, I took note of Lima just waking up from the nap she had taken, a cute trail of drool rolling down her mouth as she looked back and forth. I waved at her, catching her attention as she wiped the drool from her mouth, rubbing her eyes. I chuckled again as the shuttle door opened up.

Standing up, I stretched my now stiff muscles as the other ships landed.

Hiking my bag onto my shoulder, I exited the shuttle, immediately shielding my eyes from the brutal sun with my hand as I scanned the area, quickly spotting Ruby with her team, who waved at me. I smiled and waved back, feeling someone pat my back. Turning around, I watched as Sierra raised an eyebrow with a smirk, motioning back to the team. I nodded and turned back to face Ruby, who was waving a "See you later" wave. I nodded in appreciation as I walked over to Lima and picked up her bag, handing it to Hotel.

"Here's our base," Sierra stated while holding a piece of paper. Amazingly, instead of dorms, we got hotel rooms. Paid by who? Well, by Beacon. Overkill in my opinion, but that was beyond the fact.

"Well…," I said.

"Overkill," Sierra finished.

"Agreed," Hotel replied.

"…," Lima blinked, perking her ears occasionally as she immediately began exploring the room. I followed suit, spinning around and soaking in the new surroundings. I could hear Hotel flop onto one of the beds as we began to unpack our belongings.

why do I think I should know something? VERY important?

The suddenly super naggy feeling that I should've remembered something important filled my mind as Sierra said, "Make yourselves at home, SHLD."

"Yes ma'am," I replied, falling back into my bed.

Strolling through the school campus, Hotel cracked a random joke, causing all of us to start laughing as I took a look at all of the students who shot occasional glances. I could tell that there was gossip about which team we were, picking up SWRD here, CFVY there, and finally one person who got it right with SHLD a little bit further away. I could hear Lima giggle to herself as I held back a grin. However, Sierra, who had been paying attention to Hotel the whole time, turned to him and said, "That's a good one."

"Thank you," Hotel replied as we entered what appeared to be the mess hall.

The random chatter of students from all over Remnant filled the building as we looked around, trying to find a table for four.

"Here we go," I stated, plopping down onto a bench as the others followed suit with Sierra and Lima opposite of Hotel and I.

Opening the tray of food, I immediately took notice of Lima and Hotel immediately salivating over the food under the lid.

A hearty meal? I guess….

However, right as we were about to dig in, I instinctively raised my hand, pinching my fingers behind my head, catching something. Surprised, I moved my hand back to where I could see it, seeing that I had caught what appeared to be a dart. I looked up at Sierra, who was making it look like she hadn't seen what had happened as she shot a quick glare behind me. I half-lidded my eyes, observing the dart carefully before Sierra slowly began reaching for a fork. I looked at Hotel from the corner of my eye, seeing his eyes closed, while Lima slurped at her punch with a straw, her ears perked.

Punching the table, I launched myself upward as Sierra rolled over the table and began throwing her projectiles, metal clashing against metal as the café began to panic. As if in slow motion, I caught a quick glance of a white hair as I materialized my swords in hand, deflecting darts that had been thrown my way.

Upon landing on the ground, Sierra appeared and deflected several more darts before the barrage finally ended. Looking around, it appeared as if nothing had happened and that we were just posing. Aside from Hotel and Lima really not having moved in the entire ordeal. Gee, thanks guys.

"But Ozpin, do you remember what happened to Team RWBY?"

"Even so, I have no doubt that Team SHLD will-."

Just then, Ozpin walked into the café with General Ironwood. I blinked, quickly dematerializing my swords as their eyes fell solely on us. Sierra shot a glance that way as well, then looked all around us at the numerous darts that laid stuck in the ground.

"What," Ironwood stated, "In the world happened here?"

Plucking a dart from the ground, I inspected it momentarily, then took note of Lima growling in the background. Turning to face her, I could see her golden eyes locked squarely on me. Or rather, what I was holding.

"Umm…?"

Standing up, she immediately walked over to me, snatching the dart away from me as she said, "…sorry…."

Huh?

"For what?"

Lima simply growled some more, then walked over to a nearby support beam. Blinking in confusion, I was suddenly surprised when she dragged what appeared to be a young boy, about a year younger than she was, from behind the beam. And if Lima was ever pissed, oh trust me, she was pissed.

"Wait! Stop! I'm sorry!"

All of us stared on as Lima then stated, "…my apologies…."

With that, she bowed at the two adults, then flipped the boy around, holding him up with one arm.

And began spanking him.

I watched in shock and amazement at the act that she was performing on the poor guy, slowly turning to Sierra, who had her eyes wide in surprise as well. I then turned to Hotel, who was silently holding back his laughter as the boy's pained screams filled the air.

"Ow! No-ow! Sis sto-oowww!"

Wait wait wait wait…SIS!?

Now I was surprised; Lima never told me she had siblings in her family.

Dropping the poor boy, who was now caressing his obviously hurting behind, Lima's ears perked up angrily as she then bonked on him the head, causing him to double over and hold his head, his now evident wolf ears folding in distress.

"Lima," I heard Sierra call out, "umm…who exactly…is this…?"

Said partner turned to us with her glare still plastered on her face, causing all of us, including the two adults, to flinch as she growled, "…Wolx…younger brother…."

"Ow sis," the boy, dubbed Wolx said, "You should really stop saying so few words. You're never going to get a nice guy at this rate-."

Suddenly, she bonked him again, causing him to double over once more before the doors came flying open.

"And yes," a woman with wolf ears said, "That also means that we're going to en…trust…Bea…con…."

The woman then turned her attention to us. I immediately took notice of Lima's ears perking up, this time in surprise. Her eye widened as the man escorting her began to speak again, only for the woman to raise her hand to stop him. The woman began to approach Lima, causing me to prepare for a fight before Sierra said, "Stand down, Delta."

Relaxing, I watched on as the woman raised her hand, stroking Lima's cheek. Lima's ears then began wagging happily as the woman kissed her forehead and said, "Well…I didn't think I'd see you this soon, dear."

"…Mum…," Lima cooed out, kissing the woman's cheek.

Blinking in surprise, I continued watching as the two then turned their attention back to the boy, who now had his ears folded in fear. The woman then looked at me, causing me to flinch, then she looked at the many darts around me. I won't lie; Lima's mom had one intimidating gaze.

"…Wolx…," the woman then stated, "…Do you want to be under the care of your father again?"

The boy flinched violently and shook his head. However, that was then answered with Lima bonking him on the head yet again. I sighed, smiling hopelessly as the woman then walked over to me and bowed, catching me off guard.

"Excuse me, young man."

"Umm…yes?"

"I apologize for my son's actions," she stated, "I'll see to it that he's properly punished."

"Uh…huh…," I replied hesitantly. The woman's golden colored eyes then met my own, causing me to shiver as she then looked at Sierra. Sierra bowed in respect and said, "Sierra Hawthorne. Pleasure to meet you, Miss."

"Ara," the woman replied, bowing in return, Ara Kerrigan-Lupis."

Ah, it is Lima's mom.

Lima then walked over to me and began rubbing her cheek against mine. Lima's mom then turned back to face me and asked, "So this is…?"

"Delta," Sierra replied, "Lima's designated partner."

"Well then," Ara stated, "My daughter seems to have found a worthy partner."

I smiled nervously, then muttered, "If I'm worthy, what does that make Wind?"

I then flinched, seeing Ara's ear flick slightly from my peripheral vision.

Must be where Lima gets her super senses. Genes.

"Indeed," Ara replied, "Lima? When can I meet this, Windsickle Vice?"

Just then, I heard Sword's voice just outside the door. I began to dread what would happen if Lima's mom found out that they had been doing that behind her back as the door opened. Immediately, I identified Wind as Lima hopped over to him.

"Lima? What's up?"

"…Meet…."

"Huh?"

Lima looped her arm around his arm and began to drag him back to Ara. Sword stared after them, then looked at Sierra, who waved a "don't worry."

"Lima? Who am I meeting?"

Lima then stopped in front of Ara and leaned against Wind as she replied, "…mum…Wind…Wind…mum…."

I almost burst into a laughter at his slow comprehension, then his almost panicked reaction as Ara smiled and said, "Nice to finally meet you, Mr. Vice."

"P-p-pleasure to meet you too!"

Wind then went into a bow, unintentionally dragging Lima down with him, causing him to hit the ground from the sudden weight. All of us burst into laughter as Ara covered her mouth in surprise. Their relationship was going to become...well...interesting.

TBH, I initially wanted to put a serious atmosphere in this chapter, but then decided, "Hey, I need to show one parent at least." And honestly, it was initially going to be Delta's parents, but then I thought about a sibling and made it Lima's mom. Anyway, 8 more and this story is done! See y'all soon!
