Hello beautiful people! Another short drabble for you :) I was just inspired by fireworks again - but this isn't a continuation to the last drabble I wrote on fireworks. Hopefully I can be inspired to write more drabbles especially since we're getting
such awesome IchiHime moments in the manga! Can't wait to have more of these moments :3
Disclaimer: Tite Kubo owns everything except for my ideas with this adorable couple.
Ichigo's eyes scanned the streets, looking for a specific auburn.
Where is she?
The street was bustling with people, parents holding onto their kids, couples holding hands, friends huddled together, laughing. He scowled, growing impatient. That was when he saw a flash of her bright hair. He immediately walked towards the direction
he saw the flash of hair and scanned the crowd once more.
He finally found her.
She was wearing a short skirt with tights underneath and a short sleeve shirt with a light sweater wrapped around her waist. Her hair was partly down, the waves following the wind. He smiled and wrapped his arms around her small waist. She jumped, startled
and then laughed.
"Kurosaki-kun! You scared me!"
He chuckled and gave her a quick kiss on her lips. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to."
"I'm sure you did!" She giggled and then looked away towards the sky. "We should find a spot soon, the fireworks might start any minute." He let go of her warm body and she led him down the small hill, looking around in the evening light for a spot of
grass for them to sit on.
She suddenly ran down and stood at a fairly spacious area for them to watch the show. He reached in his book bag for the blanket he brought and laid it out on the grass. They both sat down, Orihime laying her head on his shoulder, his arm wrapped around
hers. They spoke about their day, work, school, anything and everything. They were so caught up in each other that they failed to notice the firework shoot up until they heard the loud explosion. The auburn immediately sat up, her eyes twinkling with
anticipation.
"It started, Kurosaki-kun!" She yelled in jubilance. He only laughed, not commenting. More fireworks shot up into the air, filling the sky with light and color.
He wanted to watch the show, he really did, but he'd rather watch her instead.
Please review if you enjoyed it :D or any critiques/constructive advice, as well. I'll be updating It's Business, Not Personal this week so keep an eye out for that ;)
