"I must say," Ara stated, "Windsickle is an…interesting character."

"Hehe," another woman stated, "So Delta didn't truly didn't miss a beat when he described him."

Ara couldn't help but grin as she turned to face the woman, her golden eyes meeting deep purple as she said, "I trust that he's been the reason why she hasn't been killed yet?"

"Oh, don't have a stick up your butt, Ara," the woman replied, brushing a violet highlighted bang from her face. Ara sighed, then said, "…very well…Mrs. Ordance."

"Hey," the woman stated, "that's Rosaline to you."

I clenched my arms, feeling an involuntary shiver go through my body. Lima's ear perked upwards as she looked at me. Shaking my head, I smiled at her reassuringly as she turned back to work on her next project. Just then, my scroll began vibrating, causing me to jump as I pulled it out of my pocket, seeing Ruby's face.

"What's up, Rubes?"

"Which room are you guys at?"

"Huh? Umm…."

I turned to Sierra, who motioned up two numbers with her fingers.

"Umm," I continued, "our room's 13."

"Okay, so I was right!"

"Huh?"

Just then, a knock on the door caught my attention. I looked at Sierra, who motioned for me to go get it, then at Hotel, who shrugged. I didn't even need to look at Lima to know she was too busy. With a sigh, I half-expected Ruby to tackle me as I unlocked the door and slowly opened it. However, my mental preparation failed me as I was dragged out of the room, not tackled.

"I'm borrowing him for a bit!"

"Okay, Ruby."

Gee, thanks for the support, Sierra!

Within the minute, we ended up at what appeared to be a terrace. Looking around, I soaked in the unfamiliar surroundings, then looked back at Ruby, who had taken a seat. Sitting next to her, Ruby smiled as she leaned against me comfortably. Sighing, I smiled and asked, "Where's your team?"

"I think Yang's gonna go hang out with your team," Ruby answered, "and Weiss is hanging out with Sword…I think."

"Seriously," Weiss stated, "why can't we just get some privacy?"

"Well," Sword replied as he turned to a nearby bush, "It'd help if I weren't being FOLLOWED EVERY THREE SECONDS!"

The bush the appeared to sigh as a man in a suit popped out from behind it. Sword glared as the man walked over and adjusted his tie as he said, "Young Master, since you have returned to Vacuo, it is my obligation to protect you."

"I'm very capable of protecting myself, Eugene," Sword stated. The man lowered his sun glasses, revealing his brown eyes and quickly readjusted them as he said, "It was a direct order from your father."

"Hah…," Sword sighed, scratching the back of his head.

"By the way, Young Master."

Sword looked back to Eugene.

"Who is this girl?"

Sword blinked in confusion, then remembered Weiss.

"Oh yeah," he said, "This is Weiss Schnee."

"Schnee," Eugene repeated, then gasped, immediately bowing.

"E-excuse me! I-It's an honor to meet you!"

Weiss covered her mouth in surprise, then replied, "N-nice to meet you as well!"

"Now Eugene," Sword continued, "If you please, I'd like some time alone with her."

Eugene regained his composure, then said, "B-but…your father-!"

"I," Sword stated, "will deal with him myself."

"…Understood," Eugene said, "If you'll excuse me."

With that, Eugene bowed, then disappeared into a shadow. Sword sighed, then turned to Weiss with a smile. Weiss, amazed at his negotiation skills, stared at him, wide eyed. Sword blinked in confusion, then asked, "What? Amazed?"

"Umm…yeah…," Weiss replied, looking away from him.

Sword chuckled, then turned her head and stared into the icy blue eyes he had grown to love. Weiss blinked, throwing him off of his gaze as she glanced away, bringing a hand up to caress his. Smiling, she closed her eyes, enjoying his touch as Sword moved his hand to trace her scar. Hitching her breath in surprise, she could feel electricity flowing through where he touched as he pulled her into a hug, causing her to open her eyes.

"Weiss…."

"Huh?"

"I…," Sword stammered, "I…umm…."

Weiss giggled and returned his embrace.

"I love you," Sword finally confessed.

"Me too," Weiss replied, smiling.

Suddenly, the nearby bush rustled as a woman jumped out and yelled, "YEEESSSS!"

The couple jumped in surprise as the woman, who had green eyes similar to Sword's, immediately running over and taking Weiss's hand, shaking it.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!"

"Wha-hu-what!?"

Sword, eyes wide in surprise, blinked as the woman continued shaking Weiss's hand.

"Thank you so much for taking my son out of his cage! I can arrange a marriage meeting with your father and we can have you two engaged in no time! Now, when can we-!?"

"Mother…."

The woman then turned to Sword, who had face palmed himself.

"You're embarrassing me…."

The woman blinked, then let go of Weiss's hand, covering her mouth as she said, "Oh! Sorry, dear!"

With a sigh, Sword once again approached Weiss, who appeared to be shocked.

"Weiss," he said, "This is my mother."

The woman bowed this time and said, "I apologize for my act. I am Sword's mother, Rise Alters."

"N-nice to m-meet you," Weiss stammered, "I-I'm W-Weiss Schnee!"

Just then, Rise stared Weiss up and down, causing the young woman to flinch in surprise as Rise then turned to Sword and said, "…are you sure son? Your father might not approve…."

"Weiss is usually more composed than that, mom," Sword replied, "And besides…."

Sword then pointed to the nearby tree.

"It's not like dad isn't crazy as well…," he stated, spotting a man hanging by a branch. Just the, a loud "CRACK" filled the air as the man let out a scream, then landed on the ground with a painful sounding "THUD." Rise covered her mouth as the man slowly got up, holding his back as he made his way over to them.

"Ugh…," the man groaned, "There better be an explanation for this, Sword."

"Umm…."

Sword then motioned for Weiss, who flinched, then walked up to him.

"This is Weiss Schnee," Sword said, taking her hand, "She is my girlfriend, father."

Weiss cleared her throat, then bowed in respect.

The man held his chin in curiosity and suspicion, carefully looking her up and down. Weiss silently swallowed her spit, believing that she had done something wrong as she stood back up and said, "I am Weiss Schnee. It is a pleasure to meet you, Mr. and Mrs. Alters."

Sword held back a grin as he felt her hand grip his harder, knowing full well that she was stabbing him mentally for making her speak formally. The man continued looking her up and down before Sword sighed and said, "…please stop doing that. You're making her feel uncomfortable."

"Oh," the man stated, "Of course. My apologies."

Clearing his voice, the man then said, "I am Drake Alters. It is an honor to meet you, Ms. Schnee. Even more an honor that a Schnee is my son's girlfriend."

Sword couldn't help but grin sheepishly as Drake covered his mouth, grinning to himself.

Then, with a snap of his fingers, men began rustling out of the bushes as Drake said, "You all have done a fine job. You are dismissed."

All of the men bowed, then began leaving as Rise said, "We should leave them for now, dear."

"I agree," Drake replied, wrapping an arm around Rise's waist. Sword mentally sighed as his parents left, pulling Weiss into a quick hug. The girl gawked, almost reflexively slapping him before he said, "Phew…glad you made a good impression…."

Weiss sighed, then said, "…You're parents are crazy…."

"Tell me about it," Sword replied, pulling away slightly before caressing her cheek. Weiss blinked again, staring into his emerald orbs as he said, "…Now then…shall we…?"

"Mmm…."

The two then leaned into each other, sharing a passionate, chaste kiss.
