I'M BAAAACK! Sorry for the haitus, but I had quite a bit running through my mind and...well...I contemplated changing Delta's semblance. In the end, I decided to keep it as is cuz, well, the semblance I was gonna change it to is just a basic that all warriors have. Anyway, ENJOY!

"Hmm…."

I kept my eyes on the doctor that was evaluating me as Ruby continued rubbing my back, attempting to comfort me in case of bad news. The doctor then put his finger under his finger, resting his elbow in the palm of his other hand as Sierra asked, "Is it bad?"

"Well…," the doctor replied, "I wouldn't say it's 'bad," but…."

"'but?'"

"…How didn't you end up worse?"

Huh?

I blinked in confusion as the doctor stated, "These cuts look fairly deep, but they really aren't. I also don't believe your aura has the same healing properties as Mr. Arc's, either…."

"Umm," I replied, scratching my head, feeling stumped myself.

"His reaction time."

Our attentions then turned to the door, where my mom was just walking in as she continued.

"My son's reaction time is absurd," she stated, "And it's all thanks to his father."

"Eh?"

We all turned to face my mom as she continued, "You see, Al, Delta's father, stressed Delta to focus on his reflexes."

She then turned to Sierra and said, "You should know first-hand."

"That's right," Sierra replied, "That's mostly why he became one of the better swordsmen at Beacon; cuz he reacted faster than most, if not all, of them."

"And because Sierra would always push me…," I muttered out, suddenly connecting dots as to why my semblance had evolved so much.

"A sword's only as fast as its wielder," mom stated, laughing as Lima, who had been sitting next to me, perked her ears. I took immediate notice as she strolled over to the door, running out momentarily, then heard an audible "EEK!" of startlement. Raising an eyebrow, I then straightened up as Ara came in rather…either pissed off or annoyed. Regardless, Lima apparently didn't want any part of it.

"What's up Ara-?"

"Bloody bastard got away," Ara immediately growled, her fangs showing as her ears perked up aggressively. I swallowed my spit in shock, suddenly feeling very small due to the amount of aura that the wolf mother was leaking out. Just then, a hand reached out and touched her shoulder, causing her to turn around angrily.

"Let it go, Ara," Ozpin's familiar voice stated. I let out a mental sigh of relief as Ara sighed, her aura finally settling down as Ozpin walked through the door and immediately walked over to me. I blinked in confusion as he then asked, "You're not severely injured, are you?"

"Of course not, sir," I replied, Ruby repositioning herself so her legs dangled off the side of the bed.

"Glad to hear that," Ozpin stated, then turned around and motioned for Sierra and Lima to join. The two mothers then left as Hotel walked through the door, surprising me as Ozpin stated, "Ruby, I do not believe you should be here."

"Actually," I then interjected, "Can she hear this too?"

Ozpin then shot me a look, causing me to shiver as I explained, "Well, you see, umm…it's only fair that Team RWBY, or even JNPR for that matter, to hear about this so…umm…."

"I agree," Sierra stated as well.

Ozpin's gaze changed between me and her, then finally to Ruby, who flinched as he finally sighed and said, "…very well. We are to meet at Team SHLD's room this evening. Mr. Ordance, Mr. Lancer."

Hotel and I turned out attention to the headmaster.

"You are both in no condition to fight. However, should the conditions be disastrous, I want both of you engaging. However, I do not want either of you doing anything more reckless than it should be. Is that clear?"

"Yes sir," we both replied immediately.

"Hotel!"

Yang tossed herself at her boyfriend, getting swung in the air. I couldn't help but smile as I then turned to Ruby, who was staring back at me, shooting her own smile several moments later. I chuckled, petting her head as the sound of a scroll going off caught our attention. We all turned to Lima, who pulled out her scroll and immediately answered.

"…Hi…."

"Heya, Lima!"

Wind?

"How're you doing?"

"…fine…."

"Hey, listen. Sorry about leaving so abruptly."

"…It's fine…."

"No, really; I'm sorry."

"…It's fine…."

"Are you sure?"

"…Positive…."

Oh yeah; something about his folks being sick or something?

"…Love you…."

Yeah, something like—wait, WHAT!?

We all jumped back out of surprise as Lima's ears wagged happily, a smile plastered on her face as I heard Wind chuckle and reply, "Love you too, Wolfie. See you after the festival."

With that, she put her scroll away, then took notice of our gazes on her. She looked left, then right, then asked, "…what…?"

"Uh…umm…," I stammered, "…never mind…."

"Greetings RWBY, JNPR," Ozpin greeted as the other two teams entered our temporary residence. Immediately, Ruby waltzed over to me and took a seat on my bed, resting her head on my shoulder. I looked around the room, seeing everyone else looking at me expectantly, causing me to look at her and say, "Rubes, not now."

"Oh, it is quite alright, Mr. Ordance," Ozpin suddenly stated. I felt my face quickly heat up as everyone held back a giggle. Just then, Ruby snuggled even more against me, causing me to sigh as Ozpin said, "I have called you all here upon Sierra's request, RWBY, JNPR."

Hey, I asked for them first.

"As you all know," Ozpin continued, "There have been unanswered assaults on Hotel Lancer and Delta Ordance."

Just then, a knock on the door caught our attentions. Sierra eyed the door suspiciously as she walked over to it, peeping through the peep hole. We all held our breaths, only to see her sigh and open it up, revealing Ms. Goodwitch and General Ironwood. Both entered the room, followed by my mom, Ara, and a man I didn't know.

"Oh," Ozpin stated in surprise, "Dimitri decided to come along, Ara?"

"Yes," Ara replied as the man, who also had wolf ears, walked over to Lima, whose ears were wagging happily. The man, Lima's father Dimitri, then leaned down and kissed his daughter's forehead, who was then returned the favor as Ozpin interjected, "So now that we have the reuniting out of the way, let's get down to business, shall we?"

"Yes," Dimitri stated, "My apologies."

"…Dad…."

Dimitri looked back at his daughter as she pulled him down and kissed his cheek, then pushed him back over to Ara, who was smiling happily at the father-daughter relationship.

"As I stated before, we all know about the two separate attacks on two members of Team SHLD; Hotel in the hotel room, as well as Delta just recently."

"Yes sir," Sierra replied, followed by a flurry of other replies from the others.

"Now then, I know I've only told Sierra about this, but I'd like you all to know about it. Sierra?"

With that, my leader sighed and stood up, pulling out her Scroll and pulling up a projection of some sort.

"Alright," Sierra said, "Pay attention cuz I don't want to repeat myself. I'm looking at you, Jaune."

"Hey!"

"Anyway, there have been concerns about the release of Roman Torchwick, as well as the re-emergence of the White Fang."

I quickly noticed Blake shiver from the corner of my eye as a segment from Vale local news turned on, revealing the article in which Roman Torchwick was controversially released, as well as the White Fang's re-emergence as a terrorist group.

"There have been several more incidents and, due to fear of throwing the kingdoms into panic, Team SHLD was originally dispatched to settle the case. However-," she paused, "-the day I wanted to tell my team was the day that Delta was late to the meeting, so everything basically, excuse my language, went to shit due to Hotel getting hurt."

"Gee, thanks kid," Hotel said to me, causing me to feel what felt like lead drop onto my head out of guiltiness.

"And so, I wanted to gather up the team and explain the situation after I had figured out how to deal with it after Hotel was healed, but then Delta got hurt and…well…."

"So therefore," Ozpin finished out, "I have deemed it that we need more than just Team SHLD for this operation."

I couldn't help but notice Blake's slight, yet clearly visible shaking as Lima, as well as her parents, took immediate note of the fellow faunus's distraught.

"…Blake…?"

The cat faunus flinched, then looked around the room to see all of our eyes locked on her.

"Ms. Belladonna," Ozpin asked, "Is there something you want to share?"

"Uh…umm…," Blake stammered, only to get cut off by Ruby, who stated, "We investigated the White Fang two years ago!"

There was a silent gasp around the room. I took note of Weiss mentally stabbing Ruby a million times with her Myrtenaster as Blake reached a hand out to try and stop her. However, Ruby continued on.

"We," she stated, "We fought Torchwick and…well…umm…went to Mountain Glenn to…well…learn what he wanted to do and…umm…!"

"Ruby."

Ruby stopped, then turned to face me as I said, "That's more than enough."

"And," my mom suddenly asked, "What did you all find out?"

There was a dead silence.

We all kept our eyes on Ruby, who was clearly uncomfortable with the situation before Yang sighed and said, "Well, it all ended up like this…."
